Hey guys! I recently bought an 07 Honda Accord EX 2.4L, and it’s been going through an insane amount of oil. Me and my SO went on a road trip and ended up going through about 11qts in around 2k miles… so yeah…. I also recently did an oil change and 270 miles later there was basically no oil in it. There are no signs of leaking or burning, so not quite sure what’s going on. It does have 224,000 miles on it, but even with it being that high, it shouldn’t be going through that amount of oil. Oil does seem to get pretty dirty pretty quickly, and I do think there is some sludge in the system as well. Does anyone know what I can check, or do, or literally anything to try and get this diagnosed and fixed?

EDIT: no blue smoke out of exhaust, no smoke in general, no leaks on the ground.
We did do a compression test and got like 190, 190, 175, and 180 (not in that order)

I’ve got 215,000 miles on my 16’ ex with the cvt, haven’t done the trans fluid since I bought the car with 60,000 miles. Curious what people’s thoughts are on that, seems to shift fine and still gets me where I need to.

I’m also looking for motor mounts and am leaning towards oem. I recently replaced the front shocks and rears with KYB shocks along with moog sway bar end links and o reillys ball joints that I plan on replacing before winter with another brand I haven’t decided.

I want to do the tie rods as well(never done them on any car before so we’ll see how it goes) although I’m unsure if I should go oem with that or not.

It also sounds like my exhaust manifolds heat shield vibrates every time I start the car or am idling at a very low rpm(like when the ac compressor kicks on and drops the rpm lower than it typically idles)

Any advice on the tasks at hand or brands would be greatly appreciated!

Just got my first car, I don't know much about its specs, all I know is that it's a good car, but was wondering about speaker sizes.

Dad tested the speakers and found out the ones I have are blown out, so I need new ones. I'm a bit of an audiophile and prefer my music detailed... So I also need some quality speaker brands as well.

Hey all, can anyone help me with figuring out how I can go about updating the GPS on my 2022 Honda Accord, I Have installed and reinstalled the Garmin Express app and I still get an error message about communication issues with the servers. I even tried to run the app as an Administrator to no avail. I would even be willing to pay for an updated map if I could. I know I can use Google maps through Android Auto but want to have my Garmin maps available as a back up. Any help and guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 2008 Honda Accord V6 4-Door! It’s a great vehicle and has treated me well. It is a 18 year old car!

My ABS + VSA + Parking Break “LIGHTS” are on the Dashboard (See Picture) The diagnostic I received is the ABS/VSA Module is needing to be replaced. My mechanics stated this is an issue with the 8th Generation Accord. The cost of the repair is quite large.

My question: Can I still drive the 2008 Honda Accord in the Canadian Winters with the issues I spoke of: ABS/VSA Module.

The passenger side headlight assembly died today on our 2024 Accord. Low beams, high beams, turn signals, etc are all dead.

We have an appointment at the dealer tomorrow to have them look at it.

Fortunately we are still in the 3/36 warranty period as the part alone is almost $1000 from the local independent Honda shop.

Was merging lanes going around an uphill curve and ran over a shredded tire in between both lanes and bent the front underside bumper and the middle left splash guard cover fell off being held only by what seems to be 2 components, had to drag it roughly 15ish miles to do things that needed to be done.

I bought some pins at autozone to try and put it back but the pins are too small, i finally found the local honda dealerships carries the flange nuts and pins that will hold them together but there are zero videos online about how to reinstall it unless I'm just blind and can't find one. Anyone able to guide me in the right direction?

Honda dealer was charging me 3500 for a turbo replacement. Car was driving fine so I told them to hold off. AutoZone ran their scanner and found these codes. Is there another fix or is a turbo replacement the only option? This would be for a 2019 accord base.
