Xiaolin Showdown - In the second episode Clay, who is heavy and slow is challenged by Jack Spicer to a showdown where the goal is to catch a bird. Jack and all of Clay's fellow monks doubt him. This is even more so as Clay doesn't even go after the bird and starts picking some leaves. This however leads to the bird going directly to Clay to eat the leaves that Clay picked. They could've easily made him the brute force character, but no, Clay is incredibly clever

Mulan - The challenge was to climb a pole with heavy medallions on each hand. Instead of trying to just climb it, Mulan wraps the medallions around the pole, which allows her to reach the top

Captain America: First Avenger - The challenge was to grab a flag at the top of the pole. Most of the other soldiers attempted to climb it to no avail. Steve Rogers instead removed the pole's support, causing it to fall

I was never a cat person. My wife and I already had two cats when she saw Mona at an adoption event. We were told she had an autoimmune disease and would need medicine daily for life. They also said she never came out of her cage and just slept all day. I had no desire to deal with all that, but my wife just had to save her.

It took less than a day for her to choose me as her person. Then she changed my life. She showed me how to be a cat dad and showed me so much love that I didn't know was possible. I now have great loving relationships with both our other cats. I give Mona all the credit for that. We only got 5 years with her, it's never long enough but damnit 5 years is nothing. I'll never forget her and she will be in my heart forever.

At first I thought the video was reversed but I was wrong..

The Disney's Hercules TV series had a crossover with Aladdin 4 years after "Aladdin and the forty thieves", which had served as a finale of the Aladdin series.

Lilo and Stitch had a crossover with Recess 5 years after that series' final episode.

Tojima Wants to be a Kamen Rider had a crossover with Air Master over 15 years after that manga ended.

Super Sentai has several of these, so to put an example, the Hurricangers had a crossover with Gokaigers 9 years after the series ended

Reborn as a Vending Machine has a crossover with "I'll dominate the Fields" another Web Novel from the same author which had ended about 6 years before it

Here I am, (3m) With my mum (old f) We were hanging out one day having a brilliant time. We were having a deep conversation about our favourite dinosaur, when all of a sudden my mum says that there's something cool behind me. Not being one to give up this golden opportunity, I turn around, but alas there was nothing of interest to be found. When i looked back, My mum had abandoned me.

No idea how the hell she expects me to survive, Think I'm going to have to call the police, report her missing. If anyone has any information, please come forwards. Her name is Mum, she's about Thiiiis tall. Please respond with any leads.

EDIT FOR CLARIFICATION: the light wood is the dresser, the dark wood is a jewelry box and the missing finish is between the bracelet and the box!

My daughter is into these clay beads. She made me a bracelet and I tossed it onto my new dresser after wearing it. And it sat for a month-ish. Went to pick it up today to dust, and it was stuck there, and pulled the finish off!? 😩

Everything is perfect.

This introduction tells us everything we need to know about Letho without him saying a single word. He is brutal, ruthless, and an unstoppable force. The only thing we don't know yet (at this point in the story) is why. And this music? GODDAMN, this music! It's so perfect. A calm yet epic track that perfectly mirrors Letho's movements and grace.

This introduction alone makes Letho a far more compelling and interesting character than Eredin ever was.

Honestly, if you haven't played The Witcher 2 yet, go play it. It has some of the best set pieces and the best story in the entire trilogy!
