Discussion THRASHER Megapost

As THRASHER is actually imminent it's time for the megapost! Discuss the new album from Brandon Flowers here! What do you love? What do you want to see live? Not your vibe? On repeat for days? Let's hear it all!

As a reminder, unofficial leaks are not allowed to be distributed or even discussed on this subreddit. We are all getting the album within the next 36-ish hours (sooner for those of you where it is already Thursday), so please do not share illegal leaks.

Megathread r/TheKillers Ticket Marketplace - Started June 2026

Hello r/TheKillers!

Here's your ticket marketplace to buy, sell, and exchange tickets to see The Killers/Brandon Flowers Solo LIVE!

Rules for the ticket marketplace are as follows:

  1. Legit tickets and ISO requests only. If it comes to light that you are posting fakes for sale on the sub, you will be banned. If you encounter fake tickets or a scammer, please send modmail with the users name.
  2. Tickets can be sold for face value plus fees listed on the ticket, no more. Keep in mind some venue fees are stupid high, but do not gouge the price, and be prepared to show the receipts if it is stupid high. The mod team is not policing the ticket prices, it's the honor system here. If you have physical tickets and will be shipping them, you may discuss a shipping fee but please keep this reasonable - no need to overnight if the concert is over a year away.
  3. Parent responses should contain either an "ISO Request" or "Tickets for Sale". Please include the show location/date, number of tickets, and if selling - price.
  4. No links to stubhub/seatgeek/etc. - the sites with stupid fees. Twickets is fine since they make it face value.
  5. Keep in mind you're dealing with strangers from the internet so be smart. The mod team is not responsible for any transactions or things that go wrong. But, don't hesitate to message or ping us if someone is causing problems.

This thread was created June 24, 2026 and will remain active and updated as changes come in. Be sure to check your venue for regulations and rules as well as changes and updates!

Question Dublin, Ireland - Olympia Theatre Oct 27th. Tickets?

• Upvotes

Long shot, but I missed out on tickets when they first went on sale. With it being such a small venue and demand being so high, they disappeared in no time.

I'd love to take my daughter. She's actually the reason my love for The Killers was reignited. We watched their Glastonbury set together back in 2019, and even as a 2-year-old she was bouncing away beside me as the hits blasted out. Since then, The Killers and Brandon have been a daily soundtrack in our house for her and my two boys. From the classics to the newer material, it all gets played. Thrasher has become a staple of the school run the last couple of months!. We also have a 4-month-old daughter who'll be getting the same treatment!

We saw The Killers in Dublin two years ago, which was extra special as it was 17 years after the previous time I saw them at the RDS. Ever since then, we've been hoping to do it all again.

So, if anyone ends up unable to make this show, whether it's last minute or otherwise, I'd be incredibly grateful if you reached out. I can promise the tickets would be going to a very appreciative home. 😊

Pretty cool to see Brandon’s record get called out as the inspiration for the production on the Hilary Duff record, especially when you wouldn’t normally think of them having the same sound.

Mentioned at 3:24 and 7:46

Upon searching this sub it seems the fanbase is a bit split on him, but I have been obsessed with this new album.

Anyone else been spinning it lately? Thoughts?

To all those entitled people moaning that they didn’t get the barrier, the venue let those people with registered disabilities in first. Get over it. A more entitled bunch of moaning people, I cannot recall. It’s like Edinburgh all over again.

BMN is one of my all-time favorite hot fuss songs. But every time I see people rank the album, BMN is always at the bottom. Why is that?

Opinion The more I listen to Thrasher the more I love it

I’ve been really loving Thrasher since seeing it live. Maybe hearing him speak about the songs made it click more. I feel this in particular with One of Us. It’s such a beautiful song in memory of his brother in law but there’s one part in particular that gets me. It’s when he goes: “It’s you in your children’s voices, it’s you in their eyes”

It’s this kind of writing and music that makes me love brando and the killers so much 😩

Anyone feel this way about a particular song or lyric from Thrasher?

been saving tons of pictures of brandon that remind me of elvis and also the other way around on pinterest and i finally put them together side by side, i'm obsessed with the final result, maybe some of these looks/moments were unintentional and not inspired by anyone in particular but i love how you can see little crumbs of elvis (and other singers like orbison and springsteen) in everything brandon does ♡
