The combat patrol mag has reached chaos, and who is more chaos than Word Bearers?

Attempted some OSL with a makeup sponge. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet...

Hello everyone, recently I got the murderwing kill team and wanted to convert them into word bearers.

I really wanted to push myself to make something I was really proud of, and so far I am, there’s just a couple problems: it’s not as dramatic as I’d like (I know it’s unfinished) and it doesn’t give word bearer as much as I’d hoped.

What are some things I could change/lean into to make these guys “pop” on the tabletop?

Also any base ideas are welcome too!

In the past I really enjoyed following the adventures of Marduk especially when he had Slaanesh literally coming through him. That was a wild read!

Is there some good books or lore sources around other Dark Apostles and the Dark Council?

I really like when it talks about like mysticism type stuff, esoteric rituals, again when Marduk was doing all the various things before they did the ritual ending him and resurrection on him.

That kind of stuff is peak for me.
