Hi, I’m at level 80 in this play through and had my home settlement in Far Harbor. I had 6 PA display cases and one PA station in the settlement. After returning from completing nuka world, 4 of the 6 PA suits are missing with their display cases empty, and the suit that was at the PA station is still standing there, but the station itself is gone. Any reason for this? No mods besides trophy friendly creation content, and no settlers at this settlement not even for a supply line.

The lag has gotten pretty bad and idk what’s causing it. The game ran fine when I started my play through but recently it’s been super laggy even if I’m not in a heavy area like new Boston. It’s really taking me out of it and I really wanna keep playing. I’ve already altered the game settings to favor performance over visuals and made sure there aren’t any other games running in the background for quick resume. Any suggestions?

The Justice League in FO4

All the outfits are technically vanilla except for Batman and Superman. Wonder Woman and Superman were definitely hardest to do. Green Lantern came out the best imo. His look is very reminiscent of his costume on Lanterns.

This is my umpteenth playthrough but having just arrived at Beacon Hill and not started the Railroad quests, this is my first time running into... a guy who looks and sounds just like Deacon? Is that my guy?

I had to go to Andrew station to take out raiders that were antagonizing one of my settlements. When I entered the door at the bottom of the metro styled stairs, I found basically what inwould call a cave. Something similar to what the tunnels from the "big dig" looks like. I left and decided to come back to loot more and investigate the tunnels, but when I opened the doors everything was different. I'm now wandering through a metro station and there are new Raiders everywhere. Is the game messing with me? It's the exact same location, but completely different layout

What mods are you using to make the game a lot harder without turning the enemies into bullet sponges?

I've played fallout so much that even in survival mode it's still easy. Some of the mods I'm using to make the game more challenging are:

• War of the Wastes
• More Enemies
• No health scalling
• Higher prices (And still this one I wish it was waaay higher)

I used to use a mod that limited the max level but I really like the perks progression.

I also created some "rules" like not spending points in improving a SPECIAL trait, only in perks amb having the original SPECIAL I chose at the start.

But I don't know what else to do. The game is challenging to a point and then, suddenly it becommes esasy and all I do is travel across the Commonwealth and kill enemies with no effort.

So after killing Nisha at the Nuka-World Power Plant, I dragged her dead body all the way to Nuka-World Red Rocket and set this up.

beat the institute for the second time ever, went the brotherhood route

I was gonna go back for Valentine, I promise.

Things I like:

I like how when you're wandering the wasteland and you choose you side with the institute any synths you find will greet you with hospitality instead of aggression. Makes exploring locations like the mayoral shelter way easier to deal with.

I like how clean most of the institute looks, it has a very cool aesthetic, I also like the synth relay grenades the synths that spawn from them aren't particularly powerful but they're good at distracting enemies so I can get the Jump on them.

Things I hate:

I hate how vague their motives are while other factions have a defined goal, they seem to just be reclusive and cold. They seem very determined to conquer the Commonwealth but as soon as father relays above ground he deems it a lost cause.

They hate cats. Everyone knows this by now I'm sure, synths will go up to domestic housecats and open fire, you see cat corpses in the FEV lab, nothing explains this aggression, they just murder cats for the fun of it.

They have no regard for the notion that synths are more than machines, they made complex life and they treat them like slaves and wonder why so many escape, they don't dial back the gen 3 synths personalities or complexities they just assume everything can be fixed by dispatching a courser or two.

They kidnap settlers, not because they pose a threat, because they want to keep a closer eye on the Commonwealth, not like they have several servalance crows already, and the people who replace with synths.. there are heavy implications that these people have been experimented on, turned into super mutants or God knows what else.

When you side with the institute, there isn't really anything you can do. What I mean by that there's plenty of missed opportunities to actually control the institute, you still feel like a lacky instead of the guy in charge, plus the radiant quests that they have you do such as clear out gouls, talk to the synth larping as the mayor of diamond city, stuff like that are kinda lack luster. It would have made more sense if for example you had more missions like meeting up with coursers and retaining synths or looking in terminals in certain technology adjacent buildings and downloading schematics, similar to the finding brotherhood of steal documents but somewhat different to make it more interesting.

Last but not least: father, I don't like father all that, his personality is t nuanced, he can't be persuaded to feel any conflictimg emotions towards the institute which I feel is another huge missed opportunity, there could have been a few speach checks here and there. He has this cold hearted tisposition towards Nate/Nora that never changes, even on his deathbed. I get that he was raised by the institute, and was effectively brainwashed but he treats the main character like a pawn, watching your every move. The only reason he got you out of the vault wasn't out of the kindness of his heart but because he thinks it will be "interesting" to see what happened next. He also implied he fully expected you to perish not too long after leaving vault 111

Those are all my reasonings, I'm also kinda curious other people's opinions on the institute

just to save up for the overseers guardian, it's harder than I thought!

I forgot to add the white lines to the inner barrel due to time restraints & being heavily rushed. I'll be sure to add them at a later date.

Hello all,

In the next week or so I should have the 100% achievement completion done. I only have Railroad and BoS paths to finish. I've really been looking forward to playing the game with mods and this is around the 4th time I have gotten the 100% completion (mostly on PS4 until now), so could you people recommend the best mods for me to enjoy?

I really want to get into the settlement building so want all available content (I have all DLC's) so I can enjoy that with more than the base game content. I'd also like some new weapon designs as well as actual mod created missions that can be fully enjoyed on Series X without the Playstation limitations. I saw there are some cheat tools for all resources and pretty much any item you could want so that would be good too, but know nothing about this load order stuff. Oh and a major one I really want if its possible. Ability to remove almost everything from base game settlements like the broken houses and stuff like that.

Would appreciate any info you could provide.

Don't steal from Bunker Hill, everyone inside will turn hostile whether you are hidden or not

Start with Abernathy Farm for an early gun, outfit, and some food/junk.

The warehouse and resident houses in Diamond city are GOLDMINES for stolen shit. Ammo most of all, but stimpaks, molotovs, and the odd armour piece as well.

More as I come across them.

Hi! I've been seeing a lot of people complaining about the frame crashing all the time. However, I never had it crashing? For a while I tried some pirates version, then I bought the base game, and a couple of months ago I bought the Anniversary upgrade. I probably have a couple of hundred hours in the game by now. First I played on my old laptop on low settings, now I play it on Ultra on my newer workstation laptop.

So, realistically how unstable the game is? What could be the main issues that cause crashing; bad specs, mods or the gremlins?

Had to go there for the USS Constitution quest. The only way I made it fun was going up on the overpass, sniping the hell out of the outside raiders, sneaking in through the sewer pipe, and using the VANS perk to help me navigate through.
