What’s one thing you’d change about Vancouver’s transit system?

One problem I keep running into is limited bus capacity downtown, especially on the 250. When it’s busy, I can wait around half an hour just to get on a bus, since the first few pass by full. To be fair, Vancouver has a lot going for it too. The Canada Line and the RapidBus routes are convenient and make getting around much easier. What would you change? Whether it’s routes, frequency, or something else entirely, I’d love to hear your experiences.

Hello! My husband and I (32M, 31F) are coming to vancouver for our wedding anniversary and are wondering what we can go do. We won't have a car to drive but we got a hotel off granville st so we are right downtown.

I have a knee injury from this summer so that takes out any nice hikes and we did the aquarium 4 years ago but nothing really else. When we come to vancouver its to hangout at The Moose, go to a concert then take the ferry home.

Any suggestions would be nice and appreciated ♡

EDIT * OMG yes sorry some things about me and my husband, we both love breweries, rock & roll (hense our love for the moose) we both love trying new food. Maybe some resturant reccomendations?(we enjoy everything) We are both rather shy but love exploring whether thats in nature or checking out some hidden gem shops and windowshopping.

Looking for some advice!

I’m 21 and currently taking a couple gap years. I am planning on going to BCIT but the problem is I haven’t decided what to take. I saw their power engineering program and it seemed like a pretty solid choice so I was wondering if it’s worth it? At least just for my first career to get my foot out the door?

In terms of what I would like doing, I am more interested in the arts, specifically film production. I thought about taking tv, film and video production in bcit but I’m just unsure about how good the job prospects are and I’m really hoping to develop some financial independence as soon as I can so I can also help pay the rent & bills for my mom.

So if anyone has any idea or knowledge, is power engineering worth it? How’s the hours and pay? What’s the day to day like? Are there any prominent issues with gender discrimination in the field? (Since I’m a girl and I’m assuming most trades are male dominated)

I found hundreds of these white spots on the inside my car door seam. They were on every door including the trunk. They are the size of a grain of rice, firm, and took a lot of force to remove. When I was wiping them off some would get crushed and stained the cloth I was using with a green slime.
