Bought an m2 iPad air for my brother and the order is currently out for delivery via FedEx. I get an email notification that says my order was refunded, reason: customer return. I haven't even touched the Amazon app since I purchased the ipad and my brother hasn't either. I thought the email was a scam so I checked the app and I see there is a refund. Not sure what to do, I still haven't gotten the iPad so I'll update later today.

Update: Got my order delivered by FedEx. Unusually small package. It was some cheap Bluetooth earbuds with an apology letter from the seller saying the item was out of stock. :(

Earlier today my wife ordered a bunch of groceries through Prime Grocery. Around 7:30 pm we get a delivery notice. Checked the porch but nothing there. Check the order online and they have a nice picture of a house that is clearly not ours. It's also no house in our neighborhood.

Contact support and their helpful advice is "oh, sometimes we deliver to the wrong house. Drive around the neighborhood and see if you can find the house we delivered it to". Again, it's definitely NOT a house in our neighborhood. Their next piece of advice was "just wait a while. Maybe the people will see it on their porch and deliver it to your house tonight or sometime tomorrow".

It's groceries. It's not a pair of shoes or paper towels. It's milk, eggs, bananas, etc. Your solution to my misdelivered groceries is to have them sit on someone's porch overnight and hope they deliver my now-warm milk and eggs sometime tomorrow?

I'm really surprised like wtf? is it safe to keep it? I blocked my debit card so I don't get charged more than what I paid for.
Did it happen with someone else?

Edit 2: I reported the debit card as lost so it gets permanently suspended and I won’t get charged by Amazon.

Edit 3: I couldn’t sleep before I open the box to be sure it’s working and yes I was able to activate it successfully.

I received a charge for an amount that didn't match anything I ordered so I initiated a chat with a live representative. I asked what the charge was for and they replied that it was for Prime membership. I was just charged $14.99+tax on 10/13. I check the Amazon website and Prime was still $14.99. I confronted the rep and she passed me off to another rep and another and another until I asked for a manager. One of the reps offered me a $50 promo, but would not answer my questions about the charge or the blatant lie that I was told.

Manager tells me the charge was from an item I ordered, but the relevant charge did not match the price of the item. I decide to let that go because the price would be lower and I asked over and over about the lie I was told about Prime going up. When he finally addressed the lie all he could say was, "it will be handled, I assure you." or words to that effect. Yeah, sure. So I complain that not only did I have to talk to 4 reps and a manager before I got an answer, but I was lied to as well. I asked what is Amazon going to do about my extreme dissatisfaction over being lied to. He asked what I wanted. I thought about the $50 credit that was offered and I said to double it. The manager said he did not have the authority to offer compensation. But, a lower non-manager rep could offer me $50? So, they want me to believe that a regular rep has the authority, but not a manager. I would like to point out that the manager offered me nothing at all. I don't think I got an apology either.

Avoid Amazon like the plague. I have wasted about 2 hours dealing with this BS. Customer service has dropped significantly over the years. I am finally done with Bezos and company. I should have dropped them years ago. My bad. I did not receive anything from Amazon, not the $50 or $100. I got the "my hands are tied" line. Did I mention the bot chat loop I got stuck in while trying to get a real person? So infuriating.

Delivery delayed a day because Amazon was “unable to access” their own outdoor locker outside a 7 Eleven.

Already cancelled Prime last week (still active another week) because I’m getting 7-day “Amazon Day” shipping at my new house where I can only get packages lumped together and delivered on one day a week. So if I order something today it will come in 7 days, but if I order something else 5 days from now it will come in that same box, so clearly they CAN deliver in two days.

I can get next day shipping to this Amazon locker but it’s ALWAYS full so I waited a day checking frequently until it finally let me order to the locker but I’m guessing it was still full.

Was ordering a laser level as I was hoping to do some work around my new house tonight and tomorrow.

I know I'm not alone in this as I've seen many other posts about Amazon delays and how things seem to be getting worse. I've always loved Amazon Prime and their quick shipping. Never really had a problem and it was super rare if an item was delayed. The last six months or so though? Holy hell what on Earth is going on and what am I paying $14.99 a month for? I feel like half my orders end up delayed. I know overnight shipping is basically a thing of the past, but two day shipping was ok. Now that is basically out the window.

The item above was ordered one week ago today with a Prime 2 day delivery scheduled date of Friday October 9th. Later that very night I got a notification saying how the delivery date would now be MONDAY October 12th. Seemed like a classic bait and switch. Customer service chat acted naive and dumb and offered a $5 promo. Then, SUNDAY came and we have another delay. Now expected Wednesday October 14th (today). Item still hadn't even shipped by Monday night. Item finally ships Wednesday morning (today) and then about an hour ago I get a notification that it will be delayed due to a "late arrival at an Amazon facility". On top of all of this, I have two other orders I am expecting out of THREE that are now also delayed, though not delayed as long as this item in the photo has been.

This has been the new normal for me and Amazon for months now. I live in a town not too far outside NYC. Again, never had any major problems before. So, does anyone know the details as far as what is going on here? Is this just the beginning of the end and Amazon has gotten too big for its own good? Currently I have requested a refund for this months Prime membership. First time I've ever done that, but really, I just want my items to arrive when they said they would.

So sick of Amazon. Every time I order something with next day delivery it’s ALWAYS late. Also, there’s no way to get in touch with an actual person in customer service to complain about this ongoing issue. So done with them.

I ordered a Kindle Scribe (2024) from Amazon.de. Initially, they promised to deliver it on October 16.

On September 29, its status changed to delivered, even though I had received nothing. The website says that it was delivered in Berlin, Germany. IN BERLIN, GERMANY! I will attach a photo. The thing is, I don't live in Berlin or in Germany. I live in Lahti, Finland.

I immediately contacted customer service and explained that the Kindle was marked as delivered even though the delivery address was incorrect and I had never received it. They told me to wait until October 15 and said that representatives of the delivery company would contact me within two days. Of course, nobody contacted me.

Today, October 15, I contacted them again. Now the chat assistant says it is transferring me to another associate, but I have been waiting for hours and can see the message “Connecting you to an associate...” on the screen, and nobody responds.

I understand that if the tracking information showed that the item had been delivered to my address and I insisted that it hadn't, there might be doubts about my honesty. But the item was never even in my country. It travelled from Spain to Germany, and it was delivered there. Anyone with eyes can see that. I don't live in Germany or Spain, and I have never been to either country.

Now I can neither get a refund nor receive my e-reader.

P.S. Tracking number: HX405001893JF, the tracking website even shows the recipient’s name, and it isn’t me.

P.P.S. They delivered the charger and the case quickly and without any problems, but what am I supposed to do with them without the Kindle?

So i bought this car charger for my phone, and the first time i get sent the charger with one of the ports damaged and not working.

Okay, a faulty unit, I return it, buy it again because i can't find something similar, and they send me back the one i returned.

I paid $80 for a blanket. It got delayed three days then when it showed up it was terrible quality. It was all but falling apart and wasn't even stitched together properly. I opened a return and since it was a bit package they offered me a partial refund of $3.81. really?!?! On an $80 item?!?!. Nope they can pay the return shipping and give me all my money back. What a joke.

EDIT: People telling me to "just return it." Or "stop crying" are missing the point. I do plan on returning it for a full refund. The point is they are using this as a manipulative action to try to get people to keep terrible quality/broken items. Offering less than 5% discount is outright insulting. And the way it happens is super tricky. They take you away from the page that shows the cost your spent on the item and then right as you are about to choose the return option (UPS drop off, Whole Foods drop off, No box/label. With box/label etc.) this pops up looking like it's part of the return. I almost hit accept because I actually thought it was asking me to verify my return option. If I hadn't been paying super close attention it would have gotten me.

But the other issue is they are knowingly selling terrible products and thinking it's ok to give such low partials that you might as well just keep the item at full price and it's coming from a multi billion dollar company.

I'm done. After 17yrs, I just cancelled my Prime subscription and closed my account. The past several months have been nothing but a comedy of errors. Receiving used/defective merchandise, packages that went 'missing' or undelivered, customer service that's completely gone to shit, shipment delays, billing issues, the list goes on and on. Dunno what happened and why, however Amazon is no longer the same company it was 20yrs - or even 10yrs ago... Not by a long shot.

Ordered 2 Water Filters, realised after 5 days they had not turned up but everything else had.

Ipsy recently started having Amazon do some of their deliveries… and this was delivered to the ramp of the shed on the very edge of my property. Opposite side of the property from my front door or driveway.

I had something delivered today and looking at the photo receipt it shows that my “package” was delivered to a neighbor. I went to said neighbors place and I saw that package. As I picked it up, I noticed that the package has someone else name and address on it…what do I even do about that? I didn’t take a closer photo of the “package” that was supposedly mine according to my delivery photo as I felt weird taking a photo with someone else’s info on it…plus there were people around and I did NOT want to look like a creep.

It looks like Amazon is a Goodwill with a delivery option right now. Received today in a clear bag with LPN sticker on it (that means it was unpacked by previous customer and returned back). Small holes everywhere. 6th return during 1 month because of quality, delays and mismatch issues. Great job, guys!

PS: canceled Prime at least till end of 2026. Will order for pickup from a nearby Walmart (they sell online the same and a pick up available the same day and return can be done immediately on spot without an additional road trip). At least I will put money aside without so easy ordering.

For example, item shows next day if you order within 6 hours. Check back an hour or so later, showing two day delivery if you order within 3 hours. I recall it flipping back on other listings, thought maybe it was the typical sales push to get you to feel rushed. But does it just calculate based on same day warehouse volume? Possible that it usually flips back to next day, or once it pushes to two day does it just keep jumping forward even before their dumb timers run out?

So summary is ordered s26 ultra on 8th ie first day of prime sale for 1.24 lakhs paid via amazon icici card … normal delivery was shown on monday. Now on Monday morning it was stated that it reached to my nearest hub .

And went out for delivery near 10 pm but never came .. and it got rescheduled to 14th ie Wednesday
On Tuesday nothing happened and support continuously said sorry it will be delivered in 24 hours , on Wednesday also nothing happened so Wednesday evening after complaining and complaining amazon agent finally told he doesnt have package and wont be able to deliver do whatever you want…. And yesterday ie Thursday l1 and l2 support also said similar that package is lost we wont be able to do anything cancel order or money will be stucked in loop.

Please help me what to do i have every proof ie ss pf invoice payment details seller details etc
