B4 u say anything im not specifically talking about this subreddit, im barely active here but im speaking about from what ive seen across the internet and occasionally irl
The trans community cares too much about policing each otherās identitiesā¦I assure you itās not setting us back that Taylor the trans femboy with 15 xenogenders and neopronouns exists without being dysphoric. And itās not hurting anyone that someone doesnāt care to pass because theyāre secure in their identity. The more I study native cultures the more I give less of a shit about gender and Iām saying this as a bigender transmasc person. The fact that gender identity is different and means different things to other cultures only further drives the point in my head that gender isnāt fucking real. You donāt need dysphoria or whatever the fuck to be transš if you donāt align with the specific gender identity assigned at birth youāre trans. You donāt need a reason to understand who you are isnāt who youāve been told you are and I hate that the idea you need to be dysphoric is driven into our heads. For the longest time I had to fight with myself every day telling myself I wasnāt this that and the third because I didnāt hate my body for not being that of a cis manās or wishing I looked masculine or anything else. Itās so irritating seeing ts
And the people usually saying this only push a Eurocentric idea of masculinity too like ewš black trans men have so little rep and are basically forgotten by the community at least in American spaces and you have no idea how BAD I hate it. Discovering your identity as a black trans man is so hard because thereās so little focus on us and to pass weāre told to strip away our blackness basicallyš
Idk, the community acts like everyone it is one anothers enemy and if they arenāt theyāre being pretentious and excluding eachotherš«©

Does having an actively changing voice as an adult cause you trouble? I'm afraid I'm gonna get clocked the second anyone realizes I'm an adult but my voice is cracking. Was it weird to deal with your voice? Did you get assumed to be a kid?

I never felt so relaxed and way more better than I could ever say, I still need to make the binder, but still, YUPPIE š£ļø

As per some other comments on passing asks Iāve made on other subreddits, Iāmma be movin from my rounded glasses to contacts!
Most of the other subreddits though also said for me to get rid of my guyliner which is a bummer but, I understand where theyāre comin from if I wanna pass better, though Iām realizing as a whole I think Iām just trans masc than fully ftm, so Iām taking it kinda with grains of salt.
(Also second image is of me trying on halloween contacts for my costume this year but I meant like, actual.. contacts contacts for myself to wear daily. Lol)

I think I'm looking for some support? Idk. I'm kind of bewildered by whatever just happened. I'm sitting at the bus stop and this guy, probably around my age, walks up to me and just straight up asks "how long have you been transitioning?". I know I don't pass half the time but literally no one has ever done this to me before, so I'm sort of stunned for a sec and thinking about how to respond. I stumble on a few words and them am just like "I don't think I feel comfortable answering that, I don't even know you" to which he let's out a heavy tsk and goes "bro it's a normal question why you gotta be a bitch about it" and he starts walking off and I hear him say "getting offended acting like a fuqin victim" and I go "I'm not offended I just don't know why you're asking me that" and I he just stays all pissy about it under his breath as he gets on his bus like HUH?? You ask the most out of pocket shit to a complete stranger and now you're mad at ME??? I might have even given him a real answer if he was just chill and gave me a reason instead up just assuming I'd be fine with outing myself to some rando. Now I just feel weird like I wanna make myself small, plus now I feel self concious about how clockable I am, which I normally wouldn't care that much about but this was just... du fuq..

Hey yāall, trans masc enby here seeking recommendations of bras for my 32DD chest.
What Iām looking for is something like in the picture, as the ones I have are wearing out from age. This is from Nordstrom rack, but they donāt make this style anymore.
Qualities Iām looking for:
- not a binder (I work with my body and need to have full freedom of movement and breathing, which I found was limited in my experience trying a binder.)
- no boob shaped cups, just continuous flat elastic fabric (I want to flatten my chest to the extent possible without limiting my mobility and breathing.)
- racerback (I tried Nordstrom rackās newer version that had shoulder straps instead, and they easily fell off my shoulders, on top of the whole thing not fitting me right)
- color options are nice, but secondary to function.
Any recommendations of where to shop for something like this, or a specific product that might be a fit? Ideally, Iād like to try things on in person, but since Iāve had so much trouble finding something, Iām open to shopping online as well, as long as I can return.
Thank you!

Hello! I(18f) am not trans, but my brother(18m) is ftm, and I want to get him something to help with his chest. He has a binder, but it's uncomfortable and he can't wear it for extended periods of time. I want to get him something to help him as a Christmas gift, but I don't know the best route to take. Can anybody give me tips or advice on things I could get him?

Iāve given up on doing my shots at this point. I canāt make myself do them, Iām not even that scared of needles. Every time I take one Iām forced to realize Iām gonna have to do this every week for the rest of my life. Iām never gonna escape this. I want more of the effects, I love everything thatās happened so far. Even the acne is gender affirming to me. I just keep holding on and hoping Iām wrong about being trans. It feels so weird accepting that I am, that this is real. It feels so separate from me. I donāt feel attached to the label ātransgenderā Iām just a guy. Iām just a guy whoās tired of fighting for something. Iām so dysphoric I feel pain over typing femininely while writing this. I canāt bother to do my shots, I really canāt bother to do anything. Is this really my life? I donāt feel good about taking my shots, I donāt feel good about transitioning, I just want to wake up and be correct.

I use Tgel so every 2ish months I have to get a refill. For some fucking reason the last 2 times Iāve needed a refill, circumstances got in the way and I couldnāt seem to get it on time without missing about a weeks worth of doses. Back in june I happened to be out of state when I got to the last of my supply. Because the dosage was new I had to actually meet with my provider to get a refill, which I couldnāt do for a WEEK because I wasnāt in my providers state. On day 3 without T I started bleeding again. So whatever, I finally get a refill, I start taking it normally again, my body gets adjusted again, and this past month starts looking promising. Half way through the month, no signs of bleeding at all. Well then this past week and a half Iāve been with my girlfriend in hospital bc of an unforeseen emergency. Because my focus was on more important things, I lost track of how much I had. Ran out on sunday, was only issued a refill yesterday, which will take a few days to hit my pharmacy. Had a rude red awakening this morning. I am so fucking mad. Why does this keep happening to me. It feels like a cycle iām doomed to repeat over and over. I just want solid consistency no missed doses so I donāt have to experience this ever again. This fucking sucks. And now itās gonna take another 2 months for my body to even THINK about stopping its cycle. Fucking god

I will be completely disowned if I come out as trans. I've known I'm trans for 10 years now but I'm utterly terrified to tell anyone

I've been taking 50mg of testosterone cypionate 1x week for ~1 year. I feel great, I'm passing pretty frequently, and I have achieved the voice change and most of the body hair growth I wanted. I've got sideburns, but that's mostly it on the facial hair standpoint. Recently though, my hairline has started moving, and the hair on the top of my head has begun thinning. It's not noticable yet because I had extremely thick hair to begin with. I fear I need to choose between growing a beard or keeping my hair. I know most of what I've already achieved is permanent. I also know that while there are drugs to prevent msle pattern baldness my insurance will likely not cover them. I'm already paying out of pocket for my t and endocrinologist. I will not be able to afford the hairloss drugs on top of that. Has anybody else made this choice? Does anybody have experience pausing their transition for long term periods? If I do stop hrt, I'll likely pick it back up in my 30s or 40s (or whenever I get better insurance).

Im trying to be as nice as I can as I say this without using terminology thatās rude, but I need help finding boxers that lay on my stomach without digging into and and making me look chubbier and less flattering. I donāt HATE the curves I have, but because of this when I have tight waist lines that dig into my hips and stomach it makes it look a lot more unflattering imo and Iām not sure where to go about finding boxers that are more looser when laying on my body if that makes sense. I wouldnāt consider myself fat, Iāve been told continuously Iām not but I also wouldnāt consider myself skinny. Because of this when it gets cut off like that instead of going with the curves of my hips and it makes me insecure. I recently got my first full time job (Iām 17) and saw some calven Klein boxers for sale and got those, thought a medium would work and it does but I feel they donāt lay like how I want. Iāve tried stretching the elastic but it hasnāt changed, idk what brands to go to. I like it when boxers peek out a bit on lower waisted pants but I donāt want it showing if itās making my body look unflattering. I hope I didnāt use bad terminology, I donāt know where to go about looking or asking for help with this. Idc about brand named ones, I just want boxers that lay flat and arenāt restricting.

I recently posted an NSFW picture of my pre transition chest on one of the NSFW ftm subs. Someone sent me a DM to tell me that my post triggered their dysphoria and then they blocked me before I could say anything back. I can't apologize to them directly. I'm sorry if my post made anyone uncomfortable or dysphoric.

So last weekend she just reached over and touched the mini beard I'm starting to grow without asking me and started like stroking it. I didn't say anything because I was so shocked so I just kinda sat there.
This time she asked me if she could touch it and I said no. She was like "come on why not?" and tried touching it anyways so I told her no about 2 more times and pushed her hands away and she still did it. She said "stop being dramatic". Then she said "you're my kid growing a beard so I get to touch it, it's only fair". And then she did touch it and was like "ohhh it's still soft". Then she touched my mustache too.
Ew. Ew ew ew ew. Nope.
Why does she feel entitled to touch me. I'm 20 and I'm capable of saying no. She thought it was a funny thing to do.
Am I overreacting on this. I feel so sick rn. What do I do.
She's made other remarks that altogether are just really focused on my body. Ie is obsessed with if I'll get bottom surgery and keeps asking despite my clear refusal to talk about the subject. She is upset about me taking T because of all the changes like facial hair and voice, and shes upset that I might regret T one day because of "fertility". She also doesn't want me to get top surgery because I "might want to breastfeed one day". She's asked me if I want to use glp-1 weight loss meds like she uses twice now, because she "doesn't think my body can handle the weight gain from hrt". I've gained about 5 pounds. That's it.
I'm not a freaking pet or extension of her body that she can do what she likes with. What is this.

I got elected as a male class representative, almost got caught buy a member of the council that had access to my legal name yet didn't question me much, presented a speech infront of hundreds of students with my pre-T voice and only few people did clock me.
The uni is fucking strict and even has an official rule against homosexuality. We pray before every class and more ! I'm so scared cause I'm not out to my parents yet and if they discover I'm going by "Mr" they'll slime me out.
