First time growing and my plants are about week 7 of flower, not super big yet. (NYC) I have a trip from the 18-27 and my roommate who's taken care of my plants before will water them. Im trying to stretch them throughout the season to get as best buds as possible. How are they looking and how long do we think left? Is there anything I should be doing different the last few weeks? The weather looks like it'll be alright but Im more so worried because they are so close and take care of them often.

Additional vid in the comments Forgot to mention shes a purple lemonade fast flowering photoperiod by fast buds shes in an old bedroom as she had to br moved a couple months back relax giys there are no children living at the premises the bed an toys are due to be thrown out ANYWAYS i planted this beautiful girl on april 17th using bio bozz light mix with zero prep in a 20 litre pot i used roughly 16 litres of soil at the time them arpumd may 1st i added fire ash and dry grass then on may 7th some fish water then on may 11th i topped the pot up with multipurpose compost a couple times i also fed jer nova max veg feom june 1st onwards sometike in june i added a second pot with over 20 litres of bi bizz light mix soil and stack the original pot om top of that obviously poking holes at the bottom it worled really well and the roots adjusted accordingly i also did alot of topping and supercropping along with lst alot of thr branches are close to half an inch thick thank to which i have roughly 20 or more main colas i only decided to flip it aroumd september 4th and now we are roughly 9 days away from harvest as she had her last feed roughly 4 to t days ago and the fade is starting ti set in

So I’m a fan of growing in coco, having control with synthetics and I’ve grown the best weed in this setup compared to organics. I listen to scientists like Bruce bugbee and I don’t care about the naturalistic fallacy.

I find living soil and the content around it on YouTube a bit.. cringe? Like who tf simplifies their system by regularly making tea out of trash. I’m half-joking but as you can see I have prejudices.

From the people who have switched to living soil, are there any reasonable people who were able to grow healthy plants with synthetics but still saw a noticeable increase in quality?

No pro living soil comments by white dudes with long hair, barefoot shoes or a liking for kambucha. Jk.

If your synthetic grows looked like shit and you just couldn’t handle it, I don’t want to hear how the quality improved! Only care about people who didn’t have to make the switch out of incompetence. Jk.

i germinated the seed on october 8th and the taproot sprouted on the 12th so i planted it on the 12th and today it sprouted, the first picture is from 11:55 am and the second is at 1:55pm
ive never grown before and my only knowledge comes mostly from groups like this and various videos online so i was wondering what first time tips anyone might have to help me have a successful first grow anything would be appreciated

Hi everyone! A few years back I’ve started growing in my bedroom under a 35W LED and gradually levelled up to the tent and setup I have now. As a result, I have 3 Spider Farmer SF1000 for my 2x4ft tent.

Running 3 100 watt quantum boards with 3 separate drivers obviously creates hotspots and heat. I wonder how big the difference really is to a bar style LED. The coverage right now is decent, besides the edges of the tent maybe, but I don’t grow the biggest plants and I don’t need to maximise yield - I pretty much only care about quality. Because I don’t have one SF2000 but separate and spread out lights, the covered surface is larger.

The middle of each light sometimes gets too bright for the plants to handle and the heat of the lights competes with my dehumidifier’s heat in late flower. I just don’t know if it’s worth it for me to spend 300 bucks on the same wattage just in a different architecture. Has someone made a similar switch and can tell if it’s worth it for small spaces?

If you've crossed something, or you've got a killer pheno from a hunt, at what point do you think it's generally accepted that you get to name it?

Day 60 from seedling coming out of surface auto super silver haze. Grown in 85-15 coco perlite with general hydroponics three part flora series. Even after 45 days it was still in veg so i suspected it may not be an auto and switched from 18/6 to 12/12 schedule. It has started throwing hairs and all centres are looking light green so it is transitioning but the problem is I NEED THE PLANT READY TO STORE IN JARS BY 45 DAYS FROM NOW. And im really scared think it will be done by then.

What are my options? Pls help

Hi there, first time outdoor and first time with this wild Emergen-C. She should be in mid-flowering and lately she yellowed a lot. I'm not good to take the run-off (I need more practice).

How is she doing overall?

Strain: Emergen-C

Medium: Biobizz Light Mix

Pot: 34 L plastic pot, one plant.

Nutrients & schedule: Feeding every ~7 days, alternating feed and plain water.

Per 4 L batch: Atami 1-Component (base) 7 ml, Plagron Green Sensation (PK booster) 2–3 ml, Pro-XL Pro-Led Extreme (Cal-Mg-Fe) 4 ml, Rhizotonic 2 ml

Water EC ~0.5 Input EC ~1.3–1.4 Input pH'd to 6.2–6.4

Suddenly today I noticed these brown edges on some of the sugar leaves on a few of the tallest tops.
Is this normal? Could it be light burn, or bud rot? Nutrient-related? Drought stress?

This is my first grow so any help is appreciated.

Strain is a LCG clone, day 38 of flower.

I’m growing in 5 gallons of HappyFrog under an SF1000 (100watt broad spectrum LEDs), plus an SF Glow30 (4-piece side lighting) that adds 32W.
Last time i measured with Photone the center of canopy was around 1200PPFD.
I’ve been keeping the VPD dialed between 1.4-1.7 during flower
but we did have a heat wave a few weeks ago and she was fine.

For nutrients I use GH Flora Trio,
During flower I’ve been feeding 0.5 tsp Micro, 0.25tsp Grow, 1tsp Bloom per gallon
And she drinks a gallon every 2 days.

No idea on pH or EC, those are really the only things I’m not measuring

So i was recently at my local hydroponic store picking up genetics. Ive been stocking up on higher end breeders like bloom, solfire, archive, seed junky, exotic genetix, in-house and etc. I spent a decent amount of money at this trip like around 700 dollars or so just on genetics and while we were talking, the owner threw this in the bag and said here's something on the house and I told him thank you and totally forgot to ask him what these were. Does anyone know if this is the powerzzz up that does work for cookies? I couldn't find anything about him releasing any s1 strains, im not even sure if this is an s1 strain or if thats a 51 lol. Im just looking for some more information. I would appreciate it a lot

Should I finish it out to the end or just throw it away and start fresh?

Ok, so yesterday I harvested a couple of buds because they were ready but it was getting really late so I hung dried them in a dark room (it doesn't really stay cool in there so I have to move them today). I did not bud wash them or anything (first time grower I don't know what the f*ck im doing I just learned about bud wash today lol). Can I still bud wash them today, 24 hours later?

I then want to put them in a paper bag in the fridge. After bud wash I will hang dry them for a couple of hours and then but them in the bag. My two questions are:

1) Do you completely seal the paper bag? Or do you leave a small little hole so air flows inside the bag?

2) Do I trim off the branches, stems and leaves or can I leaves them? The leaves have a lot of trichomes and I would hate to waste them away, but I don't know if leaving them on would be detrimental.

Yes I know they are a bit droopy. I just gave it a good watering. Also defoled the big leaves covering the bottom of the plant.

What the title says, i have some seeds that are about 6 or so years old. Kept them in a seed vial in a cool dark space. I started a new grow with them but trying to germinate them it doesn't seem like after 2 days they are going to pop. Are the seeds too old?
