I have always had difficulty making friends to be honest. My entire life I’ve always been the outcast or on the outs of a friendship group. Or bullied severely which causes even more issues and pain. I believe I am on the Autism Spectrum as well which may have been part of the reason I’ve have so much trouble with finding and keeping friends. I do have a lot of health issues as well which set me apart from others that are healthy. It’s another barrier I have desperately tried to minimize but at the cost of my energy.

I am very shy at first and can be awkward. Once I am comfortable around you and trust you my true personality comes out. I am very into anything true crime, horror, sci fi, action, comedy movies and tv. I love a good documentary too usually on conspiracy theories. I enjoy reading, journaling, video games and being in nature. I have four wonderful cats that make my life amazing. I love any kind of animal honestly. Most are better than people. I love all kinds of music except jazz and country. Music has been a lifeline for me many times in my life. I love history very much and am drawn to various time periods. Genealogy is a big interest too. Astronomy and astrology are very big passions of mine. I do not have any children and do not intend to for myself and my partner of 13 years Shawna. I am veryyyy left leaning when it comes to politics and human rights. My mom and I go to protests quite a bit and share the same ideology and passions. I am a social worker which is a huge passion of mine. I have had jobs as a TSS for children on the autism spectrum, worked as a health aide and in various group homes. I have a bachelors degree in Psychology and it’s truly always been a passion of mine to help others. It’s what I am meant to do. That drive can be a catch 22 at times because I give all of my energy toward others and forget to fill my cup too. And I have burnout frequently along with my chronic health issues.

I don’t have the greatest self esteem and a lot of times I feel I don’t deserve to take care of myself. I have mental health disorders that fuel this belief. I have Bipolar type 2, anxiety and PTSD. Through a LOT of hard work I am stable at the moment. And it’s my goal to stay that way. I don’t want to scare people off when I say this btw I just want to be honest about myself and my struggles.
