Was visiting my dad the other day when I spotted this SGW-1000 in his watch case. He told me it was his daily watch for years when he was a firefighter/paramedic, and that I could have it. Gave it a good scrub, fresh battery and she's good as new! All the sensors work too!

I'm new to watches and recently bought a Casio A164WA-1VES. I was wondering if it's possible to fit an 18mm single-pass NATO strap to this model.

I've had it for a little over two weeks and it's only lost a second. The backlight is pretty bad but not as horrible as I assumed it would be. It's exactly what I needed simple and efficient.

Greetings! I recently came across an A159WA-N1DF at a very good price; since it’s "Made in Japan," I felt compelled to pick it up. Right around the same time, my eye caught the ABL-100—a model I’ve been keeping an eye on for a while now :) I’m currently torn between the version with the standard (positive) display and the one with the negative (inverted) display. I’d love to hear some input from other users. I already own an A168WGG with a negative display and haven’t had any major issues with it—and I should mention, I’m personally leaning toward the negative-display ABL-100 :) What do you think? Is there such a significant difference between the positive and negative displays that it should be a dealbreaker? I especially love how, on the negative display, only the text on the dial lights up in orange when the backlight is activated :)) I’d appreciate any feedback you might have—thanks! 🙏🏻

A168 and F105-W both modded with steel cases from SKX mod. Couldn't be happier with them honestly! I stuck to the OEM strap for the A168 and chose a SKMEI strap for the F105, im not 100% satisfied with how it sits though. Silver for leisure, black for work (dress code) Thoughts?

I got this email this morning.

Had to buy three different ones from estate sales to make one that is near perfect.

Those little c-clips that hold the buttons in are evil to set properly.

Somehow managed to get it without any bubbles. It was honestly really easy. I just had my mineral oil warmed (bowl of mineral oil in a bowl of warm water) so that it’s less viscous. Honestly beyond the superior viewing angle you can’t even tell there’s anything in it

I got this watch a week ago and maybe I'm a lot indoors but I for real thought it didn't had lume until I tested it by UV exposure and I saw it for the first time, the thing is that I love how it looks with lume but it fades away in around 20min and if I don't get to expose it too much to UV by wearing long sleeves or by being indoors I end up not even having the opportunity to see it.

Other than this pet peeve I have to say that I love the look & feel of this watch and if you don't care about lume yourself then this is a fantastic choice.

I love a digital watch. My goto is a Casio.

I was gifted a smart watch which i wear regularly for its festures but missed the old digital look, I figured i'd try to make it as 'Casio-like' as I could and made this watch face.

Anyone else wear digital style on a smart watch? Any recommendations?
