No Spoilers I GOT A REPLY FROM JARED EMERSON-JOHNSON, THE COMPOSER BEHIND TELLTALE'S THE WALKING DEAD SEASON 1 SOUNDTRACK!!!
Honestly, this made my day.
I got a reply from Jared Emerson-Johnson, the composer behind the music of Telltale's The Walking Dead Season 1, and I'm genuinely so happy about it.
I shared some images with him, especially related to my favourite track, The Gauntlet ie Armed with Death.
These tracks have always stuck with me. The music in Telltale's TWD is such a huge part of what makes the game memorable, and Armed with Death in particular is just incredible.
Never really expected to get a response, so seeing one from the actual composer feels pretty surreal. Just wanted to share this here because I figured people in this sub would understand why I'm so excited about it.
Still can't believe it haha.

Is it possible for me to tell Lee that Kenny was a convicted murderer if I save Doug?
II’m replaying The Walking Dead. In my previous playthrough, I saved Carley, but this time I chose Doug. I noticed that Carley is the one who gives Lee the opportunity to tell the group about his past as a convicted killer. Since I saved Doug, is there another dialogue option where I can tell Kenny about Lee’s past? Also, if Kenny finds out about Lee’s past through Lilly instead, does that negatively affect Kenny’s willingness to help Lee save Clementine?

Season 2 Spoiler Let's talk about S2 for a bit
I recently replayed S3 + S2 (in the wrong order, I know), and I'm very curious to ask y'all something.
I know that there are many opinions on S2, especially regarding the ending. But I'm gonna give you all an opportunity to talk about 1) What you liked about S2? and 2) what you did not like?
Personally, I prefer S2 over S3 + S4, mainly because I think S2 captures the same bleak tone as S1 (if not bleaker). Upon revisiting both S2 and S3, the emotional weight is undeniably incomparable.
On the other hand, I do find it very frustrating how everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) seem to depend on an 11-yo to do EVERYTHING. I get that it'd be boring to have Clem do nothing, sure, but it would not have hurt to have a few more competent adults >.<

Sub Game T.W.D.G. All Out War - Battle Post #4
We're back with the Fourth Round! Here's yesterday's top comments
Lilly (Oregon) goes into Defense Mode (2 Upvotes)
Tavia (Nevada) invades Clinton (California) (2 Upvotes)
Pete (Guam) bombs Ben (Palau), Abel (Hawaii), and Samantha (NM Islands) (1 Upvote)
Here's what happened
Lilly's Defense Mode healed her 12 HPs, she's now on 17/25 HP
Tavia's wannabe invasion failed costing her 11 HPs, leaving her on 14/25 HPs... Clinton's invincible I guess
Pete's bombings were the real winners here, dealing 5 HPs to Ben who's now on 16/25 HPs, 8 HPs to Abel who's on 17/25 HPs now, and 15 HPs (the max for a bomb attack) on Samantha who's now on 10/25 HPs
Let's see what's next!

Sub Game Who should've made it - Day 29: Mitch's impulses couldn't win this time and he died in the dark and damp basement... Now the truth comes out, who takes Marlon's place and who's the shooter? (Read Description first)
Major Character Fates and Deaths we'll be discussing throughout the season:
- Omar took Minerva's place as the brainwashed Delta Soldier
- Mitch took Brody's death in the basement
- Who takes Marlon's place? and Who takes AJ place as the shooter? *(*Shot and killed with a revolver after confessing to trading away Omar and Sophie, plus murdering Brody)
- Who takes Mitch's place? *(*Stabbed in the neck with a knife during the Delta's raid)
- Who takes Louis and Violet's place in the raid? (Who is captured and who is saved)
- Who takes Abel's place? *(*Severely injured and falls from a balcony; dies of internal bleeding).
- Who takes James' place? (Killed/Dissapointed by whoever takes Lilly's place in the final fight in the boat)
- Who takes Lilly's place? (Killed/Spared by whoever takes AJ's place in the final fight in the boat)
- Who takes Minerva's place? *(*Severely bitten and mauled by walkers on the bridge, it doesn't have to be her counterpart, Omar)
- Tenn (This one is determinant, but we'll have it as canon. He's killed in order to save whoever takes Violet's or Louis spots.
- Clementine (We are making it canon here. Is bitten on the leg by a walker and but down by in the barn)
TODAY: Who takes Marlon's death and who shoots?
So, everyone knows how this goes:
You comment to kill and/or defend a character to influence the fate being discussed today. Keep in mind that insightful comments count as 3 votes! The idea is to give some extra weight to people who put a bit more thought into their arguments, rather than simply leaving a name.
What counts as an insightful comment? It doesn't have to be an essay, not stress over writing a book, this is just made so the people who bothers to leave a thought feels somewhat rewarded. Just give a thoughtful argument, an interesting perspective, or a solid explanation of why you think a character deserves their fate. A little reasoning goes a long way, and these are purely judged in base of that, not whether I agree with them or how popular the opinion is.
Simply repeating a character's name or saying you agree with someone will count as a vote, but is not the same
A quick disclaimer:
This is just a fun community game, not a serious competition.
The insightful vote bonus is only meant to reward people who put extra thought into their comments. It isn't meant to invalidate anyone else's opinion or turn every discussion into a debate. You can still participate with a simple comment, and nobody is expected to write an essay to have their voice heard.
No need to stress over it

Season 2 Spoiler This is why season 2 feels so miserable
In season 2, the writers did a very bold thing: they introduced Clem to a brand new big group in episode 1, made her build links with them until the end of episode 3 and then proceeded to kill them all off except for Luke by the end of episode 4. And they even gave Luke a terrible injury, so he was doomed. That's just brutal.
By episode 5, it's very grim for Luke. He lost EVERYONE and he is feeling so guilty about it. He barely knows the people left with him.
The group by midway of episode 5 is Kenny, Jane, Bonnie, Mike, Clem and a baby. Not a single cabin group member left to participate in the climax of the story. It's as if they were just lost to time. It's so incredibly eerie.
There's also Kenny... He was living peacefully in the lodge with Sarita, Walter and Matthew until Clementine came back to his life and brought her new group with her. Everything went completely downhill for Kenny from that moment. She even woke back up his grief for his dead son Duck.
And Clem, she was an 11yr old kid having no choice but to rely on toxic adults for her survival. They were fighting the whole time from ep1 to ep5. Luke dies brutally, Mike and Bonnie betray her by trying to escape with Arvo who then tries to kill her, and Kenny her only protector left, becomes a volatile bomb around everyone else, and she is given the huge task to reason with him. Oh and there was Jane who kept trying to convince Clem to abandon people like she did. And after Luke died, only an injured grieving man and a scared 11yr old girl were willing to work hard for the baby's survival. Everyone else saw AJ as a burden.
In episode 1, Clem's group is a united family. They have their flaws but they genuinely care a lot for each other. In episode 5, it's a bunch of strangers who hate each other forced to work together to not freeze to death.
Edit: I just want it make it clear, I love Season 2. These are actually things I enjoyed during Season 2, because they made the whole season really feel like the absolute peak period of hopelessness during the apocalypse.

Season 2 Spoiler Why Arvo is not as bad as you think
A lot of people see Arvo as purely evil, but I honestly think there's more to him than that. To me, he's just a scared teenager who's been through a lot of trauma and doesn't really know how to deal with it.
One of the biggest reasons people hate him is the ambush at the end of Episode 4. The main argument is that even if you choose not to steal from him, he still sets you up. But honestly, I'm not convinced the ambush was even his idea in the first place.
Throughout the entire confrontation, Arvo seems more guilty and terrified than anything else. He's visibly miserable, keeps stumbling over his words, desperately begs everyone to stop fighting, and even looks genuinely shocked when he realizes there's a baby with the group.
My theory is that when Arvo told his group he'd been robbed/threatened, the others decided to go after the group for revenge and forced him to come along. Arvo always struck me as a pretty peaceful and coward person, and I don't think he has much say in what his group does. The other guys seem to be the ones calling the shots. If I remember correctly, you can even try to make a deal with Arvo during the confrontation, and he seems willing to consider it, only for one of the other guys to tell him to decline.
Then there's the frozen lake scene and Luke's death. I don't think Arvo deliberately planned for that to happen, but even if he did, I still don't think his actions after the shootout can be explained by him being pure evil. There's clearly a lot more going on.
Imagine desperately trying to save your sick sister, only to watch her and everyone else in your group die. Then, instead of being given any time to process what happened, you're taken hostage and subjected to constant abuse by someone who treats you like a punching bag.
And let's be real, a lot of Arvo's actions toward the end are directly tied to Kenny's treatment of him. Being subjected to that kind of relentless cruelty, especially after losing everything, could push just about anyone to their breaking point.
What's interesting is that we see a similar pattern with Kenny himself. The more people he loses and the more trauma he goes through, the more volatile and aggressive he becomes. Both characters are shaped by their suffering, and both end up lashing out at others because of it.
That's why I think Arvo shooting Clementine is more complicated than people make it out to be. I'm not saying what he did was okay, and I'm definitely not trying to justify shooting Clem. But after everything that happened, I can see how the constant abuse from Kenny pushed Arvo into a state of desperation where he just snapped and acted out of pure survival instinct.
I just think Arvo is a much more tragic and complex character than people give him credit for. He's not innocent, obviously, but I don't think he's the one-dimensional villain so many players make him out to be.

Final Season Spoiler Inconsistent?
I finished the whole series and am replaying it again
And I always wondered, was the reason Lee cutting off his arm didn't work because it was too late or did they just not want to kill Clem in the last season?
Cause I think them backing out of the already sorta cheap full circle was weird, especially because we go the whole series believing that it doesn't work-
