built a self hostable ai support bot with an inbox and i love it

so i got tired of support chatbots that just make stuff up and helpdesks that take a week to set up, so i built my own. its called momo and the core is on github now.

basically you point it at your website or upload some docs, and it answers visitors from that. before it sends anything it checks the draft against your sources, and if its not sure it says so and passes the chat to a human instead of inventing a refund policy. theres an inbox built in where you can jump into any conversation, and when you reply you can hit one button to save that answer as knowledge so the bot knows it next time.

setup is docker compose up, it starts postgres, redis, web and a worker. single tenant, you bring your own model through openrouter, data stays on your server.

its the first version so dont expect too much yet. only a website widget for now, no email or slack, no api, one agent.

The holiday season is approaching — how are you planning to surprise your clients and business partners this year?

My team and I have been thinking that it’s about time to start planning Christmas gifts for clients and business partners 🎄

Every year, you want to come up with something a little more special than just another branded gift. Something that brings a genuine smile, pleasantly surprises someone, or leaves a lasting impression. Sometimes it’s something practical, sometimes it’s a creative and unexpected idea, and sometimes it’s the smallest gesture that people remember most.

We also really appreciate receiving thoughtful gifts from our own partners during the holiday season. We started reminiscing about gifts we’ve received over the years and how differently companies approach this tradition, which got us curious about how others do it.

How are you planning to surprise your clients and business partners this Christmas? Does your company have a tradition of giving holiday gifts? If you’ve already got some ideas, we’d love to hear them! And if you’d rather not share your plans just yet, we’d also love to hear about gifts from previous years — what has your company given, and what have you received that genuinely surprised you or stuck with you?

Business Credit Card - new owners

I sold my business about a year ago and we had a business credit card that the new owners were supposed to take over the debt unfortunately it was still tied to me and the new owners have said a year later. They’re not gonna accept the debt any more but unfortunately it’s like $80,000 so now they’re sticking me with $80,000. What experience? Or what should I do next?
