I really love the look of the gold & black style on the A168 and the EL lighting. The problem? I would like for it to have a "regular" color screen, not the "blackout" style it comes with. I was looking at the regular A168's, but their faceplates (afaik) dont come in black for the gold watch, only in gold. Aftermarket mod parts are not real Casio parts & Aliexpress faceplates dont have the Casio text but the fugly "Time" text in it's place.

Do you guys know if I can "reverse" the blackout on the screen or is my only option to install a Casio A168 insides into the Casio A168WEGB-1BEF?

Somehow managed to get it without any bubbles. It was honestly really easy. I just had my mineral oil warmed (bowl of mineral oil in a bowl of warm water) so that it’s less viscous. Honestly beyond the superior viewing angle you can’t even tell there’s anything in it

I recently got a Casio A168 and honestly, I

love the look and retro vibe of this watch... but the stock bracelet is absolutely brutal on my arm hair. It feels like a mini epilator pulling hair with every slight wrist movement, and it's driving me crazy!

Is there any quick trick or fix to stop it from pulling hair, or am I better off swapping the bracelet?

If I can't figure out a good solution, I'm planning to return it tomorrow. Would love to hear if anyone has managed to solve this or if you replaced the strap with something that keeps the vintage look

Guys i’m getting a casio gw5610u-1 but i can’t decide which color! it looks like the back round colors are different as well and idk if the black will be worse for viewing angles, even though i know they are both notorious for that. Thoughts?

I've had it for a little over two weeks and it's only lost a second. The backlight is pretty bad but not as horrible as I assumed it would be. It's exactly what I needed simple and efficient.

A168 and F105-W both modded with steel cases from SKX mod. Couldn't be happier with them honestly! I stuck to the OEM strap for the A168 and chose a SKMEI strap for the F105, im not 100% satisfied with how it sits though. Silver for leisure, black for work (dress code) Thoughts?

Was browsing the Casio website and saw they just released a new Duro! What do we think?
