I only got started on THC a few years ago. Never really partook in high school or college but was around it plenty. Just never really felt inclined to try it. So I guess I missed out on all the blunt rotations and getting high at parties.

I'm just pretty asocial these days to begin with, and so have zero friends and thus no one to use with. I have to hype myself up just to speak with someone anymore these days lol. Just how I am. Aloneness suits me and no one can bother me.

But are there any of you who have your trips and ride the pink cloud in solitude or isolation?

I bought this Monday, and it is now Wednesday (third time I’m sitting down with this jar) and I see this.

I’m not upset or even really grossed out, I’m 99% sure fire kills most things lol.

I just don’t know if I should call the manufacturer? Or is this normal?

My girlfriend and I are looking for fun or interesting things to do together when we're high, but every time I look this up, people just suggest sex or watching movies lol. We're open to staying home or going out, but we're tired of doing the same things every time.

Looking for actual experiences or creative ideas, not just the usual suggestions. What do you guys do?

I put my pen in my bag last night (as I do every night), and somehow it flipped upside down so everything in the cart is on top instead of at the base. I'm afraid to preheat it...buuuut I heard a warm tortilla might be the solution? 🤣

UPDATE: I used two methods! First, I laid my pen (horizontally) next to me while I sat outside. After about 10 minutes, it was less viscous. Then I realized I should have stood it upright 😂 put it in my pocket for another 5 minutes, and then enough liquid had collected around the base to use the preheat on the pen! I am a solid [4] now, the perfect level for loud music and housework. Y'all are the best.

i tried searching for a topic like this but came up empty. maybe this can help others in the future

i'm an older guy who has been smoking for almost 25 years. i have smoked the schwaggiest schwag. i have scraped resin for an awful tasting, headachey high. i have spent hundreds of hours on some dude's couch just to spend $40 on an eighth. i have a lot of experience with pot on that level. i've never needed to know about strains, oils were a myth, and edibles were something you tried to make yourself every couple of years and were only ever so-so.

but now i'm in a legal state. i've done a fair amount of research, and feel like i have the basic jist. i went to a local shop and got a $30 ounce of an indica hybrid, which looks just as good as any of the best bags i ever got back in the day. i basically have done what i used to do, only i walked into a store and paid pennies compared to what i used to.

but what i'm wondering about is from others who were in my position. as a newly-liberated oldhead smoker, what sort of things are "must-do's" in your opinion? for instance, i am just burning my flower in a little glass pipe like a caveman. what's the new hotness for smoking apparatus, or are there any bigger and better versions of what we've always used? i know there has to be some advice out there for someone like me. thanks in advance my lovely fellow ents

It was one belt so I ate it like it was one serving but it was 10. I personally think it’s a bad idea to not cut it into 10 pieces themselves but what do I know. I’ve got a pretty high tolerance and have been ingesting all forms of weed since I was 20, and I’m 33, but I’m still a wee bit worried. Who else did a dum dum thing like me

Today I went to some "mental health specialist" because of some actual serious problems, whatever, when she asked if I can sleep well I said yes but I smoke weed for that. and that was it. she said something like "we can't help you while consuming" and that I'd need it to be clean to start

what kind of sense does that make? then she started talking and basically said "yes all of your problems are because or worsened by weed and you are addicted but we won't help you until you quit"

I understand these doctors work like that and I can just go to another place but in general, everyone says somewhat the same and it's always wrong, and it's really tiring;

I try to smoke a little bowl after 4:20pm and another one after 8pm but I'm always late for them anyway, and I don't usually fill it to the very top if it's pure weed, but to the half or 1 or 2/3. if i fill it to the top It's mixed with other herbs. so a full, pure bowl from my tiny pipe is quite rare for this very addicted guy, let alone a full (and really thin!!) joint.

I must say I don't always smoke only twice in the day but I dont go very crazy either and it's the same amounts

don't ask me about all the good habits weed made me pick up and the bad ones it made me quit. of course I don't have a perfect life but it has reshaped me a lot and still is, I think only my sister sees that, and the fact that it's literally the only thing I consume or do (I dont even eat salt or sugar)

I could sell all the shares I hold and buy everything from a few dealers I know right tomorrow if I wanted to. I could have done that for a long time, I could have done that at my worst, instead, I tried to keep it with me by improving. because I genuinely love the plant and want to smoke for as long as I can in a way that helps me

all of this just for people to blame it for everything, it's very easy to just dismiss my every problem and say it's because of weed, point at it like it's killing me while it has been the only thing that kept me alive at one point...

i'm in my very early 20s, and already have to quit smoking bc it fucked my upper respiratory system.

i'm talking constant head congestion, ear pain, sore throats, raspy voice, always waking up feeling miserable.

i've been vaping nicotine & smoking weed for just about a decade - became a daily smoker around 5 yrs ago, mostly just a couple bong rips at night. (clean bong w perc, cold water sometimes w ice, clean & tested flower)

my doc even supported the decision at first bc its the only thing that helps w my chronic pain, lack of appetite, and mental health (ocd/cptsd/constant fight or flight type stuff).

i knew it'd catch up to me eventually. id always planned to switch to edibles/tinctures, but thought i had at least a few more years.

(ik the vaping doesn't help. i've been tryna quit, but yk.)

so, my questions for yall (esp long term smokers):
am i just unlucky w how quickly i got fucked? do longer-term smokers just ignore this stuff, or are my lungs genetically weak or some bs?

i am not a fan of edibles & am not having a good time :(
