Hi everyone.

Recently my prescribing doctor retired and I was replaced with a new one. My previous doctor had been prescribing me my chosen levels of injectable dose that worked best for me even though my trough sat at ~320 pg/mL because mentally this is what works best for me. I had been on this dose for 3.5 years with no issues.

My new doctor ordered me to take a blood test recently and is checking my E and T levels. I’m concerned he may adjust my dose (lower it) and I cannot tolerate that by any means, it would be devastating to my health.

My question is, does anyone have any good research I can point my doctor to in case he tries it with me? I was reading about the UCSF guidelines etc. but it would be amazing if I could point him to research that could support higher E levels for mental dysphoria reasons. To me, the clot risk (if any substantial at all with injectable estradiol valerate) far outweighs the mental dysphoria I experience when my levels drop below 300 pg/mL.

I know maybe wrong sub but, is anyone DIYing with OCD? I am trying but it's triggering my OCD really badly. I am going to try find an OCD therapist but yeah, it's going to take a while. Please no reassurance from people who don't have OCD you don't get it.

I was just wondering if anyone was in a similar boat. The OCD is just as bad as the dysphoria I don't know what to do. Feel like I lose whatever I choose.

I got 200 mg progesterone from boiremovallabs and was a little suspicious considering the price, but it seems to work. It looks like coconut oil in a normal capsule (not a gel capsule), but I boofed one today and it most definitely works, and feels about as strong as prescription strength. hi, i have ordered a vial of hrt and a few syringes & needles and have currently been worrying about a trip to brazil i have in june next year. I want to travel with my estradiol vial and my syringes in my bag but i am not sure how customs in Guarulhos Airport (principal airport in brazil) would deal with it, and how coming back to the UK (through Heathrow) would work aswell, i have heard that it is illegal to bring injectable hrt into the UK which has also worried me a bit more.

I am on 200mg spiro rn and 6mg of estrogen orally. I didn’t do any labs as it’s only been 3 months. Tried to order pills again, but they got seized by customs so I had no choice but to go on injections.

Heard of load dosing to avoid t increasing too much and to keep levels stable, but not sure if it’s a good idea. Something I had a question about is if I should take spiro for a couple weeks while injections get up to speed. I got enough for a month a half or so. Haven’t seen it recommended so I’m curious.

I am trying to take estrogen and possibly a t-blocker, although a friend of mine said they had been just taking enough E to outweigh their T levels and that it worked pretty well.... Monotherapy?

I know I need to check what my t levels are and presumably my e levels too so I know how much to dose. I just don't know what I'm looking for on the webpage. They have an obvious testosterone test...

Hiya, just wondering what possible outcome to expect in a few months after I've previously been off and on estrogen a few times. To be clear and direct a few months ago I went on 4mg estrogen valerate pills (oral) a day roughly for 2 weeks where I saw the following symptoms:

• Chest was a little sore, nipples were definitely sensitive though didn't really hurt.
• Felt unusually cold, especially in my hands and feet.
• Morning wood went away towards end of 2 weeks.

Then after a few months I got on E again for a whole month and only saw morning wood go away and general sense of weightiness in chest, but without any sensitivity or pain.

In a few weeks I'm starting HRT, hopefully forever. But right now I only ordered 2.5 months supply of estrogen valerate pills and spiro 25mg which I will take one half of every day alongside the E.

Basic gist of my question is that I've seen some conflicting ideas, but people generally say going on and off of e at the start hinders future results so maybe someone could clear up what I could expect in the coming 2,5 months and further on?

I've not gotten a response to the emails or order I've placed (first email sent 12 days ago), despite their website updating and valerie.vg stating them as active. Anyone else have any issues with them? From the reviews I've seen people have said they're great, so I'm surprised I'm having issues. Anyone have any advice on what to do?

I just got my bloodwork in today and my trough is now at 496 pg/mL. Last year it was 320 pg/mL. I have been taking the same dose for 3.5 years and it was usually always around the same although in the last year or two I noticed it was steadily climbing.

My testosterone has also been slowly increasing. When I first started monotherapy with injectable estrogen I was between 20-32 ng/dL and now I’m 40 ng/dL.

Not sure what to do next, and my doctor definitely will not be much help. (I posted another post about my new doctor on the forum earlier today)

so i've been on hrt pellet implants for the last two years and my PCP just...disappeared. I am trying to find a new doctor in the Chicago area who will perform this procedure for me. i know it's usually not covered by insurance and that is fine. i've heard a good way to find a doctor who will do this is word of mouth so please reply or dm if you've got a lead :)
