Erm I actually DO know why it tastes like vomit, Hershey puts vomit chemical in their stupid chocolate that I hate for no reason

41 u/Made_Bail 9h ago American chocolate is pretty gross compared to overseas. I didn't even realize until I tried Canadian, and hoooly shit. https://giphy.com/gifs/12zfAjyQ3RZNSw 8 u/Swift0sword 9h ago Wait, is Canadian Hersheys different to American? Coming from Europe I got used to Hersheys pretty quickly 10 u/Made_Bail 9h ago I didn't have Hershey in Canada, I can't remember the brand but it was something I've never seen in the US. I also miss Old Dutch chips. So bad. 7 u/Dramatic-Text8564 9h ago I live in Canada and I can confirm that the first time I tasted a Hersheys kisses I tought they were expired 3 u/Swift0sword 9h ago I'll just chalk this up as evidence for "I will eat literally anything that looks edible" then lol 1 u/broken_toyz_in_ON 8h ago The No Name milk chocolate bar from my local No Frills is my goto. As good as old school Cadbury. 5 u/GachaHell 9h ago It's different. Ours is more of a soft milky texture if you get the bar or a grainy dark chocolate if you get kisses. Source: many cross border trips back when I was trying to make it work with an American. Our KD is also vastly superior. 2 u/ptype 7h ago Our KD is also vastly superior. 95% of Americans are just gonna shrug at that statement because they have no idea what that means lol (Spoiler, it's Kraft Macaroni and Cheese) 1 u/mrs-monroe 9h ago Canadian chocolate is mostly shit. 17 u/shave_your_eyebrows Shave Your Eyebrows 9h ago Someone needs to give you a Tolberone go my fiery bulblax 17 u/Made_Bail 9h ago Im too poor to even look at toblerone https://giphy.com/gifs/La7P30FM3sTDrwntki 3 u/Huckleberry-9477 9h ago i freaking love toblerone. also quite fond of tony’s chocolonely, which i’ve been seeing recently 4 u/coolcoots 9h ago Tony’s Chocolonely with salted almonds and toffee is almost a sexual experience for me. 1 u/Orinoco123 7h ago Toblerone got sold and got moved out of Switzerland btw. Not worth it anymore. Also fun fact that's why they had to take the Matterhorn off thier label as it's not a swiss endorsed product anymore. 6 u/PotentialConcert6249 9h ago I had a similar experience when I tried some little chocolates during a trip to Mexico.
