I am finding myself side with the institute because railroad thinks synths are sentient beings. They are not. Synths are just advanced AI robots. Railroad is delusional. Should i side with institute because i find it more proper? Also i love teleporting back and forth from the institute.

Hi! I've been seeing a lot of people complaining about the frame crashing all the time. However, I never had it crashing? For a while I tried some pirates version, then I bought the base game, and a couple of months ago I bought the Anniversary upgrade. I probably have a couple of hundred hours in the game by now. First I played on my old laptop on low settings, now I play it on Ultra on my newer workstation laptop.

So, realistically how unstable the game is? What could be the main issues that cause crashing; bad specs, mods or the gremlins?

The lag has gotten pretty bad and idk what’s causing it. The game ran fine when I started my play through but recently it’s been super laggy even if I’m not in a heavy area like new Boston. It’s really taking me out of it and I really wanna keep playing. I’ve already altered the game settings to favor performance over visuals and made sure there aren’t any other games running in the background for quick resume. Any suggestions?

Hi, I’m at level 80 in this play through and had my home settlement in Far Harbor. I had 6 PA display cases and one PA station in the settlement. After returning from completing nuka world, 4 of the 6 PA suits are missing with their display cases empty, and the suit that was at the PA station is still standing there, but the station itself is gone. Any reason for this? No mods besides trophy friendly creation content, and no settlers at this settlement not even for a supply line.

I recently started another playthough of FO4. This is the first time I'll be picking the raiders and starting their conquest of the of the Commonwealth. I've already skipped the interactions with Preston in Concord, and just finished the mechanist quest line. Im doing vault 88 next, then Far Harbor, then onto Nuka World. I am only doing this so I can purchase 7.62 Ammo without having to go to Nuka World. Is there any other way, other than mods, to purchase 7.62 ammo in the commonwealth without taking the Raider's side?

After losing yet another good hour+ long chunk of gameplay (XBox One) due to another game crash, I think I've officially decided that Fallout 4 is too broken of a game to properly enjoy on a mode like Survival, where saving literally only happens when you sleep.

I had already lost over an hour yesterday, when I made the mistake last session of sleeping at Hotel Rexford, after clawing my way to Goodneighbor from Hangman's Alley. Every single time I left Goodneighbor, I couldn't even walk four feet without the game crashing. So I loaded a save from before I ever went to Goodneighbor, and lost every minute of progress between Hangman's and there, and everything I did while in Goodneighbor.

It crashed halfway through clearing out HalluciGen, twice. It crashes while you're doing settlement building, losing every single thing you just spent your time creating. It crashes going through random load cells.

I just cannot justify dumping hours into a mode that makes you earn everything you get, just for it to wipe the slate whenever it feels like it. It's too punishing and too time-consuming to continue. I've never been more frustrated with a game where my own lack of skill wasn't the underlying issue.

Survival lovers, PLEASE - help me love this mode. I've been dying for something akin to Fallout: New Vegas' hardcore mode, and this really felt like something adjacent. But, Jesus Christ, Fallout 4 makes NV look seamless and polished by comparison. It's insane. I never remember losing progress like this on NV, and Hardcore is the only way I played that game...

What mods are you using to make the game a lot harder without turning the enemies into bullet sponges?

I've played fallout so much that even in survival mode it's still easy. Some of the mods I'm using to make the game more challenging are:

• War of the Wastes
• More Enemies
• No health scalling
• Higher prices (And still this one I wish it was waaay higher)

I used to use a mod that limited the max level but I really like the perks progression.

I also created some "rules" like not spending points in improving a SPECIAL trait, only in perks amb having the original SPECIAL I chose at the start.

But I don't know what else to do. The game is challenging to a point and then, suddenly it becommes esasy and all I do is travel across the Commonwealth and kill enemies with no effort.

I want to know what is considered main game . I have the dlc and extra content should I delete the dlc and turn off creation club content and play that I want to get the trophy.

Father: Did he? Well he was correct. I was the pefect candidate, an infant with uncorrupted DNA but if something were to go wrong, if I died well the Institute realized a contingency plan was prudent. Another source of pre-war DNA, preferably related to their primary subject. It only made sense that my parents should fill that role. So you were kept alive and safe within the Vault.

It made so much sense to kill one of the parents with pre-war DNA.

How do I rank up fast so I can build more stuff?

In the next week or so I should have the 100% achievement completion done. I only have Railroad and BoS paths to finish. I've really been looking forward to playing the game with mods and this is around the 4th time I have gotten the 100% completion (mostly on PS4 until now), so could you people recommend the best mods for me to enjoy?

I really want to get into the settlement building so want all available content (I have all DLC's) so I can enjoy that with more than the base game content. I'd also like some new weapon designs as well as actual mod created missions that can be fully enjoyed on Series X without the Playstation limitations. I saw there are some cheat tools for all resources and pretty much any item you could want so that would be good too, but know nothing about this load order stuff. Oh and a major one I really want if its possible. Ability to remove almost everything from base game settlements like the broken houses and stuff like that.

Would appreciate any info you could provide.

I’ve walked in and out of diamond city hundreds maybe even thousands of times. I’ve probably spent a few real life days in the city over the years. Millions (but not many millions) of caps have been made there, dozens of big boys bought from Arturo every playthrough.

Even though I’ve done all this I just found the mega surgery center for the first time somehow, I never know this was here ever. I knew about the cellar because of the detective quest but somehow I just never found this one door in all of my playthroughs.
I just never ended up going down here because I always talked to Sun in the outside area I guess.

It really amazes me that even after this long there are still always things I find new about this game despite how much I thought I knew. It’s one of the reasons I love this game.

I reverted to a previous save and it’s fine now aside from some blue screens but then the General Atomics Factory is giving me the good old white wash effect that can only be described as unsettling. By the Emperor this has to stop.

Ps. Ik it isn't nuka-cola dark, haven't visited nuka world in this save.

I've never seen this before, even in years of playing this game. Did a railroad agent somewhere walk over a mine or something?
