Legal Allahabad HC Allows Interfaith Couple to Marry Under Special Marriage Act Without Notice Publication, Objections
The Allahabad High Court recently allowed an interfaith couple to solemnise their marriage under the Special Marriage Act, 1954 without publication of the marriage notice or inviting objections, holding that the requirements under Sections 6 and 7 could be dispensed with in the peculiar circumstances of the case where the couple apprehended danger to their life and liberty.
The interfaith couple moved the high court seeking directions concerning solemnisation of their marriage under the Special Marriage Act, 1954. They stated that, both being adults, had been in a live-in relationship for two years. They also have a child approximately nine months old. Since, they profess different religions, they wanted to solemnise their marriage under the Special Marriage Act, 1954.
According to the couple, they apprehended danger to their life and liberty from their parents and relatives because they opposed their relationship. The mother of the female partner lodged an FIR, on June 26, 2025, under Section 140(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, at Police Station P.G.I., Lucknow. In the matter, the investigating officer subsequently recorded in a report that they were majors and were living together.

Rant Exposing a fake monk of jainism- sudha sagar maharaj
So basically, I live in Uttar Pradesh. In our area, there are mainly two religious communities: Jains and Yadavs. I’m Jain, by the way.
In our town, there are a lot of Jains, and many of them are quite wealthy and deeply devoted to Jainism. They strongly follow a Jain monk named Acharya Sudha Sagar Ji Maharaj. They believe in almost everything he says and are willing to do pretty much anything for him.
In Jainism, during the monsoon season, monks traditionally stay in one place for around four months. The idea is to avoid travelling during the rainy season because walking on the roads could unintentionally kill small living organisms. You know, “Ahimsa Paramo Dharma” and all that.
So, this monk happened to stay in our town. There is a very famous temple here called Chhetrapaal, which, from what I understand, was also built at his encouragement and with donations from his followers. The people here are so devoted that they actually ended up donating crores of rupees to build it.
My family is also very devoted to him, but honestly, I don’t believe in this man at all. My family initially decided that we would donate around ₹20 lakh to the temple. So they went to meet him, and apparently, he started convincing them that ₹20 lakh was a very small amount and that they should donate much more—at least ₹2 crore.
After a lot of discussion and persuasion within the family, they ended up donating ₹1.5 crore. 🙂
Like, aren’t monks supposed to give up attachment to worldly possessions and moh-maya? Then why does money seem to matter so much? And during his pravachans, he often tells people to donate whatever they can to temples if they visit them regularly, because they use the temple’s facilities, water, etc. Like, seriously? 🙂🙏
Second, when this man came to our town, he apparently told people that he should receive a grand welcome—with a Royal Enfield rally, elephants, horses, bands, and all that. And our town’s people were so devoted that they arranged around 10 elephants, several horses, a rally of around 30 Royal Enfield bikes, 12 DJs, and bands from different states. 🙂🙂
And then I’m just sitting there thinking: where is the renunciation? Where is the detachment from worldly possessions and moh-maya?
Honestly, Jainism started feeling like such a double-faced religion to me. I eventually stopped following it, and now I feel much more peaceful living life on my own terms. I enjoy my life, experience different things, and don’t feel guilty about what I eat anymore. I even eat chicken and mutton. 😋❤️
\#TL;DR
I grew up in a deeply religious Jain community, but over time I started noticing contradictions that made me question it.
My family donated ₹1.5 crore to a temple after initially planning to donate ₹20 lakh, while the monk emphasized donating more.
At the same time, his grand welcome involved elephants, horses, Royal Enfield rallies, DJs, and bands.
To me, it felt contradictory to preach renunciation and moh-maya while being surrounded by such wealth and extravagance.
So I stopped following Jainism and now prefer living life on my own terms.

Hindutva Perpetual Victimhood of Brahmins aka Hindus never stops
This Book is comparing Hindus (code for Brahmins) to Apartheid era South Africa during white minority rule.
When will their randirona stop? Never. It's funny however.
Odd day we are superior oldest civilization saar
Even day we are victims saar
.Truth is all of India's social cultural and even economic problems can be traced to the influence of Hinduism in this rotten society.

Hindutva Got banned from a RW sub for asking this under a post claiming the Manusmriti respects women: Why can a Brahmin man get away with RP*** a Kshatriya, Vaishya and Shudra woman, while a man from those castes can get his Dih chopped off for consensual s** with a Brahmin woman?

Superstition We want to live in harmony, but political leaders are repeatedly creating riots by instilling religion in our minds.
We are all Indians, so let's all try to remain Indians, not as people of any particular religion.

Hindutva AI Religious Sloppy Art with some bullshit quote is new brainrot
The prevalence of this shit on the internet is increasing day by day. Notice how they are trying to make violence cool. Also in the next breath they will say Hinduism is peaceful and non violent religion 🤣😂
P. S. Krishna never fought in the Kurukshetra War and Gandhari curses him in the end for his immoral ways. Guess Hindus never read their own scriptures because they are busy making new mythology.

Just saw this on insta and fell into a thought.
Isn't this a type of circus and entertainment only where the performer is performing some type of act to entertain the viewers.
The point here is that art is dependent on religion to get audience. A person doing this while wearing normal clothes might not get this much attention

Scripture Is this quote of Jinasena from the 9th century Rashtrakuta Kingdom, South India atheistic?
The Mahapurana is a Digambara Jain text written in the Rashtrakuta Kingdom of South India (Mostly Modern Karnataka, India)
Some would argue rejection of creator God and creationism but believing in other spiritual mumbo jumbo like karma would not make you atheist in the modern sense.
However I think this statement is quite atheistic for it's time. There were always people who found the whole idea of God/Gods absurd.

Discussion What do you guys think about the upcoming Ramayana film?
See, I know it's just a film, and probably a well-made one, with good VFX, good acting, and some basic things done right. But why are people so excited?
I mean, even as an atheist, can you understand why people are this excited? We don't believe in the Ramayana and its characters, so of course we won't be as excited about this one. But are you guys ever this excited about a film when the entire storyline, all the plot points, and every character arc are already so familiar to you? Can you ever go to a film just to see how well it's made rather than to find out what happens?
What do you think about a film potentially becoming the highest-grossing Indian film of all time when its plot, story, and characters are already known to everyone? Isn't the story the most important part of a film, rather than just the VFX, BGM, and stuff like that? Why don't people ever get tired of watching the same story over and over again?
I'm also hugely disappointed in Aamir, with his ultimate ambition being to make the Mahabharata. Seriously, man? Aamir is someone who has consistently strived to create good, new, creative, and thoughtful cinema. What is he going to offer that's new with the Mahabharata?
And the thing is, even though the characters and the setup are great, the makers have to make sure they don't deviate from the original source material, even to take a little creative liberty. Otherwise, they'll face huge backlash because people get offended by the tiniest things these days.
This was just about the film-watching POV. I'm also frustrated with everything surrounding the film's release.
First of all, the film is being marketed as "Our Truth, Our History." Seriously? Why is this everywhere nowadays?
The entire ecosystem feels like everyone is catering to them. Propaganda films are being made and promoted left, right, and centre; Ranveer visiting the RSS headquarters after D2's success; religious films making a fortune; most public figures seeming busy bootlicking; eggs being removed from mid-day meals in the name of religion; evolution being removed from textbooks. Everywhere I look, I see their ecosystem, and it's just so frustrating.
They're leaving no stone unturned in marketing this film, catering to religious people, getting MrBeast to chant "Jai Shri Ram", and presenting the film as some kind of divine experience. And people will probably buy into it.
I know all art is political, and everyone is well within their rights to create and watch such films. But when is this going to end? Will it ever?
Let me know what you guys think about the points I've raised.

Islamism What are your thoughts on Quran chapter 9 verse 5?
This is the most common verse cited from the Quran to show that Islam encourages violence against non Muslims. Muslims argue that there's a context behind it, some war or something. Not a general divine command.

Casteism Casteist abuse against Abhijit Dipke by Sanatanis and why Hinduism (Brahminism) cannot be reformed only rejected
So Abhijit Dipke is a Navayana Ambedkarite Buddhist. His ancestors the Marathi speaking Mahars gave up their Hindu caste identity and do not identify with Hinduism ie Brahminical religion now
Whatever maybe your views on the CJP but he is the only one who still gets casteist abuse though there are other leaders of the CJP like Saurav Das, Ashutosh Ranka and a host of others.
Sanatanis may talk english even pretend to be atheist but can never get caste out of their head. I still say Hindu Rashtra is just Brahmin Rashtra
.
Forget scheduled castes even other non brahmins are lower in the caste hierarchy to Brahmins. I still don't understand how any non brahmin accepts this degradation which is theologically justified
They have no self respect.

Discussion How to debunk the arguments like context and old morality concept?
Like whenever someone says something controversial written in book
The argument was that the context matter.
Also when you talk about aisha marriage they say you cannot compare morality based on today's society to a 1400 year old society
Please what are your ways to debunk this.
