Hi all, so back in college I was charged with reckless driving (had just gotten my license, manic episode, diagnosed bipolar whatever etc).

I graduated this May and was looking into admin jobs. I knew someone who was lucky and got hired because they were a student worker before so they had connections. They didn’t like their degree and couldn’t get a job in the field and ended up with an easy desk job (their words not mine)….and I’m kind of in the same boat now. I think most jobs on campus require master’s but I don’t plan on getting one, at least not any time soon.

So anyway, given my past how easy would it be? I’ve applied to 1 but I don’t want to get my hopes up/keep looking if there’s no point.

I just wanted to make a post and see if anyone is currently taking this class even in whatever section and wanted to get a group chat together and meet up and do study groups! Message me if ur interested

I have to take that class within the next year but I saw the RMP scores for the professors that teach it are really bad.

I want to prepare by learning as much as I can on my own before I take their classes.

If anyone has taken that class, are the professors as bad as people say on RMP? I took Prof Ho for stat411 and he was absolutely horrendous, I can’t imagine they get worse than him.

Has anyone had Professor Juliana Rodrigues Vieira Tkatch? I can’t find anything on RMP so I’m wondering if she is fairly new to unlv. Just read the syllabus and it’s all group based ://

I intend to apply for master of cybersecurity UNLV, anyone is taking class of this program, please share your experience. I am full time worker, the reason I pick this program because they are live session in the evening.

Anyone here had any success from convincing a prof to bump an 87 to a 90? Any tips?
