Many years ago, I created a profile called Brandon vs. Britney as a bit of harmless fun, since some people thought Brandon and Britney from the Old Testament looked alike. Direct hits was funnily enough my introduction to The Killers because I heard Just Another Girl and Shot At The Night on my youtube recommended before I ever heard Mr. B. Even now, those two songs are some of my favorites by this band (especially just another girl), and that makes me wonder what it would theoretically be like if direct hits was a full album (with the killers’ average of 11 tracks and 3 singles, 2 of which being the two already-existing direct hits originals). Do you think those two songs would chart better with an album backing them? What would the 3rd single be like? How would the album change in style after the response to Battle Born?

Long shot, but I missed out on tickets when they first went on sale. With it being such a small venue and demand being so high, they disappeared in no time.

I'd love to take my daughter. She's actually the reason my love for The Killers was reignited. We watched their Glastonbury set together back in 2019, and even as a 2-year-old she was bouncing away beside me as the hits blasted out. Since then, The Killers and Brandon have been a daily soundtrack in our house for her and my two boys. From the classics to the newer material, it all gets played. Thrasher has become a staple of the school run the last couple of months!. We also have a 4-month-old daughter who'll be getting the same treatment!

We saw The Killers in Dublin two years ago, which was extra special as it was 17 years after the previous time I saw them at the RDS. Ever since then, we've been hoping to do it all again.

So, if anyone ends up unable to make this show, whether it's last minute or otherwise, I'd be incredibly grateful if you reached out. I can promise the tickets would be going to a very appreciative home. 😊

I’m compiling a playlist of songs Brandon has recommended in his various interviews throughout the Thrasher era press tour. Did I miss any?

The first two shows of the UK leg of the tour (Bournemouth and London) took place without much deviation from the average setlist. The Red Ground returned as show opener after WTFLV opened the two Vegas shows. Both Bournemouth and London got WYWY in the cover slot, which in the past few shows has seen it more often than not replaced. Not much else to report! The next update will probably be after the York show on the 21st, which should be the second-to-last update unless we get another leg announced.
