so I’m new to the Fort Myers area and been wanting to start a small business (as in no employees atm just me doing side hustles at first) that would generate enough income for me to quit my 9-5 or at least work less hours in my regular job. I’ve been trying to think about what is in demand right now or overall what people would be interested in buying and stuff you haven’t seen people selling in the area. I’m also Puerto Rican so food can be an option. Please help me out by leaving some comments!!
PREFERABLY send DM if not just leave comment please
ALSO serious responses only
I can’t believe I have to say this but obviously I’m not looking to make infrastructure. I’m simply looking for some side hustles to do. I’m not asking what you guys would like to do in SWFL I’m asking what you would buy from someone.

Hello.
Any recommendations for restaurants with happy hour food and beverage specials in either Naples or North Naples areas, convenient to Rt. 41? Somewhere that can accommodate about 15 people.

We've all got our complaints about Southwest Florida. The traffic, the heat, the snowbirds, the occasional hurricane. 😂
But there's also a lot to love about living here.
If you had to pack up and move away tomorrow, what's the one thing you'd miss the most?
For me, being able to head to the beach for a walk, especially around sunset, would be pretty high on the list.
I'm curious what everyone else would say. And you can't say Publix chicken tender subs. That's too easy! 😂

Hey guys! I will be coming to Brooksville around the 18th and want to try and plan something fun for me (31f) and my mom (55) to do while I’m out there. We’re willing to drive an hour or so to Tampa or Orlando, and she is a local so I am trying to find something maybe she wouldn’t know about. Concerts, Halloween events, etc. She’s a spunky lady and always down for anything, I just need some suggestions from you guys!

My wife and I (27) just moved to Bonita Springs a few months ago and are trying to make new friends here.
We love playing pickleball and volleyball together. I love all sports and am trying to get into as much fishing here as possible while I live here.
If you live around, I’d love to connect!

I’m a 37 M and recently got out of a 10 year relationship and don’t have many friends. The ones I do have are all married and can’t spend too much time together to hang out without families. If anyone is looking for a friend to go to like BWW and just grab a beer and watch sports or go fishing or whatever hmu. I’m looking for friends.

I am looking for a imax cinema. If you have seen a movie in both, which one do you think is better in terms of screen size, quality and sound?
Unfortunately, Orlando or Miami is a bit too far I believe they have the best ones.
Thanks.

Title:
Looking for a mentor who has bred Mini Goldendoodles — brand new and want to do this right
Body:
Hi everyone,
I have a 2-year-old Mini Goldendoodle female. She’s had one heat. I’m considering breeding her for one litter, but I’m brand new and honestly overwhelmed. Before I do anything, I want to learn from someone who has actually done this responsibly.
I’m not asking for a stud right now. I’m looking for a mentor or experienced breeder who would be willing to talk me through the basics:
· What health testing she needs first
· How to time a breeding
· What whelping actually involves
· How to screen homes and write a contract
· Costs and risks I’m probably not thinking about
· Whether it’s even a good idea for my dog
If you’ve bred Mini Goldendoodles, Poodles, or Goldens and are willing to share advice, I’d be really grateful. I’m happy to pay a consult fee or compensate you for your time. I’m in Naples , Florida , but happy to talk online.
I’m not trying to cut corners or be a backyard breeder. I’m trying to learn before making a mistake. If your advice is “don’t do it,” I’m open to hearing that too.
Please comment or DM me. Thank you.

Hi everyone! We're senior students at SCAD working on a research project about cattle ranching in the South and the New World screwworm moving north.
We're hoping to interview a few people who raise or work cattle, whether that's a big operation or a handful of head. Just a short 15–20 min call about your day-to-day and what worries you right now.
If that's you (or your neighbor, dad, uncle…), this 2-minute form lets us reach out:
https://forms.gle/rrsNRW6mp6NV3Fii9
School project only, nothing being sold. Thanks for reading!

Title: Missed Connection: The Jimmy Buffett Lookalike Volunteer at RSW Airport (Mornings, March & May)
Body:
I am trying to find a specific airport volunteer I ran into four times across two separate trips earlier this year (once in March, once in May). Every single time was during the morning shift.
You look exactly like Jimmy Buffett. I ran into you upstairs managing the TSA lines, and downstairs in the baggage claim directing people toward Southwest or United. I called you "Jimmy" when I passed by.
At one point, you asked if I was with the guy I was traveling near. I shook my head no, and you gave me a huge smile. We had a real connection, and I haven't been able to forget it. I truly think if we weren't in the middle of a busy airport, you would have asked me out.
If you see this, or if anyone knows this volunteer who works the morning ambassador shifts at RSW, please reply! I would love to connect.

I’ve been looking to becoming a pharmacy tech for awhile, and from what I’ve gathered with my research it seems like the best way to go about becoming one in Florida is being hired through CVS/Walgreens. I’ve been applying to every internship they offer and haven’t gotten a response, and I’ve heard it’s pretty useless to have your PTCB in Florida unless you are able to get hands on experience. I’ve been looking into schools that will give me hands on experience, but I’m having a hard time choosing one that will actually get my foot in the door somewhere. Any school recommendations with hands on experience and externships available?

Looking for an outgoing 18+ female brand ambassador to join us for a one-day collectibles/card show in the Port Charlotte area this Saturday.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable engaging with people and has some interest in gaming, Pokémon/TCGs, anime, cosplay, sports, collectibles, or similar fandoms. Modeling, promotional, convention, cosplay, or content-creation experience is a plus, but definitely not required.
The role is mostly about bringing some extra energy and personality to the booth, interacting with attendees, helping attract people over, and being part of the overall presentation.
Saturday, approximately 9 AM–4 PM. One-day paid gig.
Specific event details, theme/attire, and compensation can be discussed privately.
If interested, send me a DM with a little about yourself and your Instagram, portfolio, or another social link so we can get a feel for whether it would be a good fit.
