Game Solo dev milestone: Built an aerodynamic wingsuit flight game with drivable campus cars and zero pop-in pre-baked terrain
Hey fellow solo devs! For the past few months I've been solo-developing EXIT POINT on Roblox. My goal was to create a flight experience that treats aerodynamics seriously (real glide ratios, pitch/roll authority, and canopy steer dynamics) rather than standard arcade floatiness.
In our latest release: • Pre-baked the entire terrain and scenery natively to eliminate streaming pop-in during 100+ mph proximity passes. • Designed a custom vehicle factory with ground-pivot kinematics so players can hop into rovers right outside spawn and cruise to jump points. • Added a full multicolor neon night skyline across coastal towers.

Godot No drawing app: how a Python script draws every sprite of my cozy 16x16 town
I make small 16x16 asset packs. For Cozy Town I skipped the drawing app: every sprite is drawn by a Python script. Some context on how that works, in case it's useful.
- A sprite is a grid of letters. Each letter is a color from one fixed palette, the same one my farm tileset uses. Code adds rectangles, ellipses and ramps on top.
- One outline pass puts the same warm 1 px outline around everything, so the town and the farm match.
- Each building has a day and a night version, with lit windows and doors.
- Characters are built like paper dolls, frame by frame: legs, torso, arms, head, hair, hat, clothes and whatever they carry.
- The ground uses 47-piece autotiles. The same run writes the Godot TileSet, the Tiled tilesets and every PNG in 1x, 2x and 4x.
The upside: changing one palette color updates the whole town in one run. The downside: every new object is a small program, so a sofa takes longer than a quick sketch would.
The result is Cozy Town, with a free Lite: https://aquumgifts.itch.io/cozy-town
Happy to answer questions about the workflow :)

2 hermanas, 2 vidas casi opuestas. Quién se saldrá con la suya?.

Unity I’m developing A Long Flight, a flight simulator featuring a Piper PA-18 — looking for playtesters!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi everyone! I'm developing a flight simulator called A Long Flight in Unity, and I'm looking for people who would like to test the game and share their feedback.
The game currently features a Piper PA-18 Super Cub, with functional flight controls, a working cockpit, interactive flight instruments, engine sounds, and systems such as throttle, flaps, rudder, and parking brake. You can start the engine, take off, fly around, and practice landing at airports. The game also includes a map, different lighting conditions, and weather effects, including rain on the cockpit windshield.
I'm still developing and improving the game, so it is an early build and may contain bugs or unfinished features. I'd really appreciate feedback on the flight physics, controls, cockpit, graphics, performance, and overall experience.
If you try it, please let me know what works well and what you think should be improved. Thanks for helping an indie developer!

help Which variant looks better?
galleryHey guys, what are you cooking? :)
If you have a few minutes, I'd highly appreciate a small feedback about which variant looks better?
This is just a prototype 3D model of a sheep (without its fleece), so it still needs work, but I'm not entirely sure if I should go with a cartoon shader + a more low-poly visible style (keep in mind that the model is actually low poly, around 7k tris)
I personally prefer the `Cartoon Shader ON + Shading Softness 75%` as it gives a more cozy low-poly vibe, which seems to fit better with the artistic vision I currently have,
Thanks to anyone who'll spend a few minutes to give me a little feedback!
[Edit]
It looks like that the 4th image has not been uploaded, which would've been the Cartoon On - Shading Softness 100% variant.

Game I kept wondering if I'd even be human in my next life, so I made a game about it
Earth has 1.66 million known animal species. Which animal would you be reborn as?
I made a random animal reincarnation game: get adopted as a cat, try to bite someone as a mosquito, or dodge pest control as a cockroach. Each animal has its own life to experience.
Built solo with AI coding tools; more playable species are being added. Free in your browser: https://rebornonearth.com/

Marketing Looking for investors
Hey all. I've been working on a Roblox horror game called FACELESS: Lost Footage and it's finally done. It's basically Slender but co-op and everything is seen through an old 1997 camcorder. Up to 4 of you go into the woods to find 8 pages while this tall faceless guy stalks you. He only moves when nobody is looking at him, and if you stare at him too long your tape fills with static and he gets you.
Trailer: https://www.tiktok.com/tiktokstudio/analytics/7696982842252791070?qa_enter_from=home_recent_posts
Game: https://www.roblox.com/games/139595093314703/Faceless-Lost-Footage
Some of what's in it:
- campfire lobby where you join a crew, each crew gets its own server
- pages spawn at 8 of 14 spots so every run is different
- nightmare mode, 12 hidden lore tapes to find and unlockable camcorder filters
- 43 custom 3D models and licensed sound effects, no free models
- daily rewards, levels, badges and leaderboards
- works on PC, console, controller and mobile
Gamepasses and products are already set up so it can make money from day one. The one I'm most hopeful about is a 49 robux rewind you can buy right after you get jumpscared.
What I don't have is an ad budget, and Halloween is the best time of year to launch a horror game. So here's the deal: $20 gets you 5% of what the game earns (gamepasses, products and premium payouts after Roblox's cut) for its first 12 months. There are only 4 spots so once they're gone they're gone. All of the money goes into Roblox and TikTok ads. I'll post the dashboard numbers every month so you can see exactly what your cut is. If the game does well you do well, and if it doesn't you're only out $20.
I'm not just launching it and leaving it either. I plan on updating it often after launch, with new maps like an abandoned hospital and a snowy campground already planned. I'll be taking feedback from players and investors on what gets added and fixed next.
To be upfront, it isn't public yet so I don't have player numbers to show. I'm running a small ad test with my own money first and I'll show the results to anyone interested before they put anything in.
If you're interested add me on Discord: artyomalekseyevich_

Game I got tired of AI GMs forgetting my campaign, so I built one that keeps a persistent record. Looking for solo players to break it.
If you've tried running a solo campaign with ChatGPT or similar, you've probably hit the same wall I did. Around session three the AI forgets that you gave the lantern to your companion, that the innkeeper hates you, or that you already found the cellar door. You end up keeping a notes doc and pasting it back in every session.
So I built Sagaweft. The AI still narrates, but the world state is tracked separately from the chat. After each action it records what actually changed:
Item custody: Hooded lantern, Player → Brenna
Quest: The Black Hollow, Unopened → Cellar door found
Disposition: Brenna, Neutral → Favorable
Those changes carry into the next session. Each session is also saved as a searchable journal, and you get a recap when you come back.
It's a closed beta, so expect rough edges.
I'd especially like to hear from people who already play solo, with or without AI:
- What's the first thing that breaks immersion for you with AI GMs?
- Do you want the AI to handle rules and dice, or just narration?
Beta signup is at sagaweft.app if you want in. Brutal feedback is more useful to me than upvotes.

Game I'm an indie dev with no marketing budget. Anyone willing to give my game demo a try?
Hey everyone! I'm an indie game developer working on my game all by myself, and unfortunately, I don't have a budget for marketing.
I'd really appreciate it if anyone would be willing to give my game a try! If you decide to make a video about it, I'll add your name to the in-game credits as a thank-you.
No pressure at all — even just trying the game would mean a lot to me!

help Tips and guidance on this journey
Hey everyone!
I’m a biologist turned developer, and I’ve been working in AI development for almost three years. I mainly work with Python, but over the past year, I’ve been struggling to find purpose in my work and have really started delving into game development.
I’m planning to develop a 2D fighting game with my wife, set in a universe we’ve been building together for the past year.
We have the storytelling, character ideas, and so on, and we’re currently working with a friend who’s handling the illustrations.
The thing is, I’ve never developed a game from start to finish. As much as I have Claude Code to guide me through the process, I want to do things right and learn as much as I can along the way.
That’s why I’m here looking for advice. What tools should I look into? What should I focus on, and what should I be learning?
I’m open to any suggestions and would really appreciate some help!
Thanks, everyone!

help A game based on weather simulations - is this a dumb idea?
So, as someone who dabbles in a lot of data and a weird fascination with meteorology, I decided to create a weather sim game as a proof of concept.
It runs through different weather scans like radar, rain trail, satellite, and etc and the basis of it is that you're a weather man, and you have to make the right call whether or it can have an impact on lives and the damage on property. You earn reputation points, but also, it can take a hit based on the mistakes you make.

I'm not a professional game developer by any means, but would be good if this I'm on the right path or not.

Game Hard Landing - Alpha Scorpii
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
For reference, this ship is larger than a Nimitz class aircraft carrier. Damage isn't currently modeled.
This is the Gryphon. It's a cargo class of ship that will be used in my orbital flight and survival simulator. The game exists in the Antares system, otherwise known as Alpha Scorpii, The Heart of Scorpio. It's a binary star system with a dying supermassive red giant, Antares A, and a brilliant and hot main sequence blue star.
The game is created in my custom game engine I've been building called Twilight Engine. It's a rust/wgpu-vulkan engine that is highly optimized for simulations.

Game Nightfall: my first game, a dark fantasy extraction RPG built in Godot with Claude (looking for playtesters)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey all!
Zane here :) I've been going hard on something I'm really proud of, and I'd love some fresh eyes on it.
Nightfall is a dark fantasy PvPvE extraction RPG set in the cursed castle of Dawnhold, once a city blessed by the Light. Up to four raiders go in to uncover what happened there, find powerful relics, fight the dead and each other, and get out before the sixth bell.
The idea is to take the class fantasy of classic RPGs (WoW-style controls, abilities, talents and specialisations for each class) and blend it with the tension of an extraction game, where you can lose your best gear. The map is the main character: you learn more about Dawnhold every time you go in.
A few things that make it its own:
- Light keeps you safer from the dead, who grow stronger in the dark. But your lantern also shows you to other players.
- As the night goes on, the bells ring. Lights fail, the dead wake, and anyone still inside at the sixth bell is consumed by the dark.
- The story is told through places and items, never cutscenes.
How it's made: it's my first game. I'm building it in Godot 4 with Claude Code writing most of the code while I design and direct, and learning as I go. The 3D art comes from asset packs and the icons are AI-generated for now.
It's still early, but I'm gathering people in the Discord for our first playtest. If you'd like to be among the first into Dawnhold and help shape the game, come join 👇
I'd especially love to know: what would make you want to try it?

Unity INFINIHELL Beta Trailer (Halo X DRG X Doom) Looking for playtesters!
Playable Link: https://tommymcflurry.itch.io/infinihell
Platform: PC Windows
Description: InfiniHell is a fast arcade FPS. Each floor is a procedurally generated 3D cube maze full of soldiers, mechs, and entities from beyond. Survive the maze traps, events and find the exit lift before your clock runs out. Every floor you clear adds time, but the clock has a cap, and the floors keep getting bigger and meaner.
Between floors you draft powerups that turn your soldier and railgun into something worse: beams that ricochet and split on every bounce, explosive HEI rounds, a gravity gun that throws enemies into each other, chain lightning, a shotgun, charge shots, grenades, a plasma launcher, a grappling hook, a sword, ways to erases the maze itself and so much more.
New feature: 1-4 players Co-op descent (LAN)
