It feels like not two minutes go by without a new tool for prototyping appearing on the scene

I'm a Head of Design for a fairly well known technology firm and I've loved seeing my team explore these new tools. It's certainly changing the game. Honestly though, I'm couldn't guess where the market is heading.

General curiosity... What's your design tool stack and how are you sharing your ideas?

Not even Figma escaped. Now with AI, decompiling, understanding and recreating a program has become cheap... those who sell local software with a simple license (desktop tools, plugins, games with weak DRM) will chip. What do you think?

Good evening everyone, I use the Cosmos Music Player application, and I have given a lot of feedback to help the developer improve the UI of their application. I need your opinion. Which design do you prefer for the mini-player (the one at the bottom of the application)
Do you prefer the current design (above) or the suggested design (below)

I want to move away from AI slop webdesign.. Currently, I am making a website for my own startup, and while AI has been a big help, I personally think the design is horrendous and can sometime shy away potential users.

So, I would really appreciate if the community could give me some tips or resources/materials I can study from!
