Looking at this both ways you may get a different perspective. Can you identify things I created during the whole process? Dedicated to Camilo

I often wonder what my father might have achieved had he dedicated himself fully to art; sadly, due to the economic situation in El Salvador, he couldn't afford the luxury of pursuing his passion.
This is one of my favorite paintings of his, created in the 1990s.
It was inspired by an impoverished community in El Salvador that he visited during a school field trip as a child; the image left such a lasting impression on him that, years later, he painted this picture.
He painted a lot in his youth, and created a lot of art.
Thanks a lot Dad for your sacrifice.

I saw a comment recently on someoneās artwork that said there was no artistry involved and that stuck with me for some reason. When you look at this half of the painting do you feel anything? Iām wondering if itās just flat like not good enough to be realism but not interesting enough to be impressionist. No idea would love some thoughts. Also iām working on this to hang in my house, I like to paint things that iād like in my house, so itās not something iām making for someone just really loved the photo of the garden. The original photo is mateusz kalafutās garden from an instagram post of his.
