What was the Manor before being abandoned

I wonder who used to live here in the abandoned manor mansion before it was abandoned long ago? Did some of the Hyrule Family used to live here? Or some rich family?

This abandoned manor does remind me of Lugi's Mansion 2 in some way especially the ghosts. But it looks more serious and darker of course.

I do like how OoT Remake is shaping up to be a much darker game more intone with the original N64 version.

But does anyone know who used to live in this manor before it was abandoned long ago? The manor looks very beautiful and elegant but now being abandoned it looks very foreboding especially that red room area of the manor.

Zelda Posting every day until Ocarina of time comes out. day 37: Barinade

has your enormous fish god become irritable as of late? has he started to eat everything you put in front of him? did he even eat your princess? sounds like the giant fish you worship for some reason may have come down with a bad case of Barinade. Barinade is a parasitic anemone that has a symbiotic relationship with Jellyfish creatures called Bari. it's like they always say, when life gives you Bari you make Barinade.

try asking your doctor about hero of time. hero of time works from the inside, making his way through your goofy fish deity while attacking all parasites before arriving at Barinade. Hero of time works fast, destroying Barinade with his boomerang (boomerang sold separately) and saving your princess while he's at it.

side effects may include nausea, internal stab wounds from the hero's sword, loss of your royal family's spiritual stone, and the princess falling madly in love with the hero. hero of time does not prevent your huge fish god from going missing in the event of your entire civilization freezing over. ask your doctor if Hero of time is right for your divine fish freak.

I love how the Potion Shop Owner, his animation is so funny and wacky, love his personality over the top attitude freaking out over his lost bug and asks Link to catch it. There is so much loved put into this Remake.

Did Ocarina of Time pull a Hollow Knight?

The newest Zelda video showcases a unique feature we hadn't seen before: the Hall of Fallen Foes which really brings Hollow Knight's Pantheon to mind. It even has a timer! Do you think they'll add a boss rush mode as well?

Replaying Majora and some other N64 games and now I can't stop thinking bout button layouts please help

I would buy an OG or 8-Bitdo controller, but I don't got the money so I'm stuck with Switch controller

Been thinking alot about a layout that might get close enough, but the only things I'm sure about are:

1] C-Directions should be mapped to Right Analog AND each be mapped to a Button, since most games ain't designed for dual analog

2] I really like having C-Left and C-Right on the bumpers, 'cause it feels better to turn the Camera like that in SM64 rather than tapping the stick, but that layout may not be for everybody

3] L button rarely gets used, so it's fine if it gets mapped to Stick-Click or something

4] B on the Left and A on the bottom is more accurate, but keeping it how it is on Switch controllers is fine. Less objective improvement and more personal preference

What do you think though?

A new generation can now enjoy OoT Remake

• Upvotes

It's great that a new generation can now enjoy OoT for their first time.

I know most of us Millennial Generation have kids, sadly I don't have any children so I won't be able to let my kids play and experience OoT Remake. Maybe one day I have kids and they can enjoy and play the Remake.

But for now I am going to buy and play OoT Remake for myself. Yes a 39 year old mature adult playing a Nintendo game for himself a adult...... But you can all judge me all you like, I am going to be enjoying OoT Remake as that is my most favourite video game ever.

I don't care what my generation has to say about me prejudging me for playing OoT Remake and playing Nintendo Switch 2 as a adult and I don't even have kids and call me werid and immature and say a adult of my age of 39 years old should stay away from kids just because I am still into Nintendo as a mature adult, and saying a adult my old age of 39 years old should be doing more adult activities like reading books.

When I have daughters one day I will let them play OoT Remake damn it!!!! But for now I want to enjoy It myself without people calling me a pedo just cause I enjoy playing Nintendo Switch 2 as an adult of 39 years old.

If I ever babysit kids (which I am not a babysitter) I will babysitter little girls and they can enjoy playing OoT Remake. But I am not doing that because I want to enjoy playing it myself for now.

I read a reddit post just now saying no adults should be playing Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 or any Nintendo system as it's for kids and any adult who plays Nintendo will be prejudged as creepy as Nintendo is a kids system.

Us Millennials grew up playing the snes, n64 in our childhood during the 90s and Ocarina of Time means a lot to us. We shouldn't be judge wanting to play the Remake as mature adults now. But there are some people who will judge us and I don't like that, they will call us a pedo if we enjoy playing Switch 2 as a adult.

I get deeply affected when people prejudge me as they don't know me at all.

But one day when I have kids (I want daughters) they will be playing OoT Remake and then who will be laughing now, I will laugh in those people's faces and say "Well I have kids now so it's OK for me to own a Switch 2 because my kids can play it and it's not for myself"
