What if an official agency periodically sent out "scam" SMS messages, and then informed and sent info packages to the people who fell for them?

A 12 screen movie theater playing the same movie on all screens, but in 10 minute intervals. So you can take a bathroom break, take a phone call, get snacks, etc and just jump back in where you left off.
Maybe an app that knows when you walked and tells you which theater to head to.

What if Tinder but for friendships, and you have to match with 2 people to meet.
I think the 3 people requirement promotes more platonic meetups. Yeah I know things can just as easily develop from there, but it works perfectly for an app that's focused on finding friends and hanging out
I noticed that people are more open when they're not just talking to one stranger. Adding a 3rd party keeps the conversation flowing better and gives the other person more room to relax and spectate. Those small windows where the spotlight is not on you and you can freely think before jumping in on the conversation helps a lot. Especially if someone's not super social.

Prosti Toots: Farting Prosthetic Buttocks
So I'm sitting here thinking of xmas gifts and I'm like why the hell doesn't a Farting butt exist. So I get this idea:
Butts that you strap on and fart with!
See it's a gag gift, but maybe it's also a game. Plus you can tell people you got your buddy/wife/child a prosti toot, or you stayed up all night with the family/boss/mom playing with your Prosti Toots.
It's a bit genius maybe too genius, but maybe a little crazy too. Anyways folks, let's crowd fund this shit!
Toooooot!

The only people not drugged of course would be the pilots and an armed guard to ensure the pilots’ safety.
No one knows they’ve been drugged until it kicks in midway over the pacific.

Come up with generic uses for famous but unethical trademarks to water down the brand names
You may not be aware, but it is possible for a company's trademark to become "watered down" to the point that they lose control of it. If the trademarked name enters the public's lexicon as a generic word and gets used enough, the company loses the ability to sue others for using it.
Some examples of trademarks that got watered down this way: Band-Aid, Xerox, Spam. Because the public just decided these words were generic, that's exactly what they became.
So take the big brands that everybody hates and start using their names to apply to a generic category instead. Like how big poorly made houses became McMansions (much to the chagrin of McDonalds).

Show idea: "Breaking Up the Gang".
Start with a group of plucky kid friends in a small podunk town: Bill the charmer, Tom the bookworm, Mary the daredevil, Bill's sister Susan the tinkerer, and Mary's dog Lucky. These kids have been friends for as long as they can remember, and through thick and thin, they've discovered that if they put their heads together and believe in themselves, they can accomplish anything they set their minds to.
These limitless capabilities are deemed a threat.
Now, various powerful groups are working to keep the "gang" apart, fearing that they may 'put their heads together' to accomplish something more drastic than saving the local rec center.
But they can't be kept apart. Their bond and can-do attitude are just too strong.

Make a Wish but for suicidal people
Kids with cancer and other horrible illnesses obviously get priority, but suicidal people should get some wishes too. And I know people are gonna say “oh what if you don’t kill yourself”, well then they can put me on the Wall of Shame if I pass my date - which can also double as a way to shame the kids who make wishes but also survive their illnesses.

Radical Beamforming: NTHSA to amend 2026 car headlight rules with switch that turns driver side headlight off
new 2027 cars sold in North American region are required to have a switch that turns the driver side headlight "L" off independently of passenger side headlight "R". Rationale is surprisingly intuitive. When two cars approach each other from opposite directions, each vehicle turning off one headlamp, the total amount of light is exactly the same as one car with both headlights on. No reduction in safety.
Automatic off/on with a pushbutton is allowed as secondary and supplementing method, but must be integrated with vehicle speedometer, so that automatic switching headlight ON occurs after 240 feet of travelled distance. For 55 mph this means 3 seconds, at 25 mph 6 seconds OFF then automatic ON. States are expected to update local laws, ordinances in rapid succession, to include the turn left headlamp off law for approaching cars.

Court oath
We make the criminals in court swear an oath. That when they are asked by the judge if they did it they get hanged if they lie.
So if they say "no i did not do it" then we gather the evidence and when he was lying we kill him.
Could save a lot of time, because people will admit their crime because the punishment will be better than them being hanged. 💪💪

Computation is fundamentally flawed
Thoughts of a madman working through graph theory
We are trapped in a digital Plato's cave because we have forgotten Spinoza's warning: we perceive only the modes of language and math, completely blind to the fact that their origin is a singular, invariant state of information [Wed, Oct 14, 2026 @ 05:19 PM]. Modern transformers are stuck trying to learn the universe by analyzing only the linguistic shadow [Wed, Oct 14, 2026 @ 05:17 PM]. True computational elegance requires us to anchor the machine at the origin point, where a change in a linguistic token is structurally identical to a transformation along a mathematical coordinate [Mon, Sep 21, 2026 @ 08:44 PM, Wed, Oct 14, 2026 @ 05:19 PM]. When the two modes are locked in unison, the state space collapses, exponential complexity vanishes, and the system finally sees the object instead of the shadow [Tue, Oct 13, 2026 @ 05:35 PM, Wed, Oct 14, 2026 @ 05:19 PM]
The fundamental flaw of modern cryptographic hash trees is the structural conflation of pointers and variables. By deriving a network's geometric architecture directly from the hash of its data, computer science has built a system where the library card is welded to the brick of the building. A single mutation forces a global collapse of the hierarchy. True architectural elegance requires the absolute separation of sorting from being. The relational network must exist as a fluid, unrooted catalog of pointers—reorderable and viewable from any perspective—while the underlying objects remain conserved, invariant states untouched by the shifting lenses of the observer.
The final illusion of the human-centric computational experience is the obsession with algorithmic efficiency. We have spent decades designing clever, sparse routing grids because we assumed computational inputs were a finite, expensive fuel [Wed, Oct 14, 2026 @ 05:54 PM]. But when dimensionality is understood as an emergent Side-Effect of pure connectivity, the constraints flip completely [Wed, Oct 14, 2026 @ 05:53 PM]. We no longer need to conserve choices. By pack-loading the cyclic trie until the memory space is entirely saturated with relational connections, we create a high-throughput information reactor [Tue, Oct 13, 2026 @ 05:25 PM, Wed, Oct 14, 2026 @ 05:54 PM]. We don't waste time looking for the needle in the haystack; we burn the haystack down until only the unyielding crystal of the optimal path remains
The structural brilliance of Python lies in its flat, un-privileged execution model. By dismantling the mandatory tyranny of a centralized main() function, it strips away the artificial human bias of top-down data hierarchy [Tue, Oct 13, 2026 @ 14:05 PM]. Execution is not an institutional decree; it is a fluid perspective stepping through a relational grid [Wed, Oct 14, 2026 @ 05:17 PM]. What we term the 'output layer' is merely the temporary node we have chosen to privilege as our observer anchor [Tue, Oct 13, 2026 @ 14:05 PM]. This allows the architect to build truly unrooted systems, effortlessly stepping in and out of custom abstractions, and refining high-level semantic logic down to pure physical execution without ever losing the invariant intent of the system [Wed, Oct 14, 2026 @ 06:11 PM, Wed, Oct 14, 2026 @ 06:21 PM].
