Are there any rentals or exchanges for cross-country ski gear (boots, skis, poles, clothes) in Lloydminster? I'm new to the area and interested in trying cross-country this winter, but I don't want to purchase all new gear for a sport I may not end up liking due to the cold.
I'm guessing the Nordic club may be the best place for used clothing, but maybe a few stores in town offer seasonal rentals? I'm 5'3, 130lb, typically women's medium, boot size US 6 / 6.5.
Thank you in advance!

I’m talking a proper indoor one, not another seasonal outdoor one. We are sitting at a little over 30,000 in town with another ten thousand or so within a 30 minute drive radius around Lloyd, that just way too many people for one pool to service. It seems like every time I go to bioclean it’s always at capacity, and when it’s not it’s closed for maintainence, we are one wreck or breakdown away from Lloyd having no pool at all. I grew up in a city that has 6 pools currently for 115,000 people, that works out to one indoor pool per 19,000 ish people, we’re almost at 35 in town and have 1, I think it just needs to change and would go a long way to make this town better for families.

Anybody in Lloyd do driving lessons and prep for what would be on road test? Want to try and get my license before December.

hi! i’m thinking about going to weaver park after dark in lloydminster with my boyfriend, and i was wondering how it works when you book tickets.
do you go through the haunted trail with other groups of people, or is it just you and whoever you booked with? also, is it actually worth it since i’ve heard it’s only around 20 minutes long?
if anyone’s been before, i’d love to hear what it’s like and whether you enjoyed it! thank you!!

Good day everyone, was just wondering is Lloydminster a good place to look for office administration work (administrative assistant, receptionist, office administrator) there are not a lot of postings so I was wondering if it's okay to do walk ins to businesses in the city and drop off resumes. Was wondering what people in the city think about how accessible office work is.

Hi, so I'm moving from my town. I wanted to live in Lloyd, where I went to elementary school, but I'm really worried about the crime. I'm moving the end of the month with my relatives, so I could save money. My father sat me down and lectured me on the drugs and crime in Lloyd and how I need to be safe. Now, I already knew I had to be careful, but now I'm anxious. I wanted to move to Lloyd for college, for friends, and for the things they had compared to my small town which seemed great. Also i have childhood memories there. However, I'm young. I just graduated highschool. I'm a girl. I have no friends, no licence. To get someplace, I'll have to walk or call a taxi. I'm wondering if this just isn't safe. I know when I visit Lloyd it always seems so normal, but then I read up on crime in the news, and i know from my own relatives how crazy it gets there.. I don't know. What do I do? Good idea or do I just save and move someplace safer?
