Trying this again , lost my wallet a couple weeks back with ID for Felipe Cervantes and ORCA card as well. It also had $25 cash if I recall correctly! Keep them but please return wallet to address or reach out to me. It was a bifold black Calvin Klein wallet.

Iāve tried to contact Signal Security on multiple occasions for non emergency issues at my apartment. Their number is posted all over our building, and they allegedly āpatrolā the area. Tonight I tried to call to see if they could do anything about the car blocking the entry way to our apartments parking garage, and the line is always busy and nobody ever picks up. Has anybody else dealt with them before? Getting really sick of the people who loiter in the alley behind my building, and SPD clearly donāt give a shit.

At California Ave & Oregon St in West Seattle, on the wall of Chase Bank, there is a mural of a teacher with a class full of students and the message āTODAY IS BANK DAYā written on the chalkboard. It was painted around 1990 by Alan Wylie, and then restored by muralist Bob Henry (not the āHenryā murals guy, thatās Ryan Henry Ward) in 2020.Ā (Here is a picture from 2019 showing the mural start to fade before the restoration.)
āBANK DAYā refers to a thrift-teaching custom in American schools in the 1920s, in which students would bring cash to school, the staff would collect it, and it would be deposited in the studentās name in a real account with the local bank.
In the mural, the teacherās name āMiss Chilbergā is written on the blackboard. I couldnāt find any source explicitly confirming thatās based on a real person (and the muralist doesnāt seem to have a public artist page, otherwise I would have asked him), but members of the prominent Chilberg family moved to Seattle in the 1800s. Googling āchilbergā āseattleā āteacherā led to https://www.seattletimes.com/pacific-nw-magazine/upheaval-on-spring-street-ca-1909/ (paywalled) which says: āIn 1908, the Chilbergs, with their daughter, Mabel, a teacher at Seattle High School, left their pioneer corner and moved farther up the hill.ā So it seems likely that thatās her.
She was also the sister of the most prominent Chilberg at the time, John Edward Chilberg, who was president of the 1909 AlaskaāYukonāPacific Exposition. And that guyās grandson was John Edward Chillberg II, who was the art director for Star Trek III.
Thank you for your service Mabel!

Wife was at a concert tonight, so I parked at Pike Place and just started walking. Wonderful weather, great food, beautiful atmosphere. No better way to spend four hours, just wanderin'.

Forget ghosts, goblins and things that go bump in the night. We've got four letters that'll send a shiver down any driver's spine: B-U-S-Y.That's right, another weekend of closures is creeping up on us.
Inspired by true (upcoming) events. Rated B for BUSY. Coming to a freeway near you Oct. 16ā18:
NB I-405 CLOSED in Bellevue
- Closed between SE 8th St to NE 4th St. from 11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16 to 4 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19. The following ramps will also close at this time: SE 8th St. on-ramp to NB I-405 and NB I-405 off-ramp to NE 4th St/NE 8th St. (Exit 13 A/B). Crews will pave, install concrete panels and set an overhead sign structure.
NB I-5 CONTINUED LANE CLOSURES across Ship Canal Bridge in Seattle
- Reduced to two lanes across the Ship Canal Bridge until the end of 2026. The express lanes will remain open NB-only 24/7.
EB I-90 LANE REDUCTIONS in Snoqualmie
- Two right lanes of EB I-90 closed from east of SR 18/Snoqualmie Parkways to SE N Bend Way, 6 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18. Maintenance crews will use this closure make bridge deck repairs.
You know that friend who looks over at you right before the jump scare in a horror movie? Yeah, that's us. Except instead of ruining the movie, we're giving you a heads-up about weekend closures. Check the travel maps, know your route before you go and give yourself extra time to get to that pumpkin patch.

I know that itās been bad with the ongoing bridge work, but the last two days have seemed extra extra horrible. Both days my commute after work has taken an extra 20 to 25 minutes.
Is there some extra factor Iām not aware of?

Hey!
I was in a commercial when I was a kid, and have spent several nights trying to find a copy online (reddit, YouTube, etc.) with no luck. Here's what I remember about it:
I know it's a super long shot and I apologize if there's anything I did wrong in the posting, but I appreciate any leads anyone may have :)
