Edit: just a lazy ass hole. Got it out today around 3:30. Is now revoking claims and can’t stop himself from lying. The name will be posted.
Long story short. No names unless I can confirm this dudes scamming me. Smells like a scam but I won’t say it factually until all doubt is eliminated. Bought a used pedal on reverb. Label created basically immediately or the next day. Well within proper time and impressive.
But then… nothing. No updates. Nothing. Tracking still show it wasn’t even taken to a location for mailing. It’s still sitting. Over the allotted time for reverb.
So I contacted buyer. Buyer assures it’s been mailed. Another 24 hours pass. No updates. So I simply sent another inquiry about what’s going on. Then it got weird.
The seller began not answering any questions and instead claiming they were insulted that I asked. So I said whatever, asked for a refund and hoped I could move on. Denied. More insults from buyer claiming I don’t know how the mail system works (I use it about 3-4 times a week for mailing).
Then it got REALLY weird. They reported me.. for something? Jumping the gun before I could. But I did anyway. Now support needs to work with them before me? Weird stuff.
Finally, the seller offered me a full refund. So I sent the request. And obviously, in that moment, they fell off a cliff and stopped responding.
This is obviously a scam, right?

I've been looking into building a pedalboard and I've read that delay pedals are essential to any board. I kinda don't get it though. I'll definitely have a reverb and I'd think that's enough. I just see delay as a cool add on effect. Am I looking at it the wrong way?
Edit: I should also ask, how do you guys use delay? I've just used it as a fun effect. How does it thicken lead lines and solos? I'm not saying it's bad or anything, I just wanna figure out if it'd help my rig.

Absolutely shameless. Am I wrong to think that it’s absolutely shameless? They don’t even try to pretend that they didn’t buy the thing just to resell it at twice the price as soon as they get it. Ugh.

I'm looking for suggestions (no wrong answers) on effect pedals. I currently have room for 1-2 more on my gig board... Next to my scf chorus, nemesis and big sky.
I know I don't have a phaser so that's in mind...
If you have something to suggest throw it down for me to research.
Really the only preferred criteria is that it can run stereo... But not necessary since gigs are mono.
(No need for any overdrive/distortion as those are covered)
Thanks 🎸

What has anyone's experience been with the Burstphonic PAF pedal by OctaKing? I personally have zero experience with it or opinion on it. Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts.

Hi there! I’m looking to put together a pedalboard for playing shoegaze. I’m using a Valeton GP-5 as my foundation, but I want to add some other pedals—specifically a delay, a reverb, and a chorus/flanger. In what order do you think I should arrange them? Also, I’m planning to get a Rat-style distortion pedal that features different modes.

Could you all recommend me pedals that would add these very specific sounds to my guitar, synthesizer, and 90's ROMpler synths for a project I'm working on?
The goal sounds:
Glittery, twinkly, sparkling, Christmas-like sounds, as if the sound was a red, green and gold glitter-covered ornament, or the glow of multi-colored incandescent string lights across gold and silver tinsel strung around a Christmas tree
Frosty, snow-like sounds, adding the sound of a hundred little specks of pure frozen water swept against the winter jackets and plastic sleds of people sledding down a crunchy hill in town between the warmth of fire-lit street lamps, or the sounds of ice crackling on a small pond in the woods while ice skaters glide across it and leafless tree branches clack around in the wind
Pristine shimmering crystalline sounds, whether as distant ringing bells to ear-tickling wind chimes, or the sounds of a cave full of icicles being bowed or plucked by xylophone mallets, or the sound of church bells being hit by sleet (frozen rain) in the city park and gently ringing, etc
Hollow invisible cloaked sounds (this is a weird one but I'm gonna shoot my shot). Is there anything that can take a source sound and "hollow it out" to leave just the edges of the sound audible? A "hardly there anymore" effect? As if invisible musical instruments played from a different reality were audible from our world? Or anything that makes a source sound "cloaked" and faint, but not just "quieter" but more like a delicate sonic shroud wrapped around it?
Radio static-like, interference type sounds, whether it's something with a literal built-in radio that can be scanned or something that sounds like it's making the source signal break up and become partially static-y and glitchy in radio-like ways
I'm completely new to pedals but very knowledgeable about audio production, synthesizers, sound design, etc. I'm not in need of beginner-friendly recommendations, unless of course it nails the sounds I'm looking for. I just need to know what's out there that nails these sounds, even if it's niche stuff like boutique pedals or experimental hardware or euro-rack modules or DIY scrap-heap concoctions or synthesizer-ish hybrids or even old-world electro-mechanical doo-dads sold at the World's Fair in 1920, just whatever can take a sound source and make it sound like the above!

Y'all helped me pick the Volante, and I absolutely love it. Just one more, and I am done with the rig for this album. For many years I had a rotary speaker cab, and I need that sound again. Which rotary will get me closest? I already use a Vibe but it's not going to cut it. Thank You!

I see that boss ex-4 is preorder everywhere. I have not seen a date though? Has anyone seen one?

Can people please help me identify the 6 pedals on this board please? I've figured out that one is a EHX Freeze and another is a TC Electronics Polytune but can't figure out the rest.

What EAE should I get next to run into the Citadel? I play mostly jam band style music.

What do you guys think of this pedal? How would you use it? Any suggestions?

That Superfuzz is a great sounding boost, The Matcha Cream is really good modern fuzz sound. The June 60 Choruses without giving unusable wobbliness.
The delays in the M5 are sweet .
You can get really experimental with the CDR70.

Specifically looking for pedals to tame/balance the famous MUFF/Fuzz mid-scoop that I can put directly after a MUFF/Fuzz in my signal path.
Calling experienced MUFF/Fuzz users!

I ordered up a cioks power supply as I was getting terrible interference from my cheap mosky power supply so this has fixed it. Anyone with a cheap power supply, get yourself an upgrade! I decided to also order a RAT with this after seeing them for years and everyone on here screaming about them.
Well, holy crap. I didn’t have high expectations but this pedal delivers. I have probably 30-40 overdrives (yes, I have problems!) but never got round to trying this. It’s so versatile and sounds fantastic. Can do everything from light overdrive to Van Halen Marshall type tones to metal.
If you’ve not tried a RAT and were sceptical like myself, just go buy one already.

Just look at this fucking thing.
Its badass, absolutely gorgeous, glows in the dark, astrophage purple LEDs, and sounds incredible.
Custom built by the one and only u/pandagrahams (his Marathon themed 5150 in a box pedal made me reach out to him instantly) with a simple request, go nuts and create a true ssbs Fuck clone with a sci-fi theme. We discussed Interstellar and PHM and his final design is literal perfection. I have a Lightspeed clone before it, and love feeding it 10% hair and slight eq to boost the high mids. I'm using it for a mathpunk weird hardcore album (Refused meets Daughters meets Mars Volta) and it sounds great with everything I throw at it.

Wanted suggestions on a delay and maybe a fuzz, also if anyone has any mini pedals that might be cool to add sum extra versatility I’m looking for mostly classic kinda delay and fuzz but would also like the option to get experimental with stuff. Thanks!

This just dropped today. The demos sound sick! I have one on the way. The only pedal I have ever purchased on the first day of release. Can’t wait for my NPD.

Pretty straightforward, I have $150, I want a new pedal. I play anything and everything and have a pretty fun setup right now. I am not opposed to buying used and in most cases I actually prefer it.
What are some fun pedals you guys would recommend that I can get for somewhere around $150?
Current pedalboard for reference:
