Discussion What's the first thing you do with a new iPhone?
Got my new one this past thursday afternoon, and before i'd even touched iCloud, step one was peeling the factory film and getting a screen protector on – maybe 30 seconds apart! (my record is 3 cracked screens in 10 years and i have never once lined one of these up straight by hand... so i wasn't gambling this time, there was an anker tempered glass screen protector out on the counter ready to go, this one comes with an alignment frame that clicks over the phone + auto dust removal) Here's hoping this screen outlives the last 3!
Then the settings round. Keyboard clicks: gone. Haptics: on. Action button now does the flashlight. Raise to Wake got shut off too, since my screen lighting up everytime i roll over in bed is a hard no!! Always on display off as well – and about a week later i'll cave and switch it back on, same as every year!!

Getting the screen protector on perfectly before doing anything else is so real 😂 I also turn off keyboard clicks immediately.

How does raise to wake light up your phone when you roll over in bed? Do you sleep with the phone in your hand? I got lost on that one

Kinda curious about that myself. Sounds like he was referring to his watch instead.

Take a photo and ask if I got the best color.
