Anyone else enjoying the wall run mechanic in halo?

It is my pleasure to inform you all that I’ve finally solved the issue of the Pelican not fitting inside the Paris-class frigate’s hangars.

I politely informed two of the hangar doors that their services were no longer required, leaving only four longer ones, while restructuring the interior and relocating turrets and missile silos to prevent interference with the ship’s internal structure and gain additional interior clearance.

All that’s left now is to work on the exterior and interior hangar doors, as well as the corridors connecting the hangars.

Due to project reclaimer coming out with a higher player count and better forge budget, me and many other forgers have made maps to have fun on for everyone to see what halo could battle like at crazy places... and yes the tall buildings on Mombasa are destroyable as you see in the image.

How to install? If you want to install halo 3 project reclaimer you just need Halo 3 mutiplayer and campaign from MCC on steam which is on sale for 10$ USD as of this post (or 2$ for just halo 3 I believe)

If by chance the server is empty, I usually host after work to fill it up if you dont wish to host and gather players yourselves!

Safe? If anyone is concerned about moderation, the server has much in place.

You need to have a custom name, 1 hour of playtime on the server and a valid connection to be able to call vote kicks, that way they arent abused by anyone easily.

The server blocks VPNS and has a ping limit to prevent laggy players

The server once fulls, self duplicates so if more people want to play another server is made. We can at 64 players per server for balance.

We only permeantly ban hackers and those bans will ban them from all 45 [IBIGS] servers, any hacker we ban we collect info and send it directly to the reclaimer dev about the hacked client as we usually collect data before the ban.

Otherwise if someone is being just nasty with team killing, either mute them or do a vote kick​. You can trash talk we dont care but we tend to kick people who are actually serious like those who talk about children weirdly, aka dont touch children. Otherwise lets have fun on these maps :)

Just got HALO 2. Hope it plays OK on my 360

Going down the line it's:

Minor, Major (Design tweaks to distinguish them from the Minors a bit better), Stalker, Captain (Design based on 2 because the flags are great), Captain Major (Their look in 3 is iconic and it gives a visual distinction between them and the normal Captains), Chieftain, War Chieftain, and finally a Berserker (Planning to have most Brutes have the berserk mechanic but have the Berserkers as a much more aggressive version of that)

Hi, so basically I’ve been thinking about playing Halo for some reason, many people say that it’s an awesome sci-fi experience. Actually I heard about Halo 12-13 years ago, when I was a kid, but i can’t really remember looking for any information about it because I couldn’t speak English at that time, I’m just not from the US and Halo has never been a widely discussed game in my country. Now that I’m old and capable enough to understand lore and all the stuff about the game, I’d like find out whether it is worth it to get into this game. Are there any advices or comments I should keep in mind. Please keep your answers SPOILER FREE, thank you in advance

Just an odd curiosity of mine that I've had for the longest time, though I only really noticed how blatant it was after spawning the campaign and multiplayer elites side by side while playing around in Reclaimer's Forge mode. They're both virtually identical in all but the eyes. I haven't played the 360 version of 3 in ages, so I can't really confirm if it's a consistent change from the original, but it's pretty puzzling to me in any case. Always liked this iteration of the elites for their goofy looking lizard eyes, and I only wonder if it's an intentional change for one reason or another, or it's purely the result of some odd bug.

As the title suggests, I just finished Halo 3 for the first time. I played Halo CE, 2 and 3. Now that I remember there was this spartan(?) hunter who was looking for master chief in the beginning of halo 2. I finally thought I was about to see other spartans but I saw Locke never again? Not even in halo 3. I asked my friend he said Locke is a character from Halo 5 not Halo 2. Am I actually tripping. Keep in mind that I played the Anniversary edition. Could it be they added this scene in anniversary edition?

Really appreciated the new armor provided to the elites in MCC personally, but then they ended up forcing this divisive undersuit on everyone, if they wanted to keep new skins on. It was pretty much an effective repeat of what had occurred with the spartan undersuit initially, whereas the original had been replaced by a newer, somewhat blockier version, before the change was reverted entirely, resulting in the new version getting scrapped altogether due to backlash. The elite crowd is certainly a bit more niche I guess, but it always eluded me to see how little discussion was had around the new elite undersuit, especially with how much of a change in style it was from the original. The fact that they never decided to set it to a toggle of its own sort of irked me, but I guess we're long passed the point where this is a change they'd consider, at this point in time.

I don't necessarily consider myself a purist in this vain since I do think there's a lot to like about the new undersuit, it's just that I definitely preferred a lot that the old one had going for it, especially with how it shines under decent lighting, with the odd fleshy red hue that occasionally shows up. Maybe the new one looks a bit too over-designed; I especially don't prefer the weird "elbow pads" on the new undersuit, but the hands are very sleek. I may have just not been too active at the time, but I wonder what the consensus is with the newer undersuit they stuck with in MCC.

So I know there is has been a lot of talk about a possible lore reset and what not. I am not here to talk about that. I am here to talk about underrated books in the franchise.

For me personally I think Halo: Envoy is perhaps one of the me most underrated book in the franchise. We get to see Grey Team again which is a plus, but we also see a more personal look at the consequences of the war, the politics between the different ex covenant species and humans, and some really good character arcs.

I also view the Battle Born series as underrated as well. Has a decent story and characters. We also get to see the war from the perspective of civilians. And like Envoy it doesn’t lead into any of the games and not required reading. Granted a good chunk of the books are not required reading.

And I am not sure if it is considered underrated or not but I am going to include Contact Harvest. Getting to see Johnson’s background was awesome.

Curious to hear what other people would consider underrated books or stories in the franchise.

So I was thinking of buying the Halo collection on Steam, but I am confused on the fact I can apparently buy the games individually. My general assumption is that I buy the collection, I get all the games.

So why is there an option to buy the individual games without buying the collection? Like Halo: Reach seems to work without the need for the collection, but for the rest of the Halo games, it seems like you need the collection to even play these games in the first place. If I wanted just play one game, do I still need the collection to play the games individually? If so, then what is the point of buying the games individually in the first place when you need to buy the collection for them to be playable.

Sorry if this stuff seems obvious, but this is all very confusing to me.

I'd also need to keep the controller usable for other stuff on the PC at the same time I'm playing the game. This is an accessibility issue for me, I really hope there's a solution out there. Thanks.
