Hello, until after September, or 2 weeks before it - I was able to play a match from the beggining till the end, but later came the updates, to Valorant or Vanguard and something started interfering...
I was using Bitdefender from February this year and up until now, those updates - everything was always working great. I must point out that this issue is strictly technical, not with connection.
My specs are: Radeon 9060XT, Ryzen 7 7800X3D, M2 SSD, 32 Gb DDR5 Ram
and gigabyte's motherboard (dont remember the exact model)
- Those are the things I tried along with support team mails:
I tried deleting logs and config file, setup riot and valorant client
to run as administrator, and updated my AMD drivers trough Adrenalin
- Support emails (I tried everything here, even though they where talking about connection as well):
Email 1. To move further with the investigation, I would like to request
you to perform below steps:
Doing a clean boot before playing might help (avoid manually opening
other apps apart from the game afterward).
❗ Very important: Please make sure to have the checkmark on "Hide
all Microsoft services" before clicking 'Disable All'
❗ Important: After you click the 'Disable All' button, find 'vgc'
and re-check that one.
Additionally, In order to further look into the matter, we'll need
a few logs created by our Riot Repair Tool:
➪ Windows version
Just right click & run it as admin, select the game, and then wait
for the tool to collect the necessary files. Once it's finished,
open the 'Riot Logs' folder from your Desktop, and attach the
.zip files that it contains to your ticket (there should be a
folder called 'System Logs', and a folder with the Logs for the game).
Note: Remember to only download files from trustworthy sources,
and only download tools such as the Riot Tool directly from our
Support website.
Email 2. After reviewing your logs, we noticed some issues.
Your process has many third-party applications running in
the background, and there are problems with your IPv6 configuration.
So, I am giving some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.
Follow this guide on configuring firewalls. These are the filepaths
you need to add:
C:\Riot Games\VALORANT\live\VALORANT.exe
C:\Riot Games\VALORANT\live\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64\VALORANT-Win64-Shipping
C:\Program Files\Riot Vanguard\vgc.exe
C:\Program Files\Riot Vanguard\vgm.exe
C:\Riot Games\Riot Client\RiotClientServices.exe
If this doesn’t resolve your problem, try temporarily
disabling/uninstalling all firewalls/antiviruses from your computer,
except Windows Firewall, which you can only disable. If you want to
try that, the steps are in here.
P.S.: Make sure to only disable this stuff while you are playing,
in case they might be blocking the game, and turn them back on when
you're doing anything else, in order to maintain the security of
your PC
If you're using WiFi, try switching to wired. In almost every case,
using a wired connection is much better for the game, since the WiFi
signal can go up and down, leading to connection issues all of the
sudden. On the other hand, a cable will provide you with a more
stable and reliable connection.
Let's disable the IPv6, since our game works better with IPv4.
Switching to a public DNS may help with the issue you are
experiencing, and here is a tutorial on how to do it properly.
You should try both the Google and the Cloudflare DNS - if one
of them doesn't work, check the other as well!
Let's make sure the Teredo Tunneling interface is disabled because
it might cause connection problems such as yours:
• Open Start Menu
• Type cmd and run it with administrator permissions
• Type the following command: netsh interface teredo set state disabled
Follow this tutorial in order to release/renew your IP, and flush
the DNS.
Try to check if your network adapter drivers are up to date
(follow the steps from here to see how).
Let's go through a power cycle of your router and modem.
Pull out the power cable from both devices (or one if you're using
a router/modem combo device), wait at least 30 seconds, and then
plug them back in.

- We've received quite a few reports about Open VPN, Famatech Radmin VPN, Bit Defender, so I would suggest to disable them and see how it goes? Worry not, you don't have unistall the any of the above things mentioned.
- I've noticed you have other adapters enabled besides the one you're mainly using, and those actually siphon a lot of your bandwidth. To quickly get rid of them, follow these steps: • Open Network Sharing Center by Right click on Network icon beside the clock. • Click on Change adapter Setting link in right side panel. • Select the adapters that are open (except the main Ethernet/WiFi one that you are using) • Right click on them and select Disable
- Disable HW acceleration
- Right-click the desktop, go to "Display Settings" > "Graphics" > "Change default settings", then turn off "hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling
