Announced for next year, with such a boring t-shirt and hoodie, when the posters are right there screaming to be made into apparel. I would love to support Remedy with this T-shirt, man.

In the original Control, there’s a Dead Letters collectible called “White Kitchen,” written by Lorraine Fitzgerald. She describes a strange phenomenon in which she sometimes finds herself standing on dark stone beneath a completely white sky when she’s in her tiny kitchen.

In CONTROL Resonant, one of the Physicist’s audio logs features him getting increasingly frustrated with his neighbor, Mrs. Fitzgerald, who keeps knocking on his wall because he’s making too much noise.
The name Fitzgerald immediately reminded me of the letter from the first game. Could these two stories be connected?
I’ve seen people suggest that the Physicist discovered a way to create a portal to the Astral Plane, but I wonder if there’s another explanation.
My theory is that he didn’t create a portal. What if the apartment building itself is a Place of Power, with an existing connection to the Astral Plane? Lorraine appears to access this strange space through her kitchen, while the Physicist may have encountered the same phenomenon from his own apartment.
As a physicist, he tried to explain what was happening through scientific theories and research papers. Perhaps his ideas were dismissed as the ramblings of a madman, even though he was observing a genuine paranatural phenomenon.
That would fit the world of Control pretty well: something that sounds completely insane can turn out to be real.
If someone has already posted about this, sorry for the repost. I can imagine this might be an obvious connection for some players.

As someone else who suffers from epilepsy, seeing this in the game makes me truly appreciate the effort and attention to detail the developers have put into things like this.

So, thank you, Remedy, for this, and for not letting the "epilepsy warning screen" just disappear on its own, as happens in the vast majority of games.

Thank you for looking out for us a little bit more.

It throws some of the most insane fights towards you. You can see there were about half a dozen heavies at one point. Also cemented my hatred for the huge flying Hiss. Fun spectacle, but it sucks when they're the only enemy in the field. Half my fight was that Hiss, had to edit for brevity.

I can't find the post now, but somebody shared a picture of an apparent figure during the flashback scene in the Gap standing behind the Faden children. I thought it was just negative space being misconstrued as a solid form, a Rorschach of light and shadow.

I was wrong.

I rewatched the flashbacks and caught the figure for a couple frames: distinct, hands outstretched, two trails of light flowing from its eyes, robed, curling horns.

Which genius thought of it, so much changing angles and stuff and made me so dizzy but it is not a bad experience honestly, it really is one of a kind experience in games!

It makes me happy to know that Resonant’s record of fastest selling Remedy game is gonna be 100% broken once they release the Max Payne 1+2 remakes. That Rockstar clout is gonna have a ton more eyes on the studio, which will make AW3 or anything else Remedy makes after, sell like gang busters. Studio is finally gonna be thriving without having to worry about sales etc

I absolutely loved control resonant, but I just realized one incredibly important thing. We almost never hear Dylan's inner monologue! To me characters inner monologue is a part of remedy's game style and Quantum Break + Control + Alan Wake 2 were masterfully weaving them into the gameplay. But here in resonant we instead only talk to Zoe or out loud, which is a bit different imo. What do you all think?
