The combat patrol mag has reached chaos, and who is more chaos than Word Bearers?

As is tradition, throwing myself on the sub-reddit to judge my red.

Hello everyone, recently I got the murderwing kill team and wanted to convert them into word bearers.

I really wanted to push myself to make something I was really proud of, and so far I am, there’s just a couple problems: it’s not as dramatic as I’d like (I know it’s unfinished) and it doesn’t give word bearer as much as I’d hoped.

What are some things I could change/lean into to make these guys “pop” on the tabletop?

Also any base ideas are welcome too!

Thank you

In the past I really enjoyed following the adventures of Marduk especially when he had Slaanesh literally coming through him. That was a wild read!

Is there some good books or lore sources around other Dark Apostles and the Dark Council?

I really like when it talks about like mysticism type stuff, esoteric rituals, again when Marduk was doing all the various things before they did the ritual ending him and resurrection on him.

That kind of stuff is peak for me.

Attempted some OSL with a makeup sponge. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet...

Hey all, so fairly new to Horus Heresy and looking through Wahipedia I was wondering how well Ashen Circle are on the table?

Kinda comparing them to Elite Assault squads and them only being one wound each aside they seem overall better but wanna know what more experienced players think.

Many thanks.
