Discussion If the characthers of TOH were in ATLA wich would have been their elements, and wich one would not bend, and what would've been their equivalent characthers?

I know that's a lot of questions but this has been really stuck to my head latelly.

I between luz being the equivalent to Aang , the avatar, since they both wanted to know and kind became master of all kinds of magic of their respective words , both being super enegetic, joyfull, playfull, and full of trauma since a youg age, and, even thouth that, they stayed beig the sunshine characthers, scaring the hell of us the the few times the really got angry, and I don't think I need to talk about Amity and Katara having the same você autor.

But in the other hand we have luz being the equivalent to Soka, a non bender, with both of then having a kind of an unadventage, being one of only ones in their teams/worlds to not have some kind of natural power, and, instead of making them weaker, it made the oposite, forcing hen into developing new skills that the rest normally wouldn't ust cause they ddidn'thad the need to, like them both knowing kind well to fight hand to hand even with opponents much bigger and more trained than them, or, even though their impulsives personallitys they knew very well how to use their big brains when needed, like doing some plans REALLY FAST, and kind of becoming the "lider" of their groups for that, like, they were not convencionally smart, but they were one of the, if not the, smartest person in their groups.

And we cannot forget all the other characters, of course.

Fan Fiction Chapter ten is going to be wild!

It's coming this Friday! King makes new friends; the gang has fun in the lake and encounters new creatures: Robo Hooty, Shark-Bean, LORE!!! Plus more world-building and a major character death, though not one of our protagonists or supporting roles.

Discussion What inspired the creation of the show?

So sorry if this was asked here before because I was interested in seeing how the creator had made the show as I was wondering what novels she used as inspiration for it.

Recently, I started reading Harry Potter as I know the franchise is long done, but I got the first book for free as I started seeing stuff like magical academies and owl familiars that I was wondering if Dana Terrace was influenced by the series when she made the Owl House series.

Discussion Would anyone else love a prequel novel on The Collector's origins?

Thumbnail

IIRC, Dana said she was open to doing more novel's in the future if the recent one ended up being successful. I'd love to see a book all about the origins of The Collector and the Archivists. How they were born from the stars, them meeting the Titans, the Archivists wiping out the Titans, The Collector being sealed and maybe finally ending with The Collector meeting Belos. The Collector's such an interesting character despite only being in the 2nd half of the show and originally not even meant to be a part of the series, he genuinely just has so much interesting potential.

Discussion What do you think human-witch hybrids are like? Spoiler

It is apparently possible, as Caleb Wittenbane had a child with the witch Evelyn, making him an ancestor of the Clawthorne sisters. However, this was many generations ago so Eda and Lilith despite carrying a small amount of human DNA (just as most modern Homo sapiens carry a small amount of Neanderthal DNA), they are fully witch in every meaningful way. Likewise I imagine a hybrid who intermarried with full humans would have descendants without any detectable witch traits.

I think it would be interesting to speculate on first, second, to third generation hybrids and what traits they may have.

Externally, humans and most witches have only superficial differences, the most common one being that humans typically have rounded ears while witches generally have pointed ears. But there are a few other external differences we sometimes see, as some witches have from a human perspective unusual eye or hair colors, and we see some witches with traits like a third eye (whether or not this is an unusually trait within witches or a produce of intermarriage between witches and demons we don’t know).

Internally humans and witches have more different. The most prominent is that witches have an extra organ called a bile sack that gives them the natural ability to harness magic. Other differences is that witches and humans have different digestive systems, with humans being unable to eat many Demon Realm foods (I don’t know if witches have trouble eating some human foods). I presume witches are a bit more physically durable than humans, though that may just be cartoon logic.

All this being said, let’s speculate about a first generation hybrid. I wonder if they would typically either have the ears of their human or witch parent, or if that could vary on a case by case basis, or if they might have an ear shape in between? I also wonder if they would typically inherent a bile sack and a natural affinity for magic (which would make them basically indistinguishable from a witch despite human heritage) or if that would also be a case by case basis thing (we have a sample size of zero as we know nothing of Caleb and Evelyn’s child, other than they existed and is an ancestor to the very much witch Clawthorne family). I also wonder if they may still have some food allergies, though I imagine they’d have to be more suited to the diet of the Demon Realm than their human parent.

Discussion Do you think Amity being a Grudgby captain was either Odalia or Boscha's choice?

We all know that Amity was never her own person or valued that one as Odalia made every choices for her, controlling her life.

Today’s the 4 year anniversary of Thanks to Them so I wanted to post one of my favorite scenes. I love Gus’s subversion of the witch trial and I love seeing Jacob get arrested.

I can’t stop thinking about Flapjack today though…

How much do you think Gus saw when looking into Belo’s mind?

Do you think he knew about Luz’s trip to the past? If not how do you think he would have reacted if he had seen it there?
