Scratchbuilt I made a Paper Graveyard
I am back again with another paper tile set! I wasnt planing on doing a new set so soon after the last one, but I really wanted something for Halloween. I thought some spooky story in a graveyard setting could be a fun adventure with the kid ^^
I wanted to try some wall tiles with some spikes and a new grass tile set too, something more bleak ^^ Coffins, gravestones and I also did a small Mausoleum, nothing fancy but it add some character to the Graveyard ^^ I think i will expand it more later on, but for now Im pretty happy!
Yes the goose is a wizard, You know it.
Enjoy!

WIP Help with MDF warping
So as I was working on my Tree bases, I noticed they started to warp slighty. I figured it was due to the fact I left the underside completely untreated and did not seal it.
I have read on severel posts/threads that covering the underside with a PVA coat should reverse or at least prevent further warping. I applied a thin, undilluted PVA coat, as to not add any more unnecessary moisture to the MDF. Now after the coat has dried, I noticed that the warping has gotten even worse !
Is there any way I can salvage this or do from this point on ? What did I do wrong/ what to do better for the future ?

3D Printed The finished cathedral front
I posted some photos of the resin pour element of this tile the other day and there was a very humbling amount of interest in it.
Thought I'd come back and show you what is the 99% finished article, this will make up 1/8th of the finished board which itself is being made from other parts of the 3D printed cathedral.
I very much took on board the excellent constructive criticism from people about the edge of the water being too green, so I've corrected that since and I think it looks a lot better

Scratchbuilt Hedgerows
I had made these some time ago but today I finally added mud to the edges and they look much better!
Cardboard, coconut fibre, flock and static grass, acrylic mud. Sprayed the grass with green yellow and brown to give them a late summer finish

WIP Junk castle gate, part 2
I’ve finished all the brickwork; all that’s left is a bit of decoration – which I haven’t quite decided on yet – some plastering, and a simple gate, most likely a removable one.

Will it warp?
I'm getting ready to build a board for 1490 doom, and I'm planning to use this as the base:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BGQLZDFZ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_16?smid=A16MN3OLPK0LWU&psc=1
I'm planning on covering the surface with an acrylic caulk, sand and paint mixture to create some simple textures that we can add modular towers, walls, etc to when setting up to play.
I've not used a wooden base like this before, and I'm curious if my plan will cause the base to warp. Anyone done anything similar without warping?

Questions for the Community New to the terrain building part of the hobby, In search of advice
Hello, as per title I'm kinda a newbie here but I'm planning to build some jungle terrain for Warhammer 40k Kill Team.
Right now I've got some XPS Foam and some Foamed PVC (3 mm) and I'm looking to acquire the rest of the materials in the next month or so (plastic model palm trees, aquarium plants, polystyrene foam glue).
Would it be fine to use as a base for the XPS the PVC or should I buy some MDF?
Which type of dry wall compound would you use on top of the XPS or should I use ak foam texturizer and sealer?
And last but not least as a texture for the terrain, should I mix the dry wall compound with sand and the polystyrene foam glue (or which other glue)?
Thank you for you time!
