I did amity again in the same panel but with pencil, specifically 4b graphite by four candies. No erasure because I can't find the eraser

inktober day 14
have a slightly mysterious luz. her papers are usually square but it didn't look as nice to get the "fan" effect
reeeeally stepping outside my comfort zone here, i feel very clumsy with shading/lighting. still have a lot to learn

How much do you think Gus saw when looking into Belo’s mind?
Do you think he knew about Luz’s trip to the past? If not how do you think he would have reacted if he had seen it there?

I believe that Abominations have 4 stages of life that they go through and will list them all here and detail the traits of each and the witches stage of magical ability that uses them! (This is based off of the book Long Lived King and the show.)
1st stage: What I call the Cauldron Stage, at this stage it has little magic within the clay/slime and is kept in a cauldron so that when the witch that controls the clay stops focusing on the magic it retains as much magic as possible by letting it flow around with itself and not using it to retain a form. The witch at this stage usually is learning how to shape the Abomination and consolidate magic within the clay.
2nd stage: The Retaining Stage, the clay at this point has absorbed enough magic that a cauldron is no longer needed as it has enough magic to retain a form for longer periods of time and can absorb magic around it easier, but still requires a witch to be around for magic to be absorbed. The witch at this stage is good enough to be able to not focus on the casting and commanding of the Abomination, but the starting of this stage can also lead to the witch accidentally commanding it to do the same actions they conduct. Such as high-fiveing somone in the face.
3rd stage: The Form Stage, the magic in the clay has absorbed so much that it can more easily condense and shape into objects, it can even be used to transport people and envelop them to create a liveing armor/weapon. This stage is rarely reeched by normal witches due to the amount of magic within the clay being a large ask and skill required to shape it. Which is why it is commonly done in small amounts of clay and not full Abominations unless they have mastered the art of Abominations.
4th stage: The Drying Stage, the clay at a certain point will dryout leading to the Abomination and magic dissipating. If the Abomination Death Ritual is undertaken it refules the swamp/marsh/etc. it came from with magic fuling nature with the magic it absorbed. If the ritual is not undertaken the magic releases and dissipates with the dust, with little to none returning to nature.
The Abomatons made by Blight Industries are fuled by the Magic in the pink thing in the chest which is why the Abomatons are able to form weapons due to the emense amount of magic within the clay produced by the pink thing.
This is all speculation though and would love to hear your thoughts!
(Also I theorise that the art first came about by nature, with Abominations first being mass amounts of magic within the ground near the clay leading to the creation of an Abomination that protect the groves they spawned from!)
(Sorry if there are misspellings or run-ons this thought came abount in the dead of night for me.)

Today’s the 4 year anniversary of Thanks to Them so I wanted to post one of my favorite scenes. I love Gus’s subversion of the witch trial and I love seeing Jacob get arrested.
I can’t stop thinking about Flapjack today though…

Ah, Celine. You certainly have an eye for the future. Meanwhile, yours is as bright as... the moon itself!

I know that's a lot of questions but this has been really stuck to my head latelly.
I between luz being the equivalent to Aang , the avatar, since they both wanted to know and kind became master of all kinds of magic of their respective words , both being super enegetic, joyfull, playfull, and full of trauma since a youg age, and, even thouth that, they stayed beig the sunshine characthers, scaring the hell of us the the few times the really got angry, and I don't think I need to talk about Amity and Katara having the same você autor.
But in the other hand we have luz being the equivalent to Soka, a non bender, with both of then having a kind of an unadventage, being one of only ones in their teams/worlds to not have some kind of natural power, and, instead of making them weaker, it made the oposite, forcing hen into developing new skills that the rest normally wouldn't ust cause they ddidn'thad the need to, like them both knowing kind well to fight hand to hand even with opponents much bigger and more trained than them, or, even though their impulsives personallitys they knew very well how to use their big brains when needed, like doing some plans REALLY FAST, and kind of becoming the "lider" of their groups for that, like, they were not convencionally smart, but they were one of the, if not the, smartest person in their groups.
And we cannot forget all the other characters, of course.
