I’m researching my ancestor Adam Ritenour Sr. (1777–1858), who lived in Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
I came across this photograph of an old handwritten document that I had previously shared during my family research.
I believe it may be a legal or property record, but I’m having difficulty reading the handwriting.
Would anyone be able to help transcribe the document, particularly the names, dates, and any references to Adam Ritenour?
I’m also interested in identifying exactly what type of record this is.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
