As outlined in the wiki, Sonora Cruz has a unique 10mm Pistol that does 100 damage per shot, but it can't be obtained legitimately, and she never uses it since she always flees from battle.

Why do you think the developers gave her such a weapon instead of just a normal 10mm Pistol? Do you think it was a mistake that they accidentally gave her a dev-testing super gun instead of the normal one? An easter egg of some sort? Maybe they meant to give her a unique pistol, but never got around to finishing the weapon?

If I had to give her a legitimate, balanced unique weapon, here's what I'd do. I feel like a revolver fits the whole cowboy vigilante theme better than a 10mm.

• NAME - The Lawbringer
• APPEARANCE - A Scoped .44 Magnum minus the scope, with a dark mahogany grip and a cleaner silver finish, engraved with tally marks on the barrel indicating kills.
• EFFECTS - Cannot zoom in due to the lack of a scope. Weighs 3 rather than 4, has an Item HP of 300 rather than 240, has a spread of 0.5 rather than 0.3 (due to the lack of a scope), and has an AP cost of 30 rather than 32. Does 50% more damage to NPCs with Evil Karma and double damage to NPCs with Very Evil Karma. The crit multiplier also increases to x2.5 against Evil NPCs and x3 against Very Evil NPCs.
• OBTAINING - Can be obtained by killing or disarming Sonora Cruz, although if you are an evil character, she'll do a ton of damage to you. Alternatively, if you turn in 50 Fingers to her, as well as Junders Plunkett's finger, she will give you the gun as a reward.

Not sure if anyone's played this but it's on my top 3 dlc sized mods for fo3, love the story and the voice acting was slightly better than Alton (although understandable because Alton was an old mod, which made it remarkably good for the time)

Its on sale at the moment and cheaper to buy GOTY than individual DLCs…

I have the same problem with lockpicking interface too. All white textures.

I have a i3 1215u, 8gb, Integrated graphics system.

I have the integrated graphics bypass mod installed.

Someone said DxVK would fix it. But I see that it's a mod preconfigured for FNV, so before I break my save game just wanted to try if any other solution is there.

Edit: I have tried installing DxVK, but the mod dll is the same as the bypass mod dll, so how do i deal with that? I have a low end laptop and really want to play this awesome game so please help me out.

EDIT 2: Finally cracked the code guys,
1. DXVK was all i needed but there's a catch. The problem was i was trying to use the latest version, but my Vulkan support was for 1.3. Just remember to download the correct DXVK version.
2. Or if you feel tired, download all, and try pasting each d3d9.dll into the game root folder to see which works.

Took advantage of a steam sale and picked up a copy of fo3 and so far my wife's computer cannot seem to make the game work, first had to install d9d3 to even start the game and now she cannot leave the vault without it crashing, which the first crash has caused us to notice she also cannot load into saves without starting a new one and loading into the old , help I'm lost and extremely frustrated with trying to make it work on my own for her

as the title suggests i'm having issues where geck won't let me have more than 1 plugin (not counting regular Fallout 3). i have bAllowMultipleMasterLoads at 1. i have fallout 3 geck extender if that helps with anything.

I was fucking around with the mesmatron in Evergreen mills and I’ve discorved the raiders there have unique dialogue once pacified. If you don’t believe me try it yourself. The question is why? Why give lines of dialogue that will never be heard under normal gameplay? Was this original meant to be an evil karma settlement? Sorta like an Mos Eisley vibe yknow a hive of scum and villainy. Some examples of the pacified raiders dialogue is this: “que pasa?” And “have you heard about that group up north?” This is literally unique dialogue form raiders I guarantee you’ve never heard before. Try it yourself.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Fallout New Vegas and 4 but something about Fallout 3 just makes it feel like home. Yknow? Just something about the world, maybe it’s three dog, maybe it’s nostalgia. I’ve played this game since I was 5 years old man. It feels like my home. Idk how to explain it. No other Fallout game can compare… my comfort zone. That’s what fallout 3 is to me.

My headcannon is that it began to resemble oasis a few years after project purity got activated, I know the geck makes trees n stuff grow faster but growing forests would probably take a while. Downloaded a few mods that made my game look like what I pictured in my head

I went to Rivet City and talked with Dr. Li, before going to Three Dog at the GNR building, she told me about the Jefferson memorial\project purity (while completing the Wasteland Survival guide). I had already talked with Moriarty and got the GNR location on my map much earlier in my game.

I can still start the Three Dog GNR antenna quest, but it feels like I missed out on being given a BOS related one (all my other play-throughs the BOS was out side).

It is fun having a save just before and (on Hard) fighting 2 Overlords, 2 Masters and the Behemoth... They fight each other which is amusing to watch.
