Im loving the event, all but the infestations (Infestations being a part of the event, you'd think they'd fix them resolving themselves before introducing it.)

My biggest complaint about it: Do the stupid Pint Sized Evangelists have to bum rush my camp and harass my glowing cat and shoot at my nuclear reactors!?

Im gone for one activity, and come back to 3 of the slashvangelists breaking in the doors of my camp and busting my generators!

Normally, I do not mind the random super mutants or molerats, but these freaks are well armed with flamers and my cat does not need that. If it wasn't for my mothman cultist camp buddy, i'd have lost most of my crap.

Zenimax needs to provide a functioning no-solicitors sign or something, or I am going to have to keep eating evangelist bodies. I'm gonna be fit for Thanksgiving at this freaking rate.

Being able to coordinate teams, ask for help, ask what people need and so on would be so good for the health of the game. Yes I know Reddit and discord have this stuff already, but having it in the game would be terrific.

I've been staring at the map for the past 30 minutes (did two events) and there hasn't been a single infestation.

How often is infestation?
Does it show up when you have map open? (does it update, or do you have to close and reopen map to see it)
Does it have notification when it pops?

Does anyone know if there's any other way than server hopping for the grave digging quest bug? I accidentally let a lot of maps accumulate while doing events and now I have to server hop to use them. Just wondering if anyone has found a way that doesn't involve having to server hop T-T

I like that the railway rifle and cryolator got need weapon mods, but can the next update add mods for crushing blow AND

BRING BACK THE LObber tesla or Lobber barrel for the Tesla.

It's been a while since the barrel was in the game from what I've googled and no one seems to want to sell it from caps, so can Bethesda just add it into the game as an earn able item.

My favorite part of this season is seening people, price gouge items at first and then maybe day 3 into an event everyone has it already. CAN BETHESDA PLEASE DO THAT WITH THE TESLA LOBBER BARREL. Thank you.

Raids/Expeditions - A few questions...

I'm recently back in FO76 after a four year absence and slowly catching up on everything I've missed 🐌 I've never done a Raid or an Expedition before.

I've recently learned 4 star mods can be earned from doing Raids so I'm quite interested in doing one. I guess I'd like to do the Expeditions too though I'll need to read up more about what they entail.

My questions are:

-How long do Raids and Expeditions take roughly?

-Are they still done commonly? I occasionally see people creating Raids teams but no one seems to join them 😂

-How difficult are they? I'm a relatively experienced player (level 860 main character, almost 2k hours) but I've never been super great at endgame content and I'm pretty sure I'll not be able to solo these with my damage output. I'm still a Bloodied Stealth Commando. I notice I'm doing more damage now compared to when I played 4 years ago but I'd never be able to solo Infestations, Scorched Earth, etc. So I know I'll almost definitely have to team up but I don't want to be a total liability 😂

Any help or tips would be much appreciated 😊

Been trying to get the red terror.. but haven't seen the event show up since the update

I just reinstalled FO76 and noticed it has been over 2 years since I last played it. I spent so many hours in Appalachia, loved the grind, building camps, selling stuff and meeting new people but after a while I got bored with some stuff every day. The last time I played my Two Shot Explosive Tesla Rifle was still working (I heard that stuff won't work anymore).

Now. Before jumping back in, is there a quick way for me to find out how FO76 has changed? What kind of currency do we use lately? What kind of guns or builds are working? I really feel like I've been living under a rock but don't really know where to start.

im using a 2 shot explosive vats optimized pin pointers gauss mini gun with tesla coil dynamo, gunner sights and penta barrel when i get max raider rep with a full set of vulcan power armour and abusing canned coffee i also have 5 future perk points for when i max out my 5 special legendary perks that ill allot into strength adding easy target and scattershot and i will be adding tier 3 quick hands and lowering better criticals to tier 2 and class freak to tier 1 the 2 agility perk point will be to max out gun fu (havent fully mapped out my power armour legendary mods quite yet) i also am using a different heavy build currently without vats but plan on switching to this when its fully dialed in and i dont want to use it until its completely done i want to be surprised on how well it works or doesnt work whats your guy's opinion on it?

I'm sure it's floating around but I was looking for a fun "infinite vats" weapon and before you judge me please hear me out. I understand blood sacrifice makes nearly anything infinite in terms of ap cost but I mean a genuinely infinite vats weapon like a minimum ap pipe weapon or plasma flamer. So far I know of those two and the minigun, along with some sorts infinite weapons that have a slow fire rate allowing conductors to catch up.

My personal project recently (as in earlier tonight) was to find more weapons but with a bit more use, my findings led to the gatling laser. Not the ultracite gatling laser but the normal one. The base vats usage is 8 on normal and 14 on ultracite. Further reducing it with vats optimized we get to 5. Throwing on the aligned barrel then crushes it to 4. So right now it's theoretically an infinite vats weapon but I'm at a bit of a hump, the current setup I have is high agility and luck along with quad/ crit/ vats enhanced/conductors. The issue is the fire rate. It's shooting too fast for public servers to accurately fill my AP with conductors, if I swap to charge barrels I can maintain vats but DPS falls drastically. If I throw on ffr instead of crit then the DPS rises but conductors starts falling off.

I'll report back tomorrow.. or later today because it's 4am and I have to sway along the seven seas in an effort to arrive at class in about 3 hours. Rest assured I shan't wane in my efforts, 'tis merely a brief respite. (I'm a pirate btw)

What is the 4 star Severing Mod used for that makes it so much harder to find and so much more expensive? Whenever I see posts about adding a 4 star mod that boosts damage against enemies with certain effects on them, everyone seems to pile in and say that Pin pointers does more damage but I’ve seen plenty of pin pointers in vending machines but not a single severing mod.

First time seeing no one join the mischief night event. Only one other camp on the map. Yesterday this time servers were packed and now no one is on?

I have a bunch of Uniques that have sat in my stash since I got them. How do I tell what is a Legacy? What is considered sought after?

For context i like to do alot of things by myself if i can as to not bother other people. my build is [deep breath] furious/onslaught heavy weapons limb damaging reflective/ricochet Union power armor full health hunger & thirst.

limb damaging related perks - easy target, scattershot, tormentor, one gun army

reflective related - 5 aristocrats, 5 luck pieces on PA & ricochet with nat10 + 10 PA luck + herd mentality (23 luck total), & bullet shield.

my best attempt was with my tesla rifle (two shot, rapid, swift, electricians) with auto barrel. i would use my V63-BERTHA that has the same mods but no electricians. i use that and take the hits to get its shield down then switch to either my altered valkyrie or gatling plasma. still couldn't clear it 🫤

Have they fixed the crafting of the outfit yet? Or any news on when/if they will? It’s one of my favs and it would be really nice to wear it on my other toon 💔

I feel like either 1200 isn’t enough or I’m just simply not maintaining it properly, what do I do with all this ore, and all the junk I have like what are the best things to craft so I can get through it all because all I’ve been doing is crafting random weapons and armors, scrapping them, and at least learning some mods here and there. I had the kill 1 uninvited guest challenge for one of my weeklys, and felt so lucky when I saw him show up at the end of my first mischief night of the day. I made sure to tag him, I SAW the damage numbers. Other players killed him pretty quickly. But it didn't mark the challenge as complete?? Am I supposed to do the last damage that kills him?? Usually just damaging the enemy once or twice is enough (and I do good one shot damage with my sniper rifle)
