As the title suggests I(22M) had an interview yesterday at a clinic pharmacy. I dressed up a little nice and everything.
Well I call my friend telling them how the interview went, and I decided I would love to "treat" myself to some mcdonalds... prolly the worst choice not only cause well it's mcdonalds but also because of my experience with the cashier.
So I end up wanting to pay cash cause I got a few tips from a drag performance I did this past weekend. So I wanted to spend that first before I touch my bank account.
So I order at the kiosk, and just get me a cheap little mchicken meal.(it's pretty bussin sometimes)
And I go up to the counter to hand the younger cashier(M) my ticket so I can pay him.
First this out of his mouth
"You like Jesus?" Dead as fuck serious to...
(A little lore about me. I'm a gay man who has not been treated nicely by Christianity or most off shoots of it. So I've grown to me more anti theist than anything)
I say No.
He says, "You don't believe in god?"
I say no.
He says, "that's not right x2"
As if you saying once wasn't unprofessional enough
He then keeps asking more questions, while holding my money, and just apparently refusing to finish the transaction.
A few more of his questions included
"Do you pray?"
My response. No I go to therapy
"Where do you think yo go when you die"
My response. Idk in an urn or a grave depending on how my loved ones wanna go about that.
Proceeded by more
"That's not right x2"
Finally this man finishes the transaction and hands me my cup.
I just wait by the counter to grab my order and sit down with it in one go. Cause efficiency.
So when I get my order. I go play my food down, and go to fill up my drink..
And this man's is actively blocking the drink machine... talking about me to his coworker.
This coworker was our and about in the dining area just laughing up a storm during this whole experience.
Safe to say when I sat down. The first thing I did was make sure my friend on the phone heard everything. I didn't hang up cause I didn't realize checking out your order was also an invitation to get put on trial over ur personal beliefs.
And then I said for a little whimsy... "I didn't even think I looked that gay"
