Mine was fedex my husbands was ups to the same house. Ordered a few days apart

Yes they both did. The app kept saying I could sign electronically ahead of time but would never actually let me do it. Seems like it’s a condition apple imposes probably so people can’t say it never arrived and demand a replacement.

Got one from UPS and the guy saw me and heard my dog and left it on the porch while he jogged away.
2 others cake via FedEx and did require signature.

I cant say for everyone else but I got mines from UPS, but It wouldnt surprise me if for some was the nightmare of USPS

UPS, phone received on launch day. I have received accessories ( cases etc) from Apple via FedEx. (Toronto )

California, shipped by Fed Ex, delivered to wrong address even though it was correct on the package.

UPS, driver handed it to me and didn’t require a signature.

I was kinda surprised because in the past, Apple products typically came FedEx in my area. They still use them for trade-ins.
