Storyline What if Wrestlemania IX's Matches Results were Different?

Hello everyone, I bring you a new What If, which is What if Wrestlemania VIII's Matches Results were Different?

This is part of a series where I look at every Wrestlemania and its matches, and how it would look like if all its matches' results were different, and see if the alternate Wrestlemania is better, worse or about the same than the Wrestlemania of our timeline.

Last time I did Wrestlemania VIII, which you can find here: https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasybooking/comments/1x5ucro/what_if_wrestlemania_viiis_matches_results_were/

As always, the Wrestlemanias are not continuous.

Now let's begin!

Dark Match:

- Papa Shango defeats Tito Santana:

This wouldn't have hurt Tito that much, since he was leaving the company in the year to go to ECW, and Papa Shango winning could potentially mean Charles Wright keeps the gimmick, and thus doesn't become Kama later in 1995!

Main Matches:

- Tatanka vs Shawn Michaels for the WWF Intercontinental Championship:

This ended in a count-out, so we will see the two scenarios where either competitor won:

- Shawn Michaels retains cleanly: While this would end Tatanka's undefeated streak and hurt him in the short term, in the long term it wouldn't hurt him that much since his undefeated streak ended later that same year. This would boost Shawn's credibility and give him momentum when fighting with Marty Jannetty over the title and later with Razor Ramon in their iconic Ladder Match at Wrestlemania X.

- Tatanka becomes the new WWF Intercontinental Champion: This would give a lot of momentum for Tatanka, as his undefeated streak would gain much more aura, and he would hold the title until September 27th 1993 where he drops it to Razor Ramon so he can have his first IC title. Tatanka would have been IC Champion for a total of 176 days.

- The Headshrinkers (Fatu and Samu) defeat the Steiner Brothers:

This would hurt the Steiner Brothers' credibility, and while I think they would still defeat Money Inc to win their first WWF Tag Team titles, WWF would have had to find a way to rebuild them. Potentially, it is the Headshrinkers who end up winning the WWF Tag Team Championship from Money Inc, meaning they win the tag team titles a year earlier!

- Crush defeats Doink the Clown:

Had this happened, the other Doink wouldn't have appeared at the event, and instead the other Doink would have appeared at King of the Ring 1993, distracting Crush to cost him the IC title, either against Michaels or Tatanka in this timeline.

- Bob Backlund defeats Razor Ramon:

While this would have been great to see Backlund win in his first major pay-per-view since his return in 1992 and performance at the 1993 Royal Rumble, this would hurt Razor Ramon's credibility, and while I think he would still win the IC title at the end of the year, WF would have had to find a way to rebuild him.

- Money Inc (Ted DiBiase and IRS) vs The Mega-Maniacs (Hulk Hogan and Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake):

This match ended in a disqualification, so we will see the two scenarios where either competitor won:

- Money Inc retain cleanly: This would boost the tag team picture, as it would make the Steiner Brothers' win over Money Inc even greater.

- The Mega-Maniacs become the new WWF Tag Team Champions: Had this happened, both Hogan and Beefcake would have dropped the Tag Team titles at King of the Ring, as both men were leaving the company later in the year.

- Mr. Perfect defeats Lex Luger:

Ironically, this might be a good thing for Luger to lose at Wrestlemania, as this would build sympathy for him, as he would build himself back up, leading to his Face turn on July 4th where he bodyslams Yokozuna and get the crowd to cheer him. As for Mr. Perfect, this would give him another Wrestlemania win, but I don't think it would lead him to a singles push as he was on his way out of WWF due to his back injuries.

- The Undertaker vs Giant Gonzales:

This match ended in a disqualification, so we will see the two scenarios where either competitor won:

- The Undertaker wins cleanly: This would make the match a bit better by having Undertaker win clean, but not much would change, and perhaps Gonzales attacking Undertaker with the chloroform happens after the match.

- Giant Gonzales defeats the Undertaker and prevents the Streak from happening (2-1): Had this happened, Gonzales would have won by disqualification or count-out, and their feud would end with Undertaker winning back over Gonzales at Summerslam 1993.

- Bret "The Hitman" Hart defeats Yokozuna to retain the WWF Championship:

Had this happened, I think the Royal Rumble stipulation of "The Rumble Match winner gets a title opportunity at Wrestlemania" would have been abandonned if Yokozuna lost the main event of Wrestlemania as he was the first Rumble winner to get the title opportunity at Wrestlemania.

- Bret "The Hitman" Hart defeats Hulk Hogan to retain the WWF Championship:

Bret Hart beating both Yokozuna and Hogan at Wrestlemania IX would have allowed his popularity to skyrocket as the Face of the New Generation Era, as he would still go on to win King of the Ring for a second time, and potentially, I think he drops the WWF Championship to Owen Hart, who wins the 1994 Rumble, and defeats his brother at Wrestlemania X, as Bret would have been champion for 350 days.

So what do you think? Is this alternate Wrestlemania IX better, worse or about the same as the original Wrestlemania of our timeline? Let me know how you think the matches would have gone differently if someone else won the match and your thoughts in the comments!

Star ratings are based on approximate, rounded data from Cagematch (halved to fit the 5-star system) where matches happened in real life; if they haven't happened, star ratings will be based on the speculated quality of the match (e.g., CM Punk vs Shawn Michaels would probably be at least 4.25/5 stars)

Match 5 note: The animosity between Rock & Faarooq blows off here. The Nation cost Faarooq the match, and as a result, Faarooq is kicked out for losing, making Rock the new leader.

Match 6 note: The Outlaws win the belts back the next night on Raw

Match 7 note: After enduring months of Kane and Paul Bearer taunts and The Undertaker refusing to fight his brother, both men finally meet at WrestleMania. It takes three Tombstones to put Kane down and hand him his first loss, making him the 7th victim of The Streak.

Match 8 note: Austin wants to finally claim the WWF Championship. Michaels wants to keep it. The Texas Rattlesnake vows to whip Michaels' ass and Tyson's ass too if he gets in his way. Tyson still knocks out HBK just like in real life. The Austin Era has begun! The next night on Raw, with HBK now retired (for now), Triple H retools DX, with the new look D-Generation X consisting of himself, Chyna, The New Age Outlaws, and a returning X-Pac.

Storyline [Booking] How to fix "Single-Star Fatigue": Elevating Damian Priest, Rey Fenix, and Ricky Starks to the Main Event AT THE SAME TIME

A lot of us have been talking lately about the issue of WWE relying too heavily on one single star at a time (like the recent Jey Uso solo push). No matter how "over" someone is, a prolonged, isolated push eventually leads to audience burnout and makes the character feel stale.

The solution isn't to just pick a different guy to push for 8 months. The solution is to build a dynamic, multi-layered main event scene by elevating 3 or 4 fresh faces simultaneously. It creates real competition, unpredictable storylines, and prevents fans from getting tired of seeing the exact same face every week.

Here is how I would elevate Damian Priest, Rey Fenix, and Ricky Starks into the World Title picture at the exact same time, without burying anyone.

The Setup: The "New Era" Contendership

Instead of a standard #1 contender tournament, the General Manager announces a month-long "Round Robin" or points-based series specifically for stars who have been knocking on the door of the main event. Priest, Fenix, and Starks emerge as the final three, forcing them into a high-stakes Triple Threat Match at a major PLE (like Backlash or SummerSlam) for a guaranteed World Title shot.

The Dynamics & The Build

This works perfectly because all three cater to different segments of the audience and have clashing styles:

Ricky Starks (The Instigator): Starks plays the arrogant, untouchable heel. He doesn't want to fight unless he has to. He spends the weekly shows cutting blistering, personal promos, trying to get Priest and Fenix to destroy each other so he can pick up the scraps. He brings the psychological heat and the mic work to carry the TV segments.

Damian Priest (The Punisher): Priest is the tweener powerhouse who is sick of the politics and sick of Starks' mouth. He is on a violent warpath. He doesn't care about looking flashy; he just wants to physically dismantle his opponents to reclaim his spot at the very top.

Rey Fenix (The Ultimate Underdog): Fenix is the pure babyface and the in-ring magician. While Starks talks and Priest destroys, Fenix puts on 5-star TV matches. He constantly gets caught in the crossfire between Starks and Priest, but refuses to stay down, earning the absolute organic love of the crowd.

The Climax: The Triple Threat Match

We build to the PLE where they finally clash. The match is structured to highlight everyone's strengths. Starks tries to cheat and steal pins, Fenix hits breathtaking high-flying spots that get the crowd on their feet, and Priest acts as the final boss trying to catch Fenix mid-air or brutalize Starks.

The Finish: Starks tries to hit his finisher on a grounded Fenix, but Priest catches Starks out of nowhere with a South of Heaven chokeslam for the 1-2-3.

The Aftermath (No One Gets Buried)

Because of how the story is built, all three come out looking like main eventers:

Damian Priest looks like an absolute monster and moves on to face the World Champion, feeling like a legitimate, fresh threat.

Rey Fenix didn't take the pin. He put on the performance of a lifetime, proving he can hang with the heavyweights. He transitions into a massive Intercontinental/US Title run with the entire crowd behind him, fully established as a top-tier singles star.

Ricky Starks took the pin, but he can use his mic skills on Monday to blame the loss on the triple-threat rules. He keeps his massive heat and stays firmly cemented in the upper card.

By doing this, WWE creates THREE credible threats at once, giving the fans variety and making the main event scene completely unpredictable again.

What do you guys think? Who else would you put in a multi-star push like this?

Note for match 5: after the match, Paul Bearer says Kane is getting sick of all the mind games. Paul Bearer says they will not leave this ring until The Undertaker arrives. The lights go out. GONG. The lights come back on, and The Undertaker appears behind Kane! Both men brawl, with 'Taker getting the best of his brother. The lights go out again for a few seconds, and when they come back on, The Deadman vanishes, leaving Kane and Paul Bearer fuming. (Credit to Unt1tled)

Storyline [Booking] Using Carmelo Hayes’ 946 union to completely break Sami Zayn's mind (Sami vs. Finn Balor)

With Carmelo Hayes officially joining 946 on RAW and dropping that “Ain't Nobody Safe” line on IG, I think we have the perfect spark for a completely different kind of storyline on SmackDown.

Honestly, instead of the usual "faction invasion" angle, hear me out: let's use 946 as a psychological weapon.

Word gets out that 946 is expanding and has a "mole" secretly working for them on SmackDown. Sami Zayn, acting as the loud, paranoid babyface, takes it upon himself to find the traitor. Every week, he cuts these frantic, conspiracy-theory promos using Melo's quote as proof that SmackDown is next. Eventually, he points the finger at **Finn Balor** (mostly because of Finn's past Judgment Day baggage).

Picture this: Sami is screaming on the mic, interrogating Finn in the middle of the ring, trying to force a confession. But Finn? *He gives absolutely nothing.* He just stands there, completely silent, letting Sami lose his mind and look like a paranoid fool. When Sami finally pushes too far and shoves him, Finn answers the only way the "Silent Killer" knows how: pure, sudden violence.

**The twist?** We find out later Finn was *never* the mole. He just used the 946 paranoia to mentally break Sami before physically breaking him.

From that point on, their feud strips away all technical wrestling. No fancy sequences. They just stand dead center in the ring, trading stiff, echoing chops. Just pure spite and physical punishment, organically proving that the only way to settle this is a brutally physical **No Holds Barred match**.

What do you guys think of tying Melo's actual quote into this route? I’d love to read your own completely different fantasy booking ideas. Drop your alternative scenarios below—let’s see what kind of storylines you all can come up with for Sami and Finn!

Storyline What if Wrestlemania VIII's Matches Results were Different?

Hello everyone, I bring you a new What If, which is What if Wrestlemania VIII's Matches Results were Different?

This is part of a series where I look at every Wrestlemania and its matches, and how it would look like if all its matches' results were different, and see if the alternate Wrestlemania is better, worse or about the same than the Wrestlemania of our timeline.

Last time I did Wrestlemania VII, which you can find here: https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasybooking/comments/1x50et0/what_if_wrestlemania_viis_matches_results_were/

As always, the Wrestlemanias are not continuous.

Now let's begin!

Dark Match:

- The Beverly Brothers defeat the Bushwackers:

Because this is a dark match between two low-card teams, this wouldn't change anything.

Main Matches:

- Tito Santana defeats Shawn Michaels:

While the crowd would be happy to see Tito triumph over the heel, this would hurt Shawn Michaels' credibility, and while he would still win the Intercontinental Championship from the British Bulldog at Saturday Night's Main Event XXXI, he would need to rebuild his momentum following his loss to Tito Santana in this timeline.

- Jake "The Snake" Roberts defeats The Undertaker and prevents the Streak from happening (1-1):

This wouldn't have done anything for Roberts as he was leaving the company after this match, while the Undertaker's credibility would have taken a hit since he turned Face against Roberts prior to the event.

- "Rowdy" Roddy Piper defeats Bret "The Hitman" Hart to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship:

If this happened, Piper would drop the title to Bret Hart on the next house show as Piper would leave WWF after the event like in our timeline. Thus, I do not think this would hurt Bret too much, as he would still win the WWF Championship from Ric Flair on the house show of October 12th 1992.

- The Nasty Boys (Jerry Sags and Brian Knobbs), Repo Man and The Mountie defeat The Big Boss Man, Virgil, Sgt. Slaughter and Hacksaw Jim Duggan in the Eight Man Tag Team Match:

I do not think this would hurt the face team, as we would just see the crowd booing the heels. Potentially the Nasty Boys could use the win to go after the WWF Tag Team Championship, and win the titles for the second time in their career, but it isn't a guarantee.

- Ric Flair defeats "Macho Man" Randy Savage to retain the WWF Championship:

Ric Flair would pull a shocker by being the first heel to walk out of Wrestlemania as WWF Champion, and I see two scenarios possible:

- Either Ric Flair retains all the way to the house show of October 12th where he drops the title to Bret Hart like in our timeline,

- Or Savage get his revenge by winning the title at Summerslam, acting as transitional champion before dropping the WWF Championship at the house of October 12th, which would give him momentum for Royal Rumble 1993.

- Rick Martel defeats Tatanka:

Martel winning means Tatanka's undefeated streak ends early, and Tatanka would have to avenge his loss, still leading to the end of their feud at Survivor Series 1992.

- The Natural Disasters (Earthquake and Typhoon) vs Money Inc (Ted DiBiase and IRS) for the WWF Tag Team Championship:

This match ended by a count-out, so we will see the two scenarios of either team winning:

- Money Inc retains cleanly: This would make The Natural Disasters' win in July be greater with Money Inc retaining cleanly, keeping the prestige of the titles.

- The Natural Disasters become the new WWF Tag Team Champions: This would give the Natural Disasters their biggest win of their careers, as they would also have a longer reign of a few more months compared to our timeline.

- Skinner defeats Owen Hart:

Honestly, I do not think this loss would hurt Owen too much, as he joined back the WWF in late 1991, and WWF could use the loss to rebuild Owen's momentum in the summer.

- Hulk Hogan vs Sid Justice:

This match ended in a disqualification win for Hogan, so we will see the two scenarios for either men winning:

- Hulk Hogan wins cleanly: This wouldn't be a surprise for a crowd, and this wouldn't change anything from our timeline, as Hogan would be put aside by WWF due to the steroid scandal.

- Sid Justice wins: This would have elevated Sid's career as WWF wanted him to be Hulk Hogan's successor, and the crowd would be shocked to see Hogan being pinned clean, but like in our timeline, Sid would leave the company for a second run at WCW.

So what do you think? Is this alternate Wrestlemania VIII better, worse or about the same as the original Wrestlemania of our timeline? Let me know how you think the matches would have gone differently if someone else won the match and your thoughts in the comments!

Project Which Great Wrestler that you like do you wish was Great/Better on the Mic?

For me it’s AJ Styles. Hes amazing and he’s one of the greatest of all time ring performers for me but I feel the only thing he was lacking was the mic skills. He was an okay to decent talker throughout his career but not phenomenal no pun intended. Sometimes I wish he was really really good on the mic. I can envision him having a Chael Sonnen from UFC like trash talk where he’s really creative with his words like Chael was. I think it would really fit with his phenomenal gimmick. I feel if his mic skills were as phenomenal as his in ring skills he could’ve been the GOAT. I ask this becuase I want to do something for aj on a Fantasybooking post or tew save.

Storyline The Prodigy Vs. The Protege: Day One NSFW

(The Judgement Day enters; music plays; they arrogantly walk down the ramp, led by Liv and Dom)

(Music continues playing, and it stops suddenly)

Liv
We may be rich; there is NO denying that. What more could we want? Well, that is so very simple, and I know all you peabrains know the answer.

Roxanne
We want MORE! More power, more fame, more recognition, yet all of you delusional morons keep cheering for a ghost of this business and her pathetic husband.
(Crowd chants AJ Lee)

Roxanne
Seems like you aren’t so stupid after all. I have been waiting many long months to retire you, as you should have been before, but now, right when I appear, you decide to DISappear?

Dom
Punk, yeah, I see you backstage, you greasy-haired son of a bitch, months in the making, and you are still avoiding me. Weak, pitiful, you are just an old, washed-up, grey-haired bozo feeding off of this generation.

Roxanne
Face it, old man, you are just a supposed-to-be retired superstar. Oh, yeah, Punk, how's YOUR back feeling? Is it still sore from when, you know, I made pop rox out of your corpse?
(Judgement Day all burst out laughing)

Liv
All you have is luck, luck that is going to run out sooner or later, when my little Dom Dom rips you limb from limb as payback for what you did to his family.

Roxanne
I have spen-
(Liv cuts her off)
Liv
The hell are you doing? I am still talking

Roxanne
Yeah, and now you aren’t; I am. Now, as I was saying, I spent many years looking up to AJ; she was like a mentor to me, like a MOTHER, but now, who the hell is she? Forgotten, alone, maybe lost. Lost in a world of unsold comic books and more broken dreams
(Roxanne laughs hysterically)
Liv
Are ya done? Doesn’t matter. Look, all I am trying to say is that your idols, your “Favorite wrestler,” won’t be a wrestler when Dom Dom is through with him, and we, we are your real favorite wrestlers.

JD
You filled my mentor's head with lies, you self-conscious, illegitimate, half-wit moron; you had to abandon your own family to be with your treacherous wife and your pathetic- (Cult of Personality echoes throughout the arena)

PUNK(calmly)
You leave my wife outta this, or I will make you Go To Sleep, you hear me, you greasy-haired, pathetic, adopted excuse for a son
(Dom gets very upset and continues to threaten punk from behind Liv)

Dom
Hey, there he is, the man of the hour, how kind enough to show your face after all these years. If you have something to say, why don’t you come in here and–

Punk
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know what the fuck you are gonna say: “If you have something to say, why don’t you come in here and say it to my face,” but the fact of the matter is, I can't even look you in your face because I’ll see my own reflection across your greasy ass forehead.

Dom
Shut your ass up, you old geezer.
(When Dom says this line, Punk decides to take a quick power nap on the top turnbuckle)

Dom
You claim to be what, the voice of the voiceless? Now you are just an old man who lost his cane. You are just brittle bones in a heap of weird-ass tattoos. Hey, Punk, where's that excuse for a wife we’ve all been dying to meet? Seems like you got weally upset when we talked about her

(Punk lets out a long snore)

Punk
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Dom
HEY, WAKE UP WHEN I’M TALKING TO YOU, YOU DOPE.
(Dom heads over to the corner and delivers a slap across Punk's face)

Punk
You think that Disney Princess-ass slap makes you a man; in fact, it reminds me of a boy whose father didn’t beat him enough. His name was Dominik Mysterio, and by the looks of it, still is a fucking child. Oh, am I making you nervous? Ok, of course, you are hiding behind a woman. Why the hell is it always me in this situation? The only male person in your group is hiding behind all the women. YEAH, I’M TALKING TO YOU, JD.
(Dom gives another cheap shot)

Punk

Wats wong, are you still scared? That's what I thought, dick for brains.
(Dom gives another cheap shot, but this time throws a cowardly punch, but Punk ducks)

Punk(grabbing Dom by the shirt)
Well, you brought this on yourself. Dom, you know and I know, and everybody knows, that I would never put my hands on a lady
(Dom freezes again and hides behind Liv and Roxanne)

Punk
Thankfully, I have somebody who will
(This time, AJ’s music doesn’t play)
Dom
I know these games, Punk, you old dog, and look at that they didn’t work. Look at that, like a ghost of the industry.

Michael Cole
Well, those were some sharp jabs by both Punk and the Judgment Day, but

Punk
Eh, fuck it

(AJ sneakily slides under the bottom rope and decapitates Liv with a shining wizard at the same time Punk makes Dom go to sleep)

(While all the bedlam is happening in the ring)
Michael Cole
AJ LEE, SHE’S BACK, TAKING THE FIGHT TO THE JUDGMENT DAY, AND AJ SMELLS BLOOD

Pat MacAfee
WELL, THIS WAS A TURNAROUND, SHE LITERALLY TOOK OFF LIV MORGAN'S HEAD WITH THAT SHINING WIZARD!

Michael Cole
OH, PUNK NOW GETTING IN ON THE ACTION, LOOKING FOR THE GTS. DOM IS OUT COLD, RAQUEL RUNNING WITH LIV ON HER SHOULDERS.

Pat MacAfee
SERVES THEM RIGHT. NOW AJ, TAKING THE FIGHT TO THE PRODIGY, THE PRESS TAKES EM DOWN, AND LOOK AT THESE LEFTS, AND ROXANNE GETS OUT ALIVE

Michae Cole
What. A. Pity

NOTE: BOLD WRITING MEANS TALKING LIKE A CHILD

Let me know how the pacing is. Too fast, not fast enough, or just right? Let me know!

Storyline nWo should’ve introduced one by one in WWE

WcW did it right.
Even TNA did it right by short term but failed in long term.

WWE failed because they were trying to debut best faction and best star they ever made at the same time. So nWo return reactions was very weird. Even the segment was weird.

So lets start with my plan;
No Vince McMahon Segment. Just Scott Hall appears out of nowhere just like he did in WCW and with the same promo; “you know who am i and you dont know why am i here” something like that.
Next week; WWE announces Red and yellow real american fan favorite hogan return as a big event. Just like how they were announced nwo debut.
Then next week; nash returns to assault wwf champion and steals the belt and escapes.

And finally; no way out 2002 hogan return event begins with hosts of vince, and wwe producers. While everybody is celebrating, two masked man enters to ring and unmasks themselfs as nash and hall and threats to beat down everybody in the ring including vince. Hogan backs everybody up and tells people calm down and he will handle things himself. Then another “Finger poke of doom” happens. Kevin nash touches his finger to red and yellow hulk hogan and hogan jokingly fells and leaves the ring. Then nash and hall beats down everybody up. Excluding Vince, and both clears the ring from the bodies. While hogan watches everything from the ringside.
Then nash hall and hogan all trio removes their t shirts and reveals their nWo undershirt. Then celebrates with vince.
Next week; vince finally makes that nwo promo.

Storyline What if Wrestlemania VII's Matches Results were Different?

Hello everyone, I bring you a new What If, which is What if Wrestlemania VII's Matches Results were Different?

This is part of a series where I look at every Wrestlemania and its matches, and how it would look like if all its matches' results were different, and see if the alternate Wrestlemania is better, worse or about the same than the Wrestlemania of our timeline.

Last time I did Wrestlemania VI, which you can find here: https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasybooking/comments/1x44xmb/what_if_wrestlemania_vis_matches_results_were/

As always, the Wrestlemanias are not continuous.

Now let's begin!

- The Barbarian and Haku defeat the Rockers (Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty):

The Rockers would have had their third consecutive loss at Wrestlemania, but ironically, this could cause Shawn Michaels' heel turn to happen at the end of 1991 instead of early 1992, as he would blame Jannetty for holding him down. As for Barbarian and Haku, I do not think it would have led to a push for either of them in singles or tag team run.

- Dino Bravo defeats The Texas Tornado:

This wouldn't have done anything for Dino Bravo, as he would leave the company the following year, while hurting the Texas Tornado's credibility.

- The Warlord defeats The British Bulldog:

This wouldn't have done anything for The Warlord, and it would have hurt Bulldog's credibility.

- The Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hitman" Hart and Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart) defeat The Nasty Boys (Jerry Sags and Brian Knobbs) to retain the WWF Tag Team Championship:

Had the Hart Foundation retained, they would drop the tag team titles in June, so Bret Hart can still challenge Mr. Perfect for the Intercontinental Championship at Summerslam 1991, and this means the Nasty Boys never become tag team champions in this timeline.

- Rick "The Model" Martel defeats Jake "The Snake" Roberts in the Blindfold Match:

I believe Martel would have taken the opportunity to remove his blindfold when the referee was distracted or taken down by accident to hit his finisher, putting the blindfold on, and win the match. Martel would obviously brag about winning by cheating without the referee noticing the following house shows, while Roberts would try to recover by having one more match with Martel.

- Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka defeats the Undertaker and prevents the Streak from happening (0-1):

Had this happened, I think Snuke would have won by DQ or count-out, so Undertaker doesn't take the pin in order to keep his aura to challenge Hulk Hogan at Survivor Series 1991 for the WWF Championship. This wouldn't have done anything for Jimmy Snuka as he would leave the company for ECW in early 1992.

- "Macho King" Randy Savage defeats the Ultimate Warrior in the Retirement Match, forcing the Ultimate Warrior to retire:

Randy Savage winning means we do not get the emotional reunion of Savage with Miss Elizabeth, and thus Savage stays heel. Warrior being forced to retire means we do not get his feud with The Undertaker, Jake Roberts stays Face, and Hogan has to find someone else to team up against Sgt Slaughter, Colonel Mustafa and General Adnan at Summerslam 1991.

- Demolition defeats Tenryu and Kitao:

Demolition winning means the team doesn't disband, as Smash doesn't become the Repo Man, and Crush stays in WWF instead of going to Pacific Northwest Wrestling, and potentially, Demolition defeat the Legion of Doom in the beginning of 1992 to win their fourth WWF Tag Team Championship!

- The Big Boss Man vs Mr. Perfect for the WWF Intercontinental Championship:

This match ended in a disqualification, so we will do our two scenarios where either competitor won:

- Mr. Perfect retains cleanly: This would make Bret Hart's victory over Perfect at Summerslam 1991 even greater had Perfect won by pinfall or submission against Boss Man.

- Big Boss Man becomes the new WWF Intercontinental Champion: Big Boss Man would act as a transitional champion, losing to Bret Hart at Summerslam, that way Mr. Perfect doesn't have to take the fall and lose the title to Bret.

- Greg "The Hammer" Valentine defeats Earthquake:

This wouldn't do anything for Valentine as he was on his way out of WWF, and it would hurt Earthquake's credibility as he would go on to have his feud with Jake Roberts and later form the Natural Disasters with Typhoon.

- Power and Glory (Paul Roma and Hercules) defeat the Legion of Doom (Hawk and Animal):

This would hurt the Legion of Doom's credibility and momentum, and while I do think they would still win the WWF Tag Team Championship at Summerslam 1991, losing to Power and Glory would still hurt, while Power and Glory wouldn't have a push.

- Ted DiBiase defeats Virgil:

Ironically, had DiBiase defeated Virgil, I think this would created sympathy for Virgil, as his win over DiBiase at Summerslam 1991 for the Million Dollar Championship would be even greater than in our timeline as he failed to beat his former boss at Wrestlemania VII.

- Tito Santana defeats the Mountie:

Considering this was Tito's later part of his WWF career under the "El Matador" gimmick, and The Mountie being on the lower card, this wouldn't have done anything for either men, as I think The Mountie would still defeat Bret Hart in early 1992 for the WWF Intercontinental Championship, and the crowd would be happy to see Tito win over The Mountie.

- Sgt. Slaughter defeats Hulk Hogan to retain the WWF Championship:

Had this happened, I think Sgt. Slaughter would win with General Adnan distracting the referee, allowing Slaughter to pin Hogan and retain the WWF Championship, with the crowd shocked and booing him out of the building. I think Slaughter would drop the title to Hogan at Summerslam 1991 in a singles match, with Mustafa and Adnan barred from ringside, with the stipulation that Slaughter would lose the title if he lost by disqualification or count-out.

So what do you think? Is this alternate Wrestlemania VII better, worse or about the same as the original Wrestlemania of our timeline? Let me know how you think the matches would have gone differently if someone else won the match and your thoughts in the comments!

Storyline A broken brotherhood with revenge

what if at survivor series war games triple h and tony Kahn announce a inter - promotional war games match bloodline and the death riders with Roman reigns and Jon moxley as captains due to long term history as brothers so anyways a build up happens with segments and brawl leading up to match with tension and family past between roman and Jon moxley. during the match while all the other team members are down we get a standoff between Roman and Jon moxley doing each other moves reversing each other moves and both land together in the ring out.Of a sudden

the arena lights cut out. Over the speaker system, the iconic, spine-chilling crackle of the old Shield entrance music hits: "Sierra, Hotel, India, Echo, Lima, Delta... SHIELD."

The crowd completely loses its mind. Out of the darkness, Seth "Freakin" Rollins appears at the top of the stadium stairs. But he isn't wearing his flamboyant modern gear. He is wearing the tactical black Shield vest from 2012. He marches down the steps with a sinister grin, carrying a single black steel chair.

Rollins enters the cage. Roman and Moxley look at him, stunned. Rollins stands between his two former brothers, looking back and forth. Slowly, Rollins extends his fist into the center of the ring—offering the legendary Shield fist bump.

Roman looks at Moxley. Moxley looks at Roman. After a decade of hatred, the stadium is shaking as casual and die-hard fans realize they might see a full Shield reunion. Slowly, Roman and Moxley step forward and place their fists against Rollins'. The crowd is deafening.

Just as the fists touch, Rollins' smile vanishes.

Without warning, Rollins cracks Jon Moxley over the spine with the steel chair. Moxley collapses. Roman stands frozen in absolute shock. Before Roman can process the betrayal, Rollins drives the chair directly into Roman’s ribs, shattering the chair over his back just like he did in 2014.

Rollins systematically decimates both men with the chair, leaving the two faction captains broken in the center of the ring. Rollins drops the bent chair onto Roman's chest, cackles his trademark maniacal laugh, and walks out of the cage, leaving both The Bloodline and The Death Riders utterly ruined.

a couple of months passed it’s January it’s the annual royal rumble Seth Rollins wins it and becomes a 2 time royal rumble winner and chooses to face Roman reigns for the world heavyweight championship During a major television segment, Roman Reigns stands in the ring, holding his title and addressing the crowd. Suddenly, Jon Moxley’s music hits. He enters the ring and speaks to Roman in an incredibly personal, intense, and serious tone—bringing up Las Vegas, the chair shots, and their decade-long history. Seth Rollins joins the segment, and the air turns completely toxic. The storyline explodes into a masterclass of personal history, deep-rooted hatred, and the burning desire for revenge, turning their WrestleMania triple-threat into the most anticipated match in decades.

at wrestlemania during the main event all three used every move in they‘re arsenal even reversed each others moves hit one another than the unthinkable happens Late in the match, with all three men completely exhausted, the ultimate poetic justice arrives. Moxley grabs a steel chair. Instead of a corporate alliance, he unleashes a savage physical attack on both Roman and Seth, completely destroying them with the weapon that broke them apart in 2014. Moxley keeps assaulting both Roman and Seth numorus of times than the comeback happens Seth Rollins gets back up him and moxley go back and forth for a few mins using each other moves against one another than it of nowhere Roman hits a double spear does a pin on Seth 1-2 kickout than he pins moxley 1-2 kickout than in a shocker moxley and Seth do the old shield powerbomb on Roman threw the announce table than moxley goes after Seth doing more numerous of moves than moxley hits the Paradigm Shift on Seth Rollins than he kicks out than in The moment Roman gets back up he hits both moxley and Rollins with Superman punches than Roman goes for the spear Rollins reverses into a pedigree than moxley hits the paradigm shift on Seth and 1-2-3 moxley wins the match. the referee gives moxley the championship but moxley says nothing just walks out with no emotion nothing leaving Seth and Roman in the ring with fans asking what would be outcome result of all this

the next night in raw Monday Night Raw, Roman Reigns comes out to demand answers, only for the new champion to confront him one last time.

Moxley looks Roman dead in the eyes, hands him the title belt, and delivers the ultimate parting words: "My job here is done. I'm heading back to the show (AEW)," officially relinquishing the World Heavyweight Championship back to Roman Reigns.

Moxley drops the mic, walks out through the crowd, and leaves WWE completely on his own terms. He didn't come back for the money or the corporate glory—he came back purely to prove he could tear their world apart whenever he wanted and rewite a historical chapter.

back at aew moxley comes to the ring addresses the crowd saying this Look at you people. You’re looking at me like you just saw a ghost. You’re looking at me like I just pulled off the biggest bank heist in the history of this miserable business.

Let me tell you something about Las Vegas, and let me tell you something about Hollywood. For twelve long years... twelve years... I had to sit back and listen to the whole world talk about the 'Architect.' I had to listen to everyone bow down to the 'Tribal Chief.' I had to watch them build a multi-billion-dollar corporate machine around two guys who thought they were geniuses just because they wore expensive suits and learned how to talk to a camera.

They forgot who I am. They thought because I walked out of their corporate playground to build this house with my bare hands, that I softened up. They thought I forgot about June 2nd, 2014. They thought I forgot about that steel chair cracking against my spine.

So when the door opened... I didn't go back to WWE for a paycheck. I didn't go back for a reunion. I went back for a reckoning.

(The crowd chants "Holy Sht!")*

I stood in that ring at WrestleMania. I looked to my left, and I saw the Royal Rumble winner, Seth Rollins, begging for his moment. I looked to my right, and I saw the great Roman Reigns, crying about his legacy. And right when they thought the band was back together... right when they thought the brotherhood was saved... I picked up that chair. And I didn't just hit them. I broke them. I took twelve years of corporate propaganda and I smashed it across both of their backs until they couldn't breathe.

I pinned them. I took their shiny World Heavyweight Championship. And then, the very next night on Raw... I looked the Tribal Chief dead in his eyes, I dropped that corporate title right at his pathetic boots, and I told him he could keep his plastic kingdom. Because the gold don't make the man. The man makes the gold.

I went to the grandest stage they had, I conquered their two biggest gods on their biggest night, and I walked out the front door without a scratch on me.

WWE thinks they run this industry? TKO thinks they own the world? I just proved that whenever I want, I can walk into their house, tear down their walls, and leave them in ruins.

My job over there is done. The Shield is dead and buried, and I'm the one who dug the grave. Now, I'm back in the real world. Death Riders... we run the streets. And anyone in that AEW locker room who thinks they can stand in my way? Just look at what I did to WrestleMania, and ask yourself what the hell I’m gonna do to you."

than on monday night raw Roman addresses the crowd based of his loss saying this Are you all satisfied now? For three years... for three long years, I stood at the top of this mountain. I gave you a historic title run. I gave you blood, I gave you sweat, and I carried the financial weight of this entire empire on my back. I made this company untouchable. I made TKO billionaires. I built a family dynasty so strong that nobody on God's green earth could touch it.

And you people... you sat there and cheered for a ghost.

(Roman points a trembling finger at the championship on his shoulder)

Look at this. He didn't even want it. He came into my yard, he broke a steel chair across my spine, he pinned me in front of millions of people... and then he handed it back to me like it was a piece of garbage. He didn't want the glory. He didn't want the money. He did it... purely to humiliate me. To prove that everything I built, everything the Tribal Chief stands for, could be torn down in ten seconds by a lunatic who doesn't even work here.

And the worst part? The worst part is that he was right.

I let my guard down. I let nostalgia cloud my judgment. I looked into the eyes of a man I used to call my brother, and for one single, pathetic second... I thought the Shield was real. I thought the brotherhood was back. And because of that weakness, the history of my bloodline has been stained forever.

Jon... you think you're a genius? You think you walked out the front door clean? You didn't finish the job. You left me alive. You left me with this title. And now, the corporate suits backstage are looking at me like I’m damaged goods. They’re looking at me like I lost my step.

Well, let me make one thing perfectly clear to the board of directors, to the locker room, and to every single person watching at home... I am still the sun that this entire industry revolves around. Jon Moxley may have crawled back to his little indie show to hide, but the destruction he left behind is going to fall squarely on the head of the man who started all of this twelve years ago.

(Roman's face turns entirely cold, eyes dead locked onto the camera)

Seth Rollins... you brought this disease into my house at Survivor Series with that chair. You let him back into our world. You wanted to main event WrestleMania? You wanted to be the visionary? You are the reason our legacy is ruined. You are the reason a parasite just embarrassed WWE on the grandest stage of them all.

Jon Moxley is gone. He’s out of my reach for now. But you? You’re still right here. And I swear on everything my family has sacrificed... I am going to make you pay for what happened to us."

on smackdown Seth rollins addresses the crowd with his own version and perspective

I’ve heard what’s been said. I watched Raw on Monday night. I watch aew on Wednesday I listened l to Roman Reigns and moxley stand they’re grounds trembling like a child, pointing his finger at me, pointing his finger at the board of directors, pointing his finger at the entire world because his fragile little ego got shattered on the grandest stage of them all.

Roman wants to talk about legacy? He wants to talk about diseases and parasites? Let’s talk about the hard facts, Roman. Let’s look at the absolute reality of what happened at WrestleMania.

Fact number one: I won the Royal Rumble. I earned my ticket to the main event. I didn't ask for a cross-promotional war. I didn't ask for the ghost of our past to show up. But when the door opened, and the battlefield was set, I walked into that ring ready to fight for the soul of this industry.

Fact number two: Jon Moxley did exactly what Jon Moxley has always done. He is a chaotic, uncontrollable force of nature. And when he stood in that ring, and he looked at you, Roman... he saw exactly what I saw. He saw a man who became so blinded by his own corporate hype, so wrapped up in his 'Tribal Chief' delusion, that he forgot what it’s like to bleed. He saw a man who thought a multi-billion-dollar corporate machine could protect him from the reality of a fight.

(The crowd erupts into a massive "Moxley!" chant. Seth pauses, letting it breathe, nodding his head)

Listen to them. They know the truth.

But here is fact number three, Roman... and this is the one that is burning you alive inside. When Jon picked up that chair, and he broke it across your ribs, and he pinned you 1-2-3 in the center of that ring... he didn't just beat you. He exposed you. He took your 'unconquerable' empire and he showed the entire world that without your bloodline, without your corporate safety nets, you are just a man.

And then... he handed you the title. The ultimate insult. He looked at the highest prize in this company and he said, 'This isn't worth my time.'He gave it back to you because he knew that holding that belt would be a daily, agonizing reminder that you are a paper champion. Every single time you look at that gold, you are going to see Jon Moxley’s face looking back at you.

So don’t you dare stand on my television screen and blame me for your humiliation. I am the Architect of this house. I built the foundation that you’ve been living on for the last decade. If you want to blame someone for the destruction of The Shield's legacy, look in the mirror. Your arrogance invited him in. Your weakness let him conquer us.

Jon Moxley went back to his show. He took his ball, he went home, and he left the two of us here to clean up the wreckage. Well, Roman... you said on Monday that you were going to make me pay. You said you were coming for me.

Good. Because I am not hiding behind a corporate boardroom. I am right here on Friday Night SmackDown. If you want to bring your vengeance, if you want to bring your anger, you bring it. But you better bring everything you’ve got left in your tank, because the next time we stand in this ring... I’m not just going to finish what Jon started. I am going to tear down your kingdom brick by brick, and I am going to take back what belongs to me." with that said the shield triology is buried once in for all however as for Roman and Seth the warfare still lives on with the question would this warfare ever end when can Roman Seth move on from the past

Storyline How WWE could organically connect Lola Vice with The Judgment Day without rushing it (Plus a darker evolution for JD McDonagh)

With Lola Vice on Raw, I’ve been thinking about a slow-burn way WWE could handle her transition, specifically by creating an organic connection with The Judgment Day. Her MMA background and aggressive attitude already fit their vibe perfectly.

Instead of an immediate takeover or formal initiation, here is how I'd love to see it play out:

No Big Official Announcement: Let her have subtle, unexplained interactions with the group over time. Let the audience naturally pick up on her presence around them until it feels like she just belongs there (e.g., Lola casually leaning against a wall during a Judgment Day backstage segment, or a brief, unspoken nod in the hallway).

Lola & JD McDonagh Dynamic: Explore a gradual, subtle connection between Lola and JD McDonagh. It doesn't need to dominate their characters, just small moments that add intrigue.

A Character Evolution for JD: Over time, JD could naturally become noticeably calmer, darker, and more serious—stepping away from his sarcastic side. The crowd would be left wondering if Lola's presence is changing him, without WWE spelling it out directly.

Maintained Independence: Crucially, both remain their own competitors. Lola continues her own rivalries in the women's division, while JD continues his matches with The Judgment Day.

I think a patient, "show, don't tell" approach like this would make both characters feel much deeper. What are your thoughts on this direction?

TL;DR: WWE should gradually link Lola Vice with The Judgment Day through subtle background interactions, while evolving JD McDonagh into a darker, quieter character—all while both maintain their independent storylines.
