Is it worth it on sale? I never ever in my life dont play Halo,not a single game.But other side,i hear MCC is broken,full off errors,unplayable? So i need help ,should i buy it on sale,or game state very broken and i will suffer to just try to make it work?

Just some color swapping that reflects how I feel the cartridges should look.

By now everyone should know that’s his team that he rides or die with. I get it’s an aesthetic for fun, but seeing this mod just filled me with confusion.

Hey all, was just doing a community check since all the stuff I've googled are a year old, but is playing Multiplayer on the Master Chief Collection on steam opening my PC to RCE exploits or any kind of malicious files, I know this is moslty an issue for old call of duty servers but I wanted to see if anythings changed or if I can safely enjoy the classics online still

I recently just got mcc when it went on sale on steam after I quit game pass and I can’t figure out what’s wrong.
Everything goes fine during the login until I get to the main screen where everything that involves online content seems to be unable to load, along with my account and its details/progression. I’ve tried the usual suggestions like clearing the web cache and repairing it but nothing works.

Been playing Halo since Halo 2 and I’ve enjoyed it. For me my all time favorite is Halo reach with ODST at a close 2nd.

I would love to have another game that was similar to Reach or going down another ODST route.

A Reach route I think would be fun would be on of the first Spartans on Harvest when the Covenant strikes first and they don’t know what to do or expect.

As for the ODST route it could follow Rookie and the guys after ODST or it follows a different squad doing like a speciality mission.

I’m a sucker for games like ODST. Give me more Space Paratroopers.

Hi! Been a Halo fan since the OG Xbox and still love the series :)

I just purchased a first edition Fall of Reach from 2001 in hardcover from my HPB. I didn’t know it even existed in HC and could not pass it up (pictures to come, after work).

I’m wondering if any of the other early Halo novels were ever printed in hardcover? The era of The Flood, First Strike, Ghosts of Onyx, Contact Harvest, or The Cole Protocol—

These were initially inspired by LostxWoods creation of the CE cartridge and I wanted to extend to the other games. I definitely acknowledge my cut and stick job could use some work so consider these first drafts. I’ve had them made and sitting on a shelf for display for a few months but the recent port/decomp that was shared here inspired me to share them. It would be amazing for these to eventually be loaded with an actual board and playable on real hardware. Maybe more demakes will come out in the future and open this project back up for me.

I’m happy overall with how they turned out given the color pairing and might consider doing a set for the other titles. Let me know what color pairs you could think of for Wars, Reach, 4, 5, and Infinite. It might be hard to get a unique color scheme for each game.

I wanted to share some of the work I painted a few months ago while working at Ángel Giráldez’s studio.

This is the Noble Team from Halo: Flashpoint by Mantic Games.

I really enjoyed painting these miniatures, although I have to admit it took me a little while to get used to painting for box art rather than painting armies. It was a great experience, and I’m really happy with how they turned out!

Anyone else enjoying the wall run mechanic in halo?

My name is Eddy! I'm a photographer/videographer based in Los Angeles, and I'll be attending Halo Fest!

This will be my 10th convention of the year, but this one is especially meaningful to me. Halo is my favorite gaming franchise of all time, and I've been looking forward to this event!

I regularly photograph cosplayers at conventions, usually meeting people and organizing spontaneous shoots throughout the day. But for Halo Fest, I want to do something different.

I want to bring some of Halo's most iconic moments to life through photography and video!

I'm hoping to recreate memorable scenes from the games, capture Spartan multiplayer stances, and create some cinematic portraits that do justice to the incredible armor and the Halo universe.

Since this event means so much to me, I'd love to connect with fellow fans and cosplayers ahead of time so we can plan something special!

windows bluetooth works by allowing applications to (often annoyingly) automatically switch between 2 modes: a high quality headphones mode without using a built-in mic, and a low quality headphones mode with built-in mic support. this mic support (called Hands-Free mode) is our enemy when we don't intend to use it because it degrades headphone quality. this is a widespread issue with MCC, where it forcibly switches to the low quality mode, resulting in many bluetooth users unable to use their headphones for the game. we're going to disable windows' ability to switch to this low-quality mode.

if you actually DO want to use your bluetooth headset's microphone and headphones at the same time, you should not disable the Hands-Free drivers. this is only for people who do not intend to use the built-in mic, as using both mic and headphones at the same time results in poor headphone quality.

skim the entire guide first, and THEN do it so you know what to expect. it's recommended you save this guide to a .txt file on your desktop named "fix bluetooth audio quality switching" so you can revert it or reinstate it in the future. this will work for all apps, not just MCC (but MCC might be the worst i've ever seen it handled)

to disable the hands-free device:

it's a good idea to close any and all applications before doing this, especially ones that produce or record sound.

open Device Manager (start menu -> type: device manager -> click "Device Manager"). look in device manager for your headset name under the "System devices" category. mine personally is called "Monster Aria Free Hands-Free AG". yours may be different but will likely include "Hands-Free AG". if it's not under "System devices", it may be under "Sound, video and game controllers" or "Bluetooth". just make sure it has "AG" at the end, there should only be one of those. just right click and do "Disable device". don't mess with other devices even if they seem like they're relevant.

finally, restart the relevant audio services by opening a cmd prompt as administrator (start menu -> type: cmd.exe -> right click and 'Run as administrator') and paste one line and hit Enter: net stop audiosrv /y && net stop AudioEndpointBuilder /y && net start AudioEndpointBuilder && net start audiosrv

from that output, a service may say it was already started, ignore it.

the apps you launch will now be ignorant to the hands-free functionality of the headset, meaning they will no longer switch because they think you want to use its built-in microphone, which would reduce headphone sound quality. no more fuss. good headphone quality.

that's it! enjoy your apps without the annoying bluetooth audio issues. if it doesn't seem to work, do a PC restart (use "Restart", NOT "Shut down"!) in case there were any niche services that needed a restart that we didn't touch on.

to re-enable hands-free capability for apps:

right click and "Enable device" on that same "AG" item you found before. you do not need to restart audio services with the admin cmd prompt this time.

nothing special just wanted to share a blender render i did and may be get some more ideas.
