This is an original homebrew setting with its own Lore, Factions, History, homebrew Races, and Characters. There will be some characters/Npcs that are based off characters you would know so please keep that in mind. 

The campaign takes place in a world made almost entirely of ocean. An enormous mountain range known as Mariana’s Peaks divides the world into two regions, The Old World and The New World, which is far more dangerous and mysterious

• Independent kingdoms and territories
• Tiny settlements and sprawling nations

There is no single world government Instead, the Navy is controlled by the combined power of three major kingdoms, alongside smaller independent kingdoms and territories scattered throughout the seas.

The party’s decisions will have meaningful consequences. Throughout the campaign, you may choose to align yourselves with different factions. These choices can affect:

This campaign is very item/crafting heavy with players able to brew their own alcohol and make meals with buffing effects along with a lot of misc items from several books like griffons saddle bag. 

Technology will also becomes stranger and more advanced once the party reaches the other side of the world.

Travel is a major part of the campaign. You won’t only be sailing across the ocean.

You are not required to use the homebrew races or feats but it is encouraged that you try them out if you’d like.

We will be using third-party/partnered content classes available on dnd beyond such as:

This campaign will be a mix of combat and roleplay with roleplay especially being required and will be more focused on.

There are no exceptions to this rule. I’m operating on an honor system, but anyone discovered to be under 18 will be removed from the campaign. 

This campaign is not intended to be nonstop edgy content. However, the setting includes darker themes that I am not comfortable exploring with minors.

Themes that may appear include:

• Racism and discrimination
• Violence against oppressed groups
• Some sexism
• Murder
• War
• Political corruption

These subjects will be treated seriously as parts of the setting rather than used solely for shock value.

The following content is not allowed at my table:

Sexual content may exist in the world, but all sex scenes will fade to black immediately. I am not comfortable roleplaying explicit sexual scenes with strangers, so this is a firm boundary.

One last thing I wanna mention is that me as your DM is a pothead and I usually take edibles during my sessions usually around 10-20mg to help loosen up and role-play more smoothly but I take em in moderation and I know my limit before I can’t dm so I’ll be fully cognitively there but not too far gone to where I’m unable to DM. If this doesn’t bother you then you’re free to continue.

I'm looking to start an online session of the campaign "Curse of Strahd". I have only ran one trial campaign and then the group fell apart due to scheduling issues but I did have one player crying at the end of that campaign. I have one friend who wants to join this campaign but I understand CoS is an expansive campaign that can take a long time. I’ve just finished a frankly rough first campaign with an intensely railroading dm who made it feel like a chore so wanting to meet a group wanting to have fun and explore a new world. Greetings everyone. I have been informed that a player who just joined is now sadly going to drop out because of their work schedule having changed an being no longer able to make it leaving the chair at the table open. This campaign will be Curse of Strahd where players will enter the land of Barovia after having been hired by a mercenary company to look into some werewolves that have been seen and terrorizing travelers along the roads near Daggerford then be transported into Barovia during the search. Players will then set out having the goal of freeing the land from the control of Strahd Von Zarovich and finding a way to return home to Faerun.

Hello everyone! My name is Seeker. I’ve just started DMing for the first time, but I'm excited to run a campaign. Long before our time on Albion, lived beings of pure magic; to them, magic existed as a way of living and surviving. Magic was used to create buildings, run businesses, and even in agriculture; it was in the hands of everyone. The world of Albion was ruled by the gods, brothers of light and darkness, creation and destruction. Life was harmonious until one day a woman sought to defy the brothers and become a third god; the brothers granted her the curse of immortality and wiped-out existence as it was known. This woman was forced to live in exile alone for an eon before signs of life began again. Instead of just what would become known as humans, other races began to emerge, and with it someone needed to teach these beings the joys of magic. So, becoming the goddess of the world, she taught the people the way of magic, and for a while magic slowly began to retake the earth. The brothers, watching from their domain, reappeared back to their once golden and blacken thrones to show people the way of magic better than the false goddess.

It is now the year 17 Frostburn, and magic has retaken the world once again. However, the brothers crave violence and wish to test the new mortals of this realm. The brother of darkness begins corrupting people to take on the more sinister part of their nature, while the brother of light begins corrupting people to believe it is time for the age of magic to end and introduce a new era of blind devotion to the gods and kill the false goddess. As a final act of goodwill, the false goddess bestows her gift of immortality onto a group of unknowing people. Now with the false goddess in hiding and the brothers slowly corrupting the world who is going to stand up and fight against these brothers? Or will the world fall into a new age one where magic might no longer exist?

Extra Actions: To balance the Action Economy, you are allowed a second Action per turn.

Double Hit Points: When you roll for your hit points, double the roll and add your Constitution Modifier twice.

Jaan is a world dreamed into existence by Ilyx, who is basically the reason any of this exists in the first place. And somehow, despite being the most powerful being imaginable, he decided that what the world really needed was us.

There are a bunch of places to explore, including:

Candy Land- Everything is cute, colourful, and suspicious. If something looks harmless, it probably is not.

Azoruae- A kingdom in the sky, because apparently having normal geography was too boring.

Kachhua- An entire land built on the back of a giant turtle. The turtle is also called Kachhua. We did not overthink the naming process.

The Land of Mirrors- Creepy, beautiful, and deeply unpleasant if you start wondering whether your reflection is actually you.

The Land of the Unknown- Basically, the part of the world where reality gave up and said, "fuck it." If something should not exist, there is probably a place for it here.

Meridian- The neutral region where everyone is supposed to behave themselves.

They do not.

The Norse Region- Exactly as it sounds like.

There is also gods, kings, archfae, ancient creatures, weird little guys, political nonsense, questionable magic, and enough lore to keep us occupied for a very long time.

You can be a hero.
A villain.
A complete idiot with a sword.
A morally questionable wizard.

Regarding the group, we are RP-focused. We're looking for active, collaborative players who enjoy working together and contributing to the story.

If you're concerned about lack of knowledge, we're new-player-friendly! you're welcome to join regardless of experience level. We're also a laid-back group.

As far as party composition is concerned. We currently have five players, most of them playing full casters or half-casters. Because of this, we'd especially encourage anyone interested in playing a martial character to apply!

We’re looking for 1–2 players to join our Curse of Strahd campaign! We previously had a group running a homebrew campaign for a while, but scheduling conflicts eventually caused a few people to drop out. We decided to start a new campaign and have had one session of Curse of Strahd so far, but unfortunately, we’ve already lost a player due to scheduling. Hi all I'm new to Shadowdark but I've played rpgs for about 7 years now including 5e, Cyberpunk, CoC 7e, VtM, Mothership, Lancer, Mork Borg and more and I'm looking to start getting into Shadowdark because it looks promising. I have estimated Saturdays at 8:30 PM are the best play time for me and I'm willing to GM or be player.

I don't have an exact plan for a campaign, in case someone has another idea but my current idea i'm playing with is called "Shadow of the Vampire King" which will basically be Shadowdark with a Castlevania / Curse of Strahd tone with dungeons all over to get lost in the dark in and a vampire castle megadungeon. It's a very loose concept rn tho but if anyone is interested in that we can totally do that. I'm down for anything though, even if it's just a one shot. hi y'all! my name is jude, and like the title says, i'm looking to join a game but my schedule is weird, so the times are weird. i have availability on tuesdays from 10am to 4:30pm MST, and any time after 10pm MST on monday, friday, and saturday.

I’m looking for 3-4 players for a long-term campaign set in a homebrew world inspired by old Sword & Sorcery books (Moorcock, Howard), Lovecraftian horror and the history of the Islamic world and the Eurasian steppe. We will be using an indie OSR system called the Black Sword Hack (SRD). The campaign will run every other week on a fixed week night (Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evening from 19h30-23h GMT+1, to be determined when we form the group).

What kind of players am I looking for? 

I’m looking for 3-4 players who are 21+ and who are above all interested in storytelling and roleplay. I’m hoping to run a serious, more realistic campaign with real consequences and dangers. There will be mature themes and elements of horror. While we will use the consent questionnaire to ensure everyone has a good time at the table, this campaign is probably not a good fit for people who prefer not to engage with darker themes. 

I’m looking for players who want to engage with the world and become a part of its moral, cultural and relational universe. Players who understand that failure is often a better story than success, and who are not afraid to roll the dice and take a risk when it would improve the story. If you like Greek tragedies and weird mythology, then this might be the right campaign for you. 

As the introductory blurb suggests your character will start in a state of near total amnesia. The overarching story of the campaign lets you uncover your past and decide what to do with that knowledge. This means you will not be creating your own backstory for your character - this is not the right campaign for you if you are unwilling to wholeheartedly buy into the premise. 

Finally, some practical information:

• This campaign will run every other week. On the off-week, we can potentially play a different game if someone else feels called to DM it. 
• We will play on a fixed week night from 19h30 till 23h GMT+1. Possible days are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, to be determined when we form the group.

While working for a dwarven mining collective on a mysterious asteroid, your group uncovers an ancient secret that puts you at odds with the Corpse Fleet, the dreaded undead space armada from Eox. Can you survive the trials awaiting you on the grave world and beyond, or will you become the first victims of the Corpse Fleet’s plans to turn the galaxy into a cosmic graveyard?

I’m a new GM when it comes to Starfinder 2e, though I’ve run D&D before. Expect a welcoming table with room for all of us to learn together. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re brand new to tabletop games, making the jump to Starfinder, or already familiar with the system!

This adventure combines exploration, horror, and wacky pop culture with space opera action. We’ll use Foundry VTT’s maps, tokens, sounds, and other features to bring its strange worlds and dangerous encounters to life.

If all goes well and the group wants to continue, we can transition into Secrets of the Swarm which goes from level 6 to level 10. Otherwise, we’ll wrap up at level 5, as intended, with a complete adventure behind us.

Greetings! I am looking to run a Pokémon Tabletop United game and I am in need of some more players.

The system we're using is an updated version of Pokémon Tabletop United.

We haven't decided exactly what the game will be about yet, nor the setting, so we're still talking about that kind of stuff!

My expectations of you: I expect you to show up on time on a weekly basis and be an active participant. Of course emergencies happen, but if you know that you typically have obligations or situations that arise that will prevent you from playing weekly, DO NOT APPLY!

My partner and myself are looking to get involved in a long-term weekly campaign in Pathfinder 2E (Online via Foundry)! Though we are primarily looking for a GM, we are happy to join a new or existing group with other players. We're looking for something Saturday or Sunday so we can regularly attend. (Weekdays might be possible depending on time, but with working full time, it's a tight window.)

Some tidbits about us:

• We're enthusiastic players. We will ask questions in discord. We will write RP stories an interactions in-between sessions. We will make memes and jokes about our adventures, we will draw or commission art of our characters. I know that can be a bit much for people who just want a board game night, but if that sounds like a "hell yeah" to you, then we might be a good fit!
• We are both in our 40s, so preferably looking for a older, 21+ table to gel best with.
• We have a mix of experience (played various RPGs for over 15 years!), but have all had experience with PF2E, 5E, and Starfinder. We just really prefer PF2E this time around.
• We most enjoy long-term character development and cooperative storytelling, as well as classic RPG adventure and monster-slaying. Our preferred split of roleplaying, exploration/puzzles, and tactical combat is about an even balance. It's all important, but everything should follow from the roleplay and narrative.
• Mature/NSFW content and subject matter is okay! It shouldn't be the focus, but we're adults looking to play with adults, and open-minded as long as everyone at the table is comfortable.

What we're looking for:

• A weekly game on Saturday or Sunday: Can start anytime, but are in a MST timezone.
• Happy to play in established settings like Golarion or The Forgotten Realms, but more exotic ones are really cool! We're not afraid of homebrew settings, in fact, we enjoy it!
• An LGBTQ+ friendly table with a low tolerance for bigotry, bullying, or harassment! We're all here to have fun together, right?
• A team and GM more interested in working together towards a fun, immersive adventure rather than murder-hoboing or PVP.

The Rotting Colossus

Once, in the world of Virdeia, the world was full of magic and wonder. Good and evil battled it out in endless, glorious combat, magic surrounded the world in its entirety, and beautiful creatures of all kinds swarmed the whole world.

While none of those things are quite gone yet, something else has begun to displace them. A newer, darker world, dominated by iron and smoke. Once bountiful creatures are slowly being hunted to the end of their lineage, magic is increasingly tossed aside in favor of machinery, and the lines between good and evil are growing more and more hazy with each passing day. The world of Virdeia, once vast and overflowing with mystery, grows ever smaller with each passing day, which may grant an opportunity to dangerous forces waiting for a chance to climb out of the shadows.

Soon, even the Gods themselves may find themselves at risk, as forces gather in the shadows to unleash powers that even the Gods themselves shall tremble before.

You are all misfits and criminals from across the realms hired by the kingdom of Noctia as a sort of secret service, aiding the empire's interests across the continent and beyond. For your first mission, you will be heading to Coregium, a Roman/Greek inspired city where you'll investigate reports of vampires menacing the city's population.

I've put the most important information in the title but let me know if you have any other questions, and please make absolutely sure that you have nothing else going on during Thursday Nights before joining. (Time zone is MDT) (Players start out at level 3) (Server is 18+)

A new age came to the galaxy, one brought on by the end of great war, an unexpected betrayal, and the turning of power from one seat to another. Least that's how most came to see it when The Empire came to it's rise, a new face sat upon the pyramid. That was, until new rules, regulations, and restrictions came trickling down from tippy top, to drown the rats at the bottom. Many suffer under the iron grip of The Empire and her many heads, whether its being ground under the boot of an Imperial Officer, or by the reports filed by the ISB that causes people to disappear into the night. Some come to agree that this new boot on the throat of the commonfolk is inexcusable, they throw their fists into the air and shout of injustice, the roars of rebellion are brewing and swelling like a wave ready to crash into the shore that is The Empire. You can only hope it wont crush the innocent below its roiling depths before it reaches its target.

This will be a longer, story driven adventure around a group of Five to Six noble heroes, from very different walks of life who are forced together by events that almost seem destined to steer them towards changing the galaxy. Set just 2 short years after the fall of The Republic with true Imperial law just beginning to take effect.

Allowed Content - All three books are fair game, want to play a Smuggler? play a Smuggler. A Jedi survivor? Go for it! A clone on the run after order 66? Fuck yeah!

Limitations - I want to keep it all fair and balanced, so I am limiting the campaign to one to two Jedi, depending on player count, and will be banning the Morality system. ALSO 18+ ONLY

Systems - We'll be using Roll 20 for the Maps and Characters (using the API for rolling), with Discord for the maps, and Hyperdrive to help create the characters.

Character Creation - In keep with the idea of "Unsuspecting Heroes" the start will be either a Duty or Obligation pick with +5 XP and +1000 credits, anything you CAN pick up with that, feel free to.

Canon - This obviously might change the story of Episode IV ALOT, which is why we'll be following our own story, so fear not you wont be railroaded by current Canon, and may even find your chance to face off against some historic baddies!
