I just had monitoring today and progesterone went down to 5 (8dpo) and was 10.44 on 3dpo. I also feel light cramping. Super discouraged.

i'm starting to think the format matters more to me than i expected. i don't mind capsules, but when i'm already taking a few of them each day, adding another handful doesn't exactly make the routine more appealing. gummies seem convenient too, but i'm not sure i want something that feels more like a candy than a supplement.
that's what got me looking at prenatal vitamin powder. i've seen options from a few different brands, and Needed's powder has caught my attention because it seems like a reasonable middle ground between taking several capsules and going with gummies, and it still has the choline and methylfolate i keep coming back to on labels.
if you've used a prenatal powder for a while, did you actually prefer it enough to stick with it, or did you end up going back to pills?

Rituals are important in every society, but they tend to focus on positive moments (graduations, weddings, etc), and there are very few meaningful spaces or rituals for infertility and pregnancy loss (Japan’s mizuko kuyō, or “water child” shrines, are an exception that you can read more about on this wikipedia page ). October 15th is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, and at 7pm that night, people light a candle for their losses. But what about the times in between when people want to mourn their losses? And what about the other reasons we in the infertility community have for grieving?
Rituals are important for processing our emotions and gaining closure, which is why at the end of each month, we’ll be providing an opportunity for people to create their own ritual for whatever it is their grieving and share it here. This post will be shared a few days before the end of each month. The idea is that with the closing of the month, you can take some time to reflect on your recent grief, perform a ritual, and do some processing, with the possibility of being a bit more ready for the new month and the possibilities it holds.
This thread is intentionally loose on guidelines in order to be as inclusive of possible. You might be mourning something tangible, like a miscarriage, failed transfer, failed IUI, or failed timed intercourse cycle. Maybe you’re grieving that your IVF results aren’t as good as you hoped, and are feeling sad about your abnormal embryos, or the fertilized eggs that didn’t survive to become embryos, or the fact that your IVF cycle yielded no embryos at all. Perhaps you’re pursuing donor eggs or donor embryos are are grieving the loss of a genetic connection. Maybe you’ve gotten a heavy diagnosis. Maybe you’re sad that you’ve been benched and haven’t been able to do any treatment in the last month, or that you’re still waiting for an appointment at a clinic, or that you don’t have insurance coverage and need to save, or simply can’t afford certain treatments. Maybe a close friend or relative announced their pregnancy or had a baby, and you’re sad that you can’t fully feel happy for them while navigating your own infertility. Maybe you’re just grieving the fact that you’re here at all. Remember, there are no pain olympics here, and no matter what it is that you’re grieving, your pain is valid.
The idea here is to hold space and honor the different types of grief that we are all experiencing, and give ourselves a dedicated time to process the hardships and traumas of the month. This is not a toxic positivity thing: there is no expectation that because you’ve done a ritual that you should now be able to magically move on. This is simply a chance for us to process some feelings, which is an essential part of healing and not something that we get the opportunity to do in a society where most of us don’t even share our struggles with others, share our rituals, and support each other.
I did some research on grief rituals, and here’s a list of options that fit within our context. This is just a starting point - feel free to create your own or modify these as you see fit. You are welcome to share a photo and/or describe your ritual and what it is you’re grieving at this moment.
These ones apply more to feelings of loss to me, but might be a good option for those who have gone through a miscarriage or feel some other form of loss, such as a failed transfer (loss of the embryo):
Over the next few days, up until the last day of the month, this space will be for sharing what you’re grieving and the ritual you did to honor and process your grief. Feel free to link to a photo of your ritual. You’re also welcome to simply write about what you’re grieving without doing a separate ritual - the writing is the ritual in that case.

Welcome to the monthly secondary infertility thread. This is a free space to discuss issues relating to secondary infertility without pesky content warnings.
As always you may discuss things anywhere in the sub, but outside of here you must use a content warning.
Women with primary infertility are welcome to comment or ask questions here.
The same rules apply here as they do outside this thread (except the content warning) and any type of insulting or negative comments will not be tolerated.
Those with secondary fertility are always welcome in this sub, and this weekly post will still be here, but if you want a full sub dedicated to secondary infertility there's the wonderful place of /r/SecondaryInfertility you can also participate in.

TRIGGER WARNING: Previous loss
guess I’ll start by sharing I (26F) and my husband (24M) have been trying to conceive since June 2025. Everytime we’ve tried we’ve gotten pregnant. My first pregnancy was a chemical miscarriage, second was miscarriage @ 8 weeks, very low hcg.
After our second we reached out to our local fertility clinic. All my tests looked good, tubes open. The only “concern” was my history Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) in 2017, and low AMH for my age. When I had PID I had heavy bleeding and an enlarged right tube. This was treated and all was good until now.
Our first medicated timed intercourse cycle worked. Hcg was doubling, but I ended up with a right sided tubal pregnancy and had that tube removed.
Once I had recovered we repeated saline sono which showed “no fill or spill of tubes on either side”. I was pretty devastated. My clinic referred us to an ivf clinic who sort of just pushed ivf onto us due to my low AMH. I live in Canada so we do have 1 funded cycle but meds are still very pricey, it would be a huge financial burden to start this but we are prepared to if we must. We’ve agreed on 2 egg retrieval rounds if the first doesn’t go well, and then take it from there if it was more bad news after 2 retrievals.
We had everything lined up to start ivf this month (end of September) but my local fertility doctor said that if I want I could repeat the saline sono as sometimes when they do the test your tubes and uterus can spasm and cause that false “closed” result. I did this, and it turns out my left tube is open. What a roller coaster man. We now have put ivf on hold and will try some more timed intercourse cycles with letrozole as I responded very well to that, and financially it would be really super nice if we didn’t have to spend $40,000+ on IVF.
Anyways my point of posting is to just hear stories from other people who have had a history of PID, and then trying to conceive? I feel strongly that my history of was the cause of my ectopic. I worry that even though when I had PID there was no apparent inflammation of my left tube, that I will still have another ectopic. I’m like, traumatized lol. Again we have a backup plan and remain hopeful.
I don’t need people to tell me it will be okay, and I’m not looking for success stories. I know that I will just have to try and see what happens. I have anxiety disorder so that could also be contributing to this obsessive fear that I’m doomed to have another ectopic due to previous PID. I just wanted to hear stories from other women since I can’t find very much actual experiences online. Of their experience trying to conceive in general after a history of PID and what hurdles you’ve faced because of it ? Did you just skip right to IVF to avoid tubes all together? Thanks :)

Hello all. I just got my CD 3 results in (32 F) To clarify, I have zero infertility coverage on my insurance (including testing) so my NP put these tests through for me as a favor and under menstrual irregularities. Therefore, she can’t really help me decipher these results and I was just appreciative of the fact that she was able to prescribe me the blood test to begin with.
*** I do realize that the numbers are WITHIN NORMAL RANGE *** however, I am worried about the FSH being on the higher end. I am trying not to panic. I know a lot of you are well versed on these things, and I know Reddit does not compare to medical advice from a real MD, but I’m just looking for some insight. I don’t have the funds to see a RE with zero coverage (initial consult with no testing included was over $700!)
AMH: 2.12 (reference range of 0.60–8.10 ng/mL.)
FSH (Follicle-Stimulating Hormone): 9.1 IU/L (Normal range: 3.5–12.5 IU/L)
LH (Luteinizing Hormone): 9.5 IU/L (Normal range: 2.4–12.6 IU/L)
Estradiol: 70 pg/mL (Normal range: 31–90 pg/mL)
Prolactin: 18.4 ng/mL (Normal range: 3.4–24.1 ng/mL)
Is there anything I can do? Am I being paranoid? Or is this a cause for concern?
Thank you for any insight that can be offered
