So I live in a pretty rough part of the world. Like, really rough. I won't say exactly where but the city I live in, is mostly a slum, half of its flooded, there's huge wealth inequity and our mayor has started calling himself "Baron"...

Anyway, I was on my way to the market yesterday minding my business, when a ve-hicle shoots past and knocks me down! As I got up I saw the driver run over one of my neighbors, jump out and punch another one, then steal his ve-hicle and take off! in broad daylight!

I even called out to the nearby officers for help, but him and the other officers on the scene were too busy grumbling about some kid with a rat on his back to even notice!

Idk am I overreacting or do these guys sound kinda.....corrupt?

Post TPL game but still having jak 2 & 3

Anybody else love TPL and its gameplay style AND love jak 2/3 but wish the jump didnt happen so fast? Like if there was a game similar to TPL that built heavily on the sages and the potential other powers but eventually jak 2/3 were still in the timeline. I feel like there is so much available in TPL that couldve made a great 2nd game with the similar style and then pushed into the jak 2/3 story.

If you had control over the story, how would you go about adding another TPL style game and then eventually leading it into the jak 2/3 games?

Is the pc port of the trilogy using AI?

Im tired boss, lol.

I know that the fan made pc ports predates the recent boom in vibe coding grossness, but that obviously wouldn't stop recent work on them from using it. As someone who is not willing to trample my convictions to get to video games, I just want to know if LLMs have been used in this.

Read our community's rules:

1: Be excellent to each other.

• No hateful, discriminatory, or needlessly disrespectful posts or comments. Personal attacks, slurs, and targeted hostility are not allowed.

• All users are also expected to follow Reddit’s reddit's sitewide rules.

2: No low-effort or low-quality posts.

• Low-effort, low-quality, or off-topic posts may be removed at the moderators’ discretion. This includes posts that are not directly related to Jak and Daxter, posts made to provoke arguments, duplicate discussions, vague posts of small substance, and other posts that do not meaningfully contribute to the subreddit.

3: Avoid reposting.

• Try to avoid reposting already submitted content. If a link was last submitted over 3 months (90 days) ago, you may resubmit. If several people post a link at the same time, the first post will be kept.

4: No spam, advertising, or selling.

• Spam, advertising, and excessive self-promotion are not allowed. Users may submit up to three of their own videos or streams per month, but not all within the same week. Posts that exist mainly to sell, advertise, farm clicks, or repeatedly promote the same creator, product, channel, or service may be removed.

5: Correctly credit fan art.

• Fan art that is not your own must credit the original artist. Credit should be included in the post title or in a comment. A direct link to the original source is strongly recommended when available. Do not claim, imply, or present someone else’s work as your own.

6: No standalone AI-generated content.

• Standalone AI-generated art, images, videos, audio, fake screenshots, fake leaks, fake concept art, or similar media are not allowed.

• Using AI as an assistive tool is allowed when the underlying idea, opinion, theory, question, or creative direction is your own. For example, users may use AI to help organize their thoughts, clean up grammar, translate text, format a post, or express something they were already trying to say.

• Posts where AI is the main source of the content, rather than a tool used to communicate the user’s own ideas, may be removed at the moderators’ discretion. If AI was used in a meaningful way, users should be transparent about it.
