Dirtsheets Montez Ford got Syed by A Sheriff Officer for a “sexualized lap dance”

Post image
214 Upvotes

Remember earlier this year when then-WWE Tag Team Champion Montez Ford danced in the direction of a security guard during his entrance.

You might not. But that guard never forgot. It turns out the guard was a Cook County Sheriff's Officer and he interpreted Montez Ford's movements as a "sexualized lap dance".

According to Post Wrestling, the guard is now suing Ford and WWE for airing the clip of the incident that took place in the Allstate Arena, in Rosemont, Illinois in July.

Tatum Paxley Credits STARDOM’s Suzu Suzuki For Inspiring ‘Cemetery Drive’ Finisher

“The finish, I had seen a wrestler — who goes by Suzu Suzuki — pull it out… When I had seen that move, I had not been so drawn to a move that heavy before. I had to take inspo from it, and I even tried different variations of my current finish. No matter what I do, I have to add this twist into it. It has to have this twist, and I just worked out on it for such a long time and then when I finally got to pull it out, I was like, ‘Yeah, this is perfect.’ It’s one of those things you look at and you’re like, huh!? That’s what I want people to think when they see me so my finish works really well with that.”

Discussion Crazy speculation about WarGames & 946

What if Solo is actually the mastermind behind 946, and his reunion with the Bloodline is all an act to get revenge on Roman?

At WarGames, he reveals himself as 946's fifth man instead of the Bloodline's, turning it into a 5v4 and finally defeating Roman and the Usos.

Roman Reigns addresses criticism surrounding his schedule:

“Now with my schedule, people will pick on it, but they don't remember from 2012 to 2018 when I was doing 150, 200 shows a year, every single year, just working my ass off — But we're just at a business model where TV rights are TV rights. And there's just so much money on the line that we got to that point where it's just like, it doesn't make sense for me to do live events anymore. What if I got hurt? — There's so much money that's riding on Mondays and Fridays and our PLEs now that I can't just go out there and wrestle for 4,000, 5,000 only, just for those eyes only. Now, I got to conserve it.”

Moderator Post MAJOR SUBREDDIT ANNOUNCEMENT: New Rules + Flairs

Hello [r/WWE](r/WWE)!

For a while now, our rules have been years outdated and unclear to many users. We've taken the time to rewrite the rules to offer more clarity. If you are a frequent contributor here, we advise you look into these new rules, as they will be enforced.

The main things you should know:

- Anniversary posts now have restrictions. They will be classified under "low-effort" unless something else is provided with them, such as a highlight or news update.

- Cracking down on image spam. Rule 4 talks about this--- we will be trying to have less image spam in the subreddit, meaning random images that don't actually contribute to the core of the post are likely to be removed.

- Speculation is now heavily watched. Following Benjamin Satterly's death, we had a lot of users coming to us about how users were making asinine claims about how he died with little-to-no evidence. This is talked about in Rule 6.

- Funny posts are fine! They've actually always been allowed, but Rule 8 now clarifies what distinguishes a shitpost from a generally humorous post.

- Politics are still disallowed, with more clarity now. Rule 11 goes into what kind of political discussion is allowed and staying relevant to WWE.

- Rules 14 and 15 are new. Rule 14 is designed to encourage users to offer real criticism instead of coming here to blindly hate WWE (because then why are you here?) and to make this feel like an actual fan subreddit. Rule 15 talks about reliable sources and ensuring that blatantly false news doesn't get reposted here.

FULL RULE LIST AS OF 10/15/2026

  • RULE 1: Follow Reddit Sitewide Rules

All Reddit sitewide rules and policies apply on r/WWE.

Please remember there is a person behind every account and participate respectfully.

  • RULE 2: Spoiler & Live Show Policy

Any posts that reveal results or storyline developments must be marked as a spoiler for 24 hours after the end of the show.

POST TITLES: Do not include or imply results, surprises, or outcomes in title. Details are allowed in the body or images.

Content based on future airings or leaks must clearly indicate this in the title ("Future Spoilers").

Live reactions and discussion belong in the live megathreads. Exceptions for meaningful news or announcements.

  • RULE 3: Why Can't I Post?

All posts on r/WWE require manual approval before appearing on the subreddit.

This system is in place to prevent unmarked spoilers, low-effort content, and sexualized or off-topic posts from reaching the feed.

If your post does not appear immediately, there is nothing wrong with your account. Please be patient— posts are reviewed as moderators are available.

  • RULE 4: Quality Control

Posts should contribute to the subreddit and encourage discussion.

Low-effort content will be removed. This includes posts that offer little effort such as one-line "thoughts?" or "who wins?" posts.

Images should be necessary to the post. If the post would be the same without the image, leave it out. Graphics are welcome.

Certain frequent questions may be removed at moderator discretion.

Buying/Selling is strictly disallowed.

News posts will only be allowed by the first poster.

  • RULE 5: Respect the Community

Treat other users with respect and participate in good faith.

Personal attacks or harassment toward other users are not allowed. Disagreement is fine — focus on the discussion, not the person.

  • RULE 6: Respect the Performers

Hate-based, dehumanizing, or abusive commentary is not allowed. That means no treating performers as less than human. The same applies to anyone else involved in WWE.

Speculation about a performer's private life is not allowed. Don't share rumors or theories about serious personal issues, or a death. Publicly documented history is fine, but not presented as a confirmed explanation until a reliable source speaks out.

When a performer passes away, please be respectful of their those around them.

  • RULE 7: Sexualized Content

r/WWE is a SFW discussion subreddit. While WWE programming has historically included sexualized presentation, this subreddit is not a space for sexual content.

Discussion or critique of on-screen presentation, attire, storylines, or WWE's history is allowed. However, posts or comments that focus on performers' bodies for sexual appeal, repost thirst traps, or make explicit sexual remarks are not allowed.

This applies equally to all performers, regardless of gender or on-screen presentation.

  • RULE 8: Memes, Humor, and Games

r/WWE allows humor, satire, and lighthearted discussion related to WWE.

However, meme posts, image macros, or template-based content should be posted to r/WWEMemes instead. This includes formats designed primarily for quick reactions or upvotes rather than discussion or "interactive game" content that happens over several posts.

Jokes, humorous observations, or satirical posts that encourage conversation are welcome. This isn't a game subreddit either, so video game content goes to r/WWEGames.

  • RULE 9: No Streaming Sites/Tech Support

Per Rule 1, piracy and illegal streams are not allowed. Do not link to, name, or ask for unofficial or pirated streams.

Discussion of legal viewing options is fine, including VPNs and regional availability.

r/WWE is not a tech support subreddit. Posts about problems with your own streaming service, app, or device will be removed. Moderators and users can't fix account or connection issues.

Looking for how to watch? Check our wiki. It answers common questions about where to watch WWE locally.

  • RULE 10: Self Promotion Policy

Do not use r/WWE to promote your own content. Posts that link to outside material you made are not allowed. Relevant sharing in replies is fine.

Content from WWE itself is fine to share. Clips from broadcasts are limited to a single segment.

Original content is welcome when it's made for the community. Videos must be under 3 minutes. Spammy content, including repeated posts of your own work, may be removed.

Watermarks are fine as long as they don't meaningfully obstruct what's being viewed.

  • RULE 11: No Politics

r/WWE is a wrestling discussion subreddit. Political discussion is not allowed, even when there is loose connection to WWE.

Anything political that appears directly on WWE programming is fair to discuss. Keep the discussion about what happened on the show.

The other exception is when politics directly affects WWE, such as Mick Foley ending his WWE Legends deal over WWE's political affiliations.

Any political discussion that does occur must follow Rules 5 and 6.

  • RULE 12: Megathreads

When a major event occurs, megathreads may be created to keep discussion organized.

All related discussion should be kept in the megathread. Individual posts are allowed if they contribute meaningful updates on the event. This rule stays in effect until the megathread is unpinned. In general, any pinned post is a megathread.

This rule does not apply to weekly shows and PLEs, including their pinned live and post-show threads, which fall under Rule 2.

  • RULE 13: Other Promotions

Other promotions, including AEW, can be brought up, but the main focus of a post should stay on WWE. Legitimate comparisons and talent moving between companies are fine. This generally does not apply to comments minus trolling.

Trolling or baiting other users with comparisons will not be tolerated. Users who appear to be here only to troll, rather than as fans of WWE, may be banned.

Discussion of old/defunct promotions that were related to WWE (like WCW) is welcome fully.

  • RULE 14: Constructive Criticism

Criticism is welcome, including strong opinions.

If you're going to be negative, say why. Posts and comments like "this sucks" or "I hate [performer]" with no reason may be removed. Positive opinions don't need the same level of explanation, since we want r/WWE to stay welcoming to fans.

Posts and comments that only vent, pile on, or repeat the same complaints may also be removed.

  • RULE 15: Sources

If you share reports from an outside source, name the source in the post. Untraceable news may be removed. Including a link helps.

Not all sources are equal. Moderators may disallow sources at their discretion, Dirtsheet content is allowed. If it contains info about upcoming events, treat it as a spoiler.

If your source is a link, include the main takeaway in your post or body. Misleading or clickbait titles may be removed.

Present rumors and reports as what they are, not as confirmed facts.

- - -

Also, we have redone the posting flairs since they were outdated too. We now have flairs for Highlight (any clip from WWE), Dirtsheets (unconfirmed reports), Personal Content (anything from yourself that you'd like to share), and Throwback (anything old that you find interesting, this can include anniversary posts). We've also added flairs for Discussion that includes spoilers, so the users can more easily navigate the subreddit.

These are the main changes as we look to improve the subreddit. Any feedback is welcome! Thank you for reading.

Discussion Roman: “What if I get hurt?” Chad Gable every Monday:

“With my schedule, people will pick on it. Now, I got to conserve it. But those reps, they’re critical.” - Roman Reigns

The irony of Roman saying Monday and Friday’s are where his efforts should be, only to still make little appearances on the weekly shows to the point where storylines have been halted because of him.

Roman should not be in the conversation for wrestler of the year. He’s lucky to be top 3. While he’s too worried about stubbing his toe, Chad Gable alongside others are tearing shit up. Gable is wrestler of the year and he’ll have 40 more 5-star matches before Roman laces up his shoes again.

The Mid Card Division

The WWE midcard divison is in horrible shape, gable has to have heatless face vs face matches with luchadors because penta beat everyone else, smackdown isnt much better, trick williams had 4 baron corbin matches and carmelo got moved into 946 before the trick Williams program. So trick has a very short list of challenges.

The reason why is simply because of TKO greed, if you arent in the main event making wwe millions of dollars, they do not care about you, they’re multiple great mid card talent being cut because of tko’s greed.

These talent are being poached by aew to rot in a faction or on ROH! WWE needs to spend some money on more talent before AEW gets them all!

Discussion Could Doink be brought back in this modern era?

I’ve been watching a lot of videos of Matt Borne’s Doink lately (from his early appearances in the crowd to his final matches before getting fired and replaced) and have always wondered if he could be brought back today and how would he be written?

Personally, I 100% think he could be brought back but tweaked to be more like Borne Again instead of the OG Evil Clown that was a wrestler dressed as a clown to throw his opponents off.

I see Doink’s return as first appearing on TV during segments as the usual Babyface version but would always end up getting beaten up by the end of said segments. Every appearance would also have some sense of consistency too. So first appearance back, he’s normal but gets beaten up. Second appearance, he has bandages on. Third appearance, he gets brought out to the ring then takes a pretty good bump resulting in a cast or a brace. Every appearance he gets more disheveled until he snaps and can’t take it anymore. The final time he gets beaten up, he pulls a fast one and turns the tables on his attacker… finally snapping.

After that, he wouldn’t be just a heel going after babyfaces. Since the ones beating him up week after week would primarily be heels since he would start out as a babyface but slowly turning heel with each attack, he would target anyone that simply looks at him since he thinks they’re out to get him. But instead of being just some angry nihilistic clown, he gains his laughter back everytime he goes nuts on someone.

Which also begs the question, if they brought Doink back… who would you like to see portray him?

COLLECTIBLES HELP

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi !

My boyfriend is a HUGE WWE fan. Growing up (early 2000s) he had about 55 collectible figurines with accessories (seen in the attached photo). Due to extenuating circumstances he does not have them anymore.

I know how much these meant to him and would really love to replace or find something similar for him. I have no idea where to look or what to look for. Could anyone please help me find something similar or direct me to places?

I am a full time student so my budget is ~$250 (again I don’t even know if this is feasible)

Thank you so much!!!!

-a very clueless girlfriend

Why Do They Still Call It The Undisputed WWE Championship (Plus Other Things)

It's clearly disputed by the World Championship, and the Universal Championship was retroactively retired at WrestleMania 40 (with Cody Rhodes being the final Universal Champion).

And on the topic of the World Championship, I wish they would combine the lineages of the WCW/ World (1991 to 2001), World (2002 to 2013), and World (2023 and beyond) Championships so both brands have a respectable World title lineage.

Also, why does the WWE seem to favor keeping/ making newer championships over older ones?

In 2010, when they fully unified the WWE Tag Team and World Tag Team Championships, they discontinued the older World Tag Team (1972) Championships in favor of continuing the lineage of the newer WWE Tag Team (2002) Championships.

Also in 2010, when they unified the Women's and Divas' Championship, they discontinued the older Women's Championship (1956) in favor of the Divas' Championship (2008).

In 2016, instead of simply changing the name of the Divas' Championship to the Women's Championship, they made a brand new Women's Championship.

Also in 2016, instead of bringing back the World Championship lineage (2002), they made a brand new lineage with the Universal Championship.

Discussion Edge Will Retire At The End Of 2027

Hopefully the mods don't mind some brief references to AEW but that's where this came up. After a match on Dynamite, Adam "Edge" Copeland gave an update on our father Christian Cage's health. 5 minutes into a PPV TLC tag title defense a few weeks before, Christian broke three ribs (one of which was in three places) and pierced a lung. Cope/Edge admitted that it put things into perspective for his own career, and he announced that he'd hang up his boots for real at the end of 2027.

Ranking Thoughts on current male champions

Post image
32 Upvotes

Sami Zayn 8.5/10

The win was big, the story is fresh, the challenges are fresh and he can realistically lose to Gunther, Punk and KO maybe Finn. We haven’t seen a title program this deep and unpredictable in a while.

Roma reigns 7.5/10

The win was big, he’s defended against Jacob, Seth and LA so 4 defenses and I feel like the WHC feels like more of a prop to him like he pics and chooses when to make it important.

Trick williams 5.5/10

The win was good. Trick’s presentation without the title was decent but the Corbin Fued was ass and the Belt doesn’t really stick out.

Chad Gable 7/10

The win was phenomenal, the matches are great but the programs don’t feel that big especially when you look at Gunther’s reign, Bron Breakker reign (at times) or even Sami Zayns.

MFTs 6.5/10

Feels like they’re missing something but at least they have a couple of decent challengers.

Vision -2/10

The belts are Legit props and they don’t even defend them. You had Bron in a SINGLES fued with his partner being treated as the Pin eater when Logan is RIGHT THERE.

It sucks when at different stretches there’s fire champions then someone else wins and the have a SHIT reign.

Just love watching this guy wrestle. Nothing too showy, no drama, always respectful to the other fighter (is that an AAA thing?)

Calling someone a 'jobbing' wrestler sounds like a negative term, but Chad looks like he is here to do a job...and does it.

More Chad Gable fights say I!

I know I know, they don't wanna have him be heel cause of merch sales and blah blah blah but fuck that. This could really breathe new life into his character and be different. He provides the group the star power they need and that could give credibility while they build up Keys and Hayes

Discussion War Games is Overrated

So I see WWE have already started to pull random faction members out of their ass, no doubt to make up teams to shoehorn in the overrated war games match at Survivor Series.

Yes I know it’s a gimmick PPV like MitB but the matches can’t be as popular as WWE think they are.

Bring back the traditional 6v6 elimination match, those were fire.
