I’ve been flying over Kolkata for the last 11 years, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen the city look this boring from above. Kolkata just doesn’t seem to be glowing anymore. It feels so different from what I’m used to seeing.

Visited Chorbagan Sarbojanin yesterday

Hey everyone! I’ve been exploring Kolkata over the last few days, and honestly, the experience from Day 1 has been amazing. I like the energy here and the people are really good.

Since I am used to Mumbai, it is very easy to compare both cities. One thing I noticed from the very first day is that people follow traffic rules—most people wear helmets and stop at red lights, which is really good to see 🚦.

There were a few cultural things that felt a bit new, but I was already quite aware of them and now I'm actually experiencing it all firsthand.

Right now, my pandal hopping is going on, and I also visited the Dakshineshwar Temple as well as checking out two-three pubs 🍻. The mix of everything here is just great.

I am meeting a lot of people and exploring different places. I will try to share more updates from today onwards 📸.

By the way, I am 26M and a pure vegetarian 🌱, so if anyone is in Kolkata and wants to hang out, or has any good vegetarian food spots/ mithaai or must-visit places to suggest, please feel free to DM me or drop a comment! 🙌

i've been romanticizing the city of joy, and my uni since day 0. now that it's been a year and a half since i passed out, i realise the memories are the real horror movie.

where did the carefree days go? i was an adult in college as well, but now that it's over, it feels like the real adulting has begun.

i miss you city of joy, i cherish the moments you gave me with all my friends, the days we spent being high, exploring the rooftops of all the buildings in the uni are really over, aren't they?

24F here from and amar Pujo plans ekhono almost nei 😭 I have plans for Sunday, but apart from that, Ashtami te ki hobe tao ekhono sure na. Tar upor office achey.
